After entering the estate, you are welcomed by a large chandelier. A staircase is set on either side, and the walls are a dark solid wood. It is moderately lit, with painting and rugs placed here and there. Overall, it has a very 'homey' feel.

The headmistress, Storm, has the attic entirely to herself, decorated with several plants, almost like a garden. Vines hang from the ceiling, and large sky-lights give her the ability to be closer to nature, and her powers. Unless personally invited, no one is allowed in the attic.

North Salem is a busy place, at almost every corner, you will either find a waiting taxi or a bustop. There is basically every mode of transportation you can find in a city, especially for mutants who like to blend into society.

This is the busy district for all bureaucrats and businessmen of Salem, everything from high-end chains to hotdog vendors make their living on this large stretch of inner Salem. Money comes in and out of here in truckloads, but it is highly guarded by cameras and police.

Located on the upper side of North Salem, Ridgefield Park is an excellent choice for a relaxing, scenic walk or run. Brightly lit during the day, you can see the twisting walkways, and towards the center, a small fountain and benches can be found. However, at nightfall, it can be a very dark and rowdy place since it seems to attract attention from the most unwanted places. Be careful if walking alone at night, this serene park has a much darker side.

At night, North Salem lights up for having a good time. There are several strips of bars and danceclubs, but be careful, many places are privately owned and controlled by forces not worth meddling with.

This low-end building is for those who barely have enough money to scrape by on, let alone afford a luxurious place to live. It has one bedroom with an attached bathroom, a kitchen, a small living room, and a closet space. Nothing too fantastic, but the rent's cheap. If you can look past the peeling wallpaper and rowdy crowd, this is an okay place.

This district has become known as simply 'Rockford', because the range is so wide. It spans from the edge of North Salem to the boarder of Croton Falls, and consists of several different houses. Closer to Salem, the houses are upper class and large, but the farther you stray, the smaller and more rural the houses become.

It's been six months since the Mutant War, at first there was a pleasant calm around the world. Humans and mutants were taking steps forward, togethor.
But now that is all about to change.
The cure isn't working, in fact, it's killing mutants. Those who are strong enough to survive it's ravaging effects are now seeing their powers return, some even mutated from their original. Panic and fear is starting to creep back into the public eye, as tensions between everyone are starting to heighten. Will there be another Mutant War? Or maybe something worse...
 November 10th, 2009 : The rules have been updated, so hopefully everything is a bit clearer!
October 25th, 2009 : Activity is increasing! Requiem welcomes all the new faces and I, personally, look forward to getting to know everyone! -E
October 10th, 2009 : I'd like to encourage quests to take a look around and join if they find Requiem to their liking. Also, any help spreading the word, informing rping buddies about Requiem, ect, would be greatly appreciated.
