Well, I may be only 12(13 next Monday I believe), but I am making an online game. My friends are supposibly helping me but all they are doing is" oh Ivan, I want this in my castle and put lv. 1000 knights guarding me" and the like. So basically they arent doing anything and I would be very happy if I can get some help. I will even pay you(off the funds I get from pay2play members)if you help.

I'll tell the name only to those I can trust and a month before its release...

the game is kinda like a zelda game but not exactly...You are in medieval times; its a fantasy. You get to make your own weapons, do some quests, fight monsters, etc.

I need help in monster ideas, towns, NPC's, items, finding the graphics for the game, a website :ph43r: ,stuff like that...

as for the server and stuff,my friend said he'd take careof that...but apparently he hasnt been doing any thing... :(

I'm not much into RPGs
think of things and LMK if ya need anything specific

not RPG, Action/Adventure w/a bit of RPG style(but not much).

think of it as Prince of Persia+Final Fantasy, you fight like if you were in a war, not taking turns killing each other, but the way your items and the way you buy stuf are like an RPG. The landscape I am trying to focus on is like Zelda, vast and adventurous, every corner could have something different be it a monster or a treasure. And I need to supply the player's with plenty of stuff to do thus the quests. For example:

Chicken Lady lost her favorite chicken, Egret.
She asks you to find her
You find Egret
You get reward.

something like that or:

Townsfolk are ravaging about a wandering knight with evil intensions
You set out to find the knight
You find a wounded man on a path, and ask him what happened
You find out that he was bringing his wares to sell at the local market but he was attacked by a man in armor.
He also gives you a key he found that appears to be dropped by the knight.
You go to a psychic and she tells you were the castle is(of course for a fee)
You manage to get there but the key is stolen from you by a mugger
Kill him and get the key back
Get in the castle to be greated by a friendly ambush of skeleton knights
After a dungeon of dragon, ogre, skeleton, zombie and demon slaying, you find the killer preparing a potion which he calls the Elixer of Dreams
You fight him(an hopefuly)kill him
You find out that an evil shadow demon spirit was taking over his body
Fight and kill it(its immune to arrows)it
Bring the guy back to life with that potion.
You see a flashback in his eyes
He thanks you gives a reward and you complete the quest.

So, quests are just so you can have something to do and not just go up to a cow and beat the hell out of it. Quests can be as simple as collecting bugs to basically doing a Zelda dungeon.

Oh ya and in my game, you can pick how your character looks like and his race:

Elf(woodland elf, mountain elf, night elf)
Dwarf(hill dwarf, night dwarf, tundra dwarf, desert dwarf)
Demon(human-like, dragon-like, animal-like, shadow-fiend)

Lizardman(pretty much every reptile)
Sahagin(pretty much every kind of fish, dolphin and whale)
Goblinoid(kobold, gremlin, goblin, orc, ogre, troll, gnoll, hobgoblin)
Undead(skeleton, zombie, vampire, ghoul, mummy)
Mandrake(pretty much any dragon that you can think of in a human skeletal structure)

I know this is going to be very hard but that's why I am asking for help. Those who help get paid and get free membership and some rare stuff.

Anybody can help me with:
1. Quests(for memebers)

5. NPC's
6. Finding something for the Graphics(you don't need to buy it although it would be greatly appreciated, if you do buy it though I will pay yu back via mail or something)
7. Getting a website(I know this should be my top priority, but I was only incharge of how everything looks and the stuff in the game and non-members quests)
8. How to put music in the computer(I have already written some of the music for my game and I might get my school band to play it, since I am in band, but I just wanna know how to put the music in the game, kinda like a MIDI or something, oh ya nad if anybody can send me sheetmusic for ideas for the music in the game, that would work too :) )

If anybody REALLY helps me, they get a continent in my game! Which means you can own that land and basically you are king(or queen if you wanna be a girl in the game)of that entire land, and you pick what's in it who things work and everything. Of course, if you want like LV. 198605778698 Knights the first two weeks of its release then forget it. :lol:

would your character gain levels or grow stronger as you advance through the game in any way?

yes, and its like I said action/adventure w/a bit of RPG flavor(and you do it by fighting, casting spells, practicing archery, etc.).


also your character isnt the only thing that lvls up, your weapons do as well. Well, actually your character starts at Lv.1 and so do all his stats. How well he/she fights depends on how well he/she has experience with that certain weapon. If you get your exp lvl with a Bronze Mace to 99, it will magically change shape and will transform into a very cool looking mace, it will also be VERY,very powerful. It also depends on what you use(d) it for the most. You used it offensively, accurately or defensivly.

Also, you can "tame" monsters such as elephants, phoenixes, demonic tortoises, and(hehe...DM would probably want this, or he might want a nice stallion)Dragons, ect. You can also use them in a fight and they too have lvls to gain. And the character selections are:

Eye Type:

Eye Outer:(this is the white part of an eye, once I find its correct name, i'll change it. Demons, Vampires and some other creatures can only do this)

Skin Type:(for the animal beings)
Hair Color:
Hair Type:
Facial Hair:(obviously males only...or not :blink: , jk)
Nose Type:
Top:(your shirt)
Top Color:
Top Design:
Arms:(your sleeves)
Wrists:(pick if you want one of those medieval wristbands or not)

Feet:(style of shoe)

If not, try this one: An evil cult that worships Ares, the God of War, is searching for five mystical fragments of an artifact known as "The Heaven's Stone", a meteorite with vast destructive power. They wish to use it to create an "Age of Darkness" suitable for their master to rule over. The only thing standing in their way is the son of the guardian of one of the shards (this one is a big surprise :P )--you.

I think it is awesome and semi-original, except there are 2 problems:

1. what if the player is a she
2. this is an online MULTIPLAYER game
