Flaming_dragon_8468 - April 26, 2005 08:19 PM (GMT)
I was just wondering if anyone knows whats going to be in the Blaze of Destruction and Fury from the Deep structure decks that should be comeing out sometime soon. Any info would be helpful.

Fury of the Deep focuses on sea serpents and Blaze of Destruction focuses on fire and earth(i think earth)

Alright thats a start. Sea Serpents need some assistance anyway lol. I'm more concerned about the Blaze of Destruction. Fire monsters need more help than water or earth do.

Wow...more packs?
dang....o.O

The new set comeing out is The Lost Millennium. Any info on that one? Someone i know is really wanting Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Ever think they'll release that in a set?

Highly doubt that BEUD will becoming this year and Scoarching Ground and Fury from the Deep are only in Japan right now. THere be here much sooner than BEUD though. Fury from the Deep will be much better just as Zombie Madness was better than Dragon's Roar. Scoarching Ground trys to be a fire beawtdown when fire is best as burn. Heres a inside look at the Japanese set which should be extremly similar:
Hellflame Emperor
Fire/Pyro/9/2700/1600
This card can't be special summoned. When this card is successfully tribute summoned
remove up to five fire monsters in your graveyard from play, then destroy the same number
of spells or traps on the field.
-Wow. What an explosively sucktacular card. Folks we have a monster that walks all
over this guy and makes his costly effect and his pitiful stats completely obsolete,
and he happens to be a common in the other structure deck ...
and it's not Star Boy...
Great Angus
Blazing Inpachi
3x UFO Turtle
Little Chimera
2x Inferno
Molten Zombie
2x Solar Flare Dragon
2x Ultimate Baseball Kid
Raging Flame Sprite
Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch
Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective
Fox Fire
Snatch Steal
Mystical Space Typhoon
2x Molten Destruction
Nobleman of Crossout
Premature Burial
Pot of Greed
Tribute to the Doomed
Heavy Storm
Dark Room of Nightmares
Reload
2x Level Limit Area-B
Command Necklace
Meteor of Destruction
2x Dust Tornado
Call of the Haunted
Jar of Greed
Spell Shield Type-8
2x Backfire
FURY FROM THE DEEP
-MUCH better than Scorched Ground. Neo Daedalus seems very likely to be devastating,
and the deck includes so many other great cards (Mobius, Tribe
Infecting...) that this deck definitely shines thru. Also, water is a much more
coherent theme that fire.
Levia-Dragon God-Neo Daedalus
Water/Sea Serpent/8/2900/1600
This card can't be normal summoned, it can only be special summoned by offering
"Levia-Dragon Daedalus" as a tribute. Send "Umi" from the field to the graveyard to
destroy all cards on the field and in each player's hand except this card.
-Wow, we go from a water version of Dark Hole to a water version of Chaos Emperor
Dragon. I'd say this guy has similar uses to CED and is quite obviously much better
than Hellflame Emperor. One field spell for a totally unblockable 2900 attack
is... wonderful...
7-Colored Fish
Sea Serpent Warrior of Darkness
Space Mambo
3x Mother Grizzly
Star Boy
Tribe-Infecting Virus
2x Fenrir
Amphibious Bugroth MK-3
Levia-Dragon Daedalus
Mermaid Knight
Mobius the Frost Monarch
Unshaven Angler
Creeping Doom Manta
Snatch Steal
Mystical Space Typhoon
Premature Burial
Pot of Greed
Heavy Storm
3x A Legendary Ocean
Creature Swap
2x Reload
2x Salvage
Hammer Shot
Big Wave, Small Wave
Dust Tornado
Call of the Haunted
2x Gravity Bind
Tornado Wall
Torrential Tribute
Spell Shield Type-8
Xing Zhen Hu

Ok, now, most of the time what seems to be a "sucktacular" card (as alienx put it) actually has some not-so-obvious usage, especially in the case of effect monsters, that even pros tend to miss occasionally, and I am usually the one to point out these hidden usages first ;) . The exception to this rule is Hellflame Emporor, whose usefulness escapes even me, the master of effect monsters.
I just have one question for Upper Deck: :mad :arg: WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!? :arg: :mad How could those guys create such a horrible card? I have a right mind to come over to their offices and yammer at them about this and the fact that they got rid of all the good cards until their collective ears fall off bomb .
CURSE YOU UPPER DECK!!!!
Flaming_dragon_8468 - April 30, 2005 03:52 PM (GMT)
Well the card isnt great but i see potential in it! i think youre being too hard on it... i mean, your opponent can only have a max of 6 spell/trap cards on his field and that's IF he/she has a field card. Which most people dont run too many field cards so you dont have to worry about that BUT in the case of Umi decks.... thats a strong power... because without A Legendary Ocean, water decks arent too great. So you zap A Legendary Ocean when you bring him out and then whatever spell or trap cards your opponent had set for you and youre free to attack or whatever for a turn without your opponent stopping ANYTHING! plus 2700 attack isnt too bad
