Title: Timeater Combos
alienx200 - March 6, 2005 11:31 PM (GMT)
I came across this card while organizing my stuff:
Timeater
ATK: 1900
DEF: 1700
Type: Machine/Effect
Attribute: DARK
Set Name: Yu-Gi-Oh! Pharaonic Guardian
Card Num: PGD-010
Rarity: Common
If this monster destroys a monster on your opponent's side of the field in battle, your opponent skips his/her next Main Phase 1.
I've never seen anyone use this card, but it looks pretty good. Combine it with Drop Off or Time Seal and your opponet dosen't have a draw or main phase 1. Combine this with thunder of ruler and now your opponet only has main phase 2 to do anything. Maybe i'm missing something, but this card looks seriously underrated YAY

I just see my title of "EVIL Combos Master" fading away before my eyes... -_-

yeah i agree this card come really do some damage... but i dont know if i'd really bother with it if it were me
Vampire Prince - March 7, 2005 12:02 AM (GMT)
because they cannot do anything!
the only way to step into Main2 is if you go thru yur Battle Phase first.
They cannot summon monster, activate traps or spells and draw that one time.
I mean if that Thunder guy says they must skip their Battle Phase, if not well still its EVIL >:(
Flaming_dragon_8468 - March 7, 2005 12:53 AM (GMT)
No you can still have a MP2 if you dont have a BP... its just usually kind of pointless to have a MP2 if u dont have a BP

WOW!! I really need these cards...where can I find them, and how rare are they? this is an awesome stall combo! Oh no...evil...thoughts...taking...over...must...talk..like...this...can't...supress any longerrrrrRRAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!! >:(
Flaming_dragon_8468 - March 7, 2005 09:03 PM (GMT)
Time Eater - (PGD-Common)
Drop Off - (LOD-Super Rare)
Time Seal - (PSV-Common) (DB1-Common)
Thunder of Ruler (MFC-Common)
Yata-Garasu (LOD-Secret Rare)
So, as you can see.... very cheap and easy to get your hands on cards.... except Yata-Garasu which wasnt mentioned here but it would help too... if you play by the Traditional list.
If i was to build a deck around this, i would also concentrate on either zapping cards out of the hand or off the field. OR BOTH lol... but the point is, you need to destroy anything your opponent already may have.
normalmonsterssuk - March 7, 2005 10:35 PM (GMT)
u mentioned hand-zapping; wouldn't the Dark Scorpion cards fit that description well?
Flaming_dragon_8468 - March 7, 2005 10:43 PM (GMT)
Yes they would... and then theres Mefist the Infernal General and the ever-so-useful Spirit Reaper... and Robbin' Goblin or Robbin Zombie with cards like Airknight Pharshath and Dark Diceratops
alienx200 - March 8, 2005 12:15 AM (GMT)
Robbin Zombie probably wouldn't work to well with this since we're trying to limit there options not deplete their deck. But Hand distrupstion is great with this like u said (or somebody said). To bad Forecful Sentry and COnfiscation are going to be banned. What other good hand distrupstion cards are their (not just like Don Zaloog)

How about Forced Requisition and some good Spells and Traps that require you to descard from your hand? Theyre giving us Graceful Charity back. And the new set has Raigeki Vortex... and then theres Hallowed Life Barrier... and since we're doing difference damage and limiting options, why not throw in a Wicked-Breaking Flamberge - Baou or two and negate their effects too.
alienx200 - March 9, 2005 12:41 AM (GMT)
I've seen Forced Requisition before and had its effect explained to me, but when i used it in a duel, everyone said i was using it wrong. How do you use it?
Flaming_dragon_8468 - March 9, 2005 01:41 AM (GMT)
Forced Requisition
Group: Trap Card
Type: Trap
Icon:Continuous
You can activate this card when you discard from your hand.every time you discard from your hand your opponent must also discard the same number of cards from his/her hand.
You activate Graceful Charity... discard two cards... you opponent discards 2 cards as well.... Hallowed Life Barrier... discard one card... so does your opponent... Final Destiny.... discard 5 cards... so does your opponent! this is a great card... if i had more, i would make a deck around it

I just found a card that works even better than Negate Attack or Thunder of Ruler- THreating Roar. From the new Flamming Entenity Set. It doesn't let your opponent attack at all the turn its activated. Also cards that put card from the field to the top of your deck like Back to Square One, Lengendary Jujistu Master and Phoenix Wing Wind Blast work as well as Drop Off if used correctly
