These are the rules of the Tribal Council.

Rules
1) Some forums moderators have made a topic for rules of their own forum. These rules must be followed at all times in these forums.

2)Screen names MUST be appropriate. What you, the poster thinks is appropriate and what the moderators and adminstrators deem appropriate may be two different things. We, the mods and admins have the final say in what is ok and what is not ok, that is why we are mods and admins. We know best, most of the time.

3) Cussing will be tolerated to a certain degree. However sexually orientated words will not be. Moderators and administrators will use their judgement on these and modify the post accordingly. The violator will be given a warning. 3 warnings in a relatively short amount of time and you will be removed from the community.

4) You must be respectful to all posters, if not you will be punished accordingly.


5) All threads must be posted in the correct forum or they will be locked or moved; although we can move them, it helps if you just put them in the right place to begin with. If a thread is made and there is already a thread made for that particular topic it will be locked and/or deleted.

6) No spam, its yucky. Spaming is defined as any kind of excessive posting or soliciting of any kind. If caught spamming you will face a temporary ban on your first offense and further offenses will result in a permanent ban. However, the punishment will be based mainly on the content of these posts.

7) No excuses! If caught violating these Terms of Service you will be banned. On many other messageboards; when people are banned the common excuse is it was my little brother. Excuses like these will not be accepted! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SCREENNAME! That is why we have that little feature at the top of every single page entitled "Log Off". Use it or else!

8) No socking. Socking is defined as creating more than one account for posting purposes. The sock account will be locked and possibly deleted. For newer members, we may give you one more chance to become an established member of the posting community at the Discussion Group before outright banning you for this offense.

9) Basically, if you think that it may not be okay, you should not try it. If you think that you may have to ask, do NOT even try it.

These rules have been set forth by the staff and administration. Most of the moderators or administrators will give second or third chances. Although we all have the same capabilities, we may be as strict as one another. If a poster is banned, the decision to un-ban them resides in the mod that banned them and only that mod.


An infraction of these rules will result in the following-

Any infractions of these rules will get a warning, a series of ten warnings and you will be permanetly locked. Each infraction may result in a temporary ban ranging from a few hours to a few days to calm down.
