I don't know the full work of either but I listen to several of Blur's songs and none of Oasis's. They're not bad I just find them quite dull. Blur have some more fun songs.

Oasis are like a second-rate Beatles tribute band withiut the harmonies.
Blur are like a load of smarty-pants trying to be cool. But after that "Chant" thing, I just hated them. I hate anybody that uses "Woooo Hooooo" instead of lyrics.

Oasis by far! They're songs are so iconic in the UK. Champagane Supernova, Wonderwall, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Little By Little, Roll With It... :wub:

omg karen i love u x they tried so hard to be the beatles (so much so they employed ringo star's son to be their drummer) but in what...nearly 20 years they couldn't manage to create the amount of iconic and timeless songs the beatles created in like what seven years? plus their cover of helter skelter is shit and really shows how weak they are. plus noel and liam are massive twats. At least Blur progressed their sound away from the britpop shit with Blur, 13 and think tank while Oasis were doing the same ol' working class for as long as they could get away with it and then did a contrivied ~psychedelic~ influence album much like the Beatles did after they went to India. They're so rubbish

Even if their music had been interesting and orginal, I couldn't stand Liam's John Lennon impersonation. At least John Lennon had that "arrogant" stare because he was so f@cking short-sighted he couldn't see the audience! Liam is just.... an arrogant tw@t!
