I just wanted to say that i think that normal monsters can be some of the best, with the right magic and trap back up. All of these 1900 attacking, 4 star monsters are great. Blue Eyes isnt that bad either with a little Burst Stream added to it. and then theres Soul Ressurection for them and that one magic card that lets u get 2 normal monsters out of your graveyard. Of course, effect monsters are usually better but i think someone could make a deck with just normal monsters and still be good. Anyone up for that challenge?

Why don't you make a normal monster deck, and post it on this site?
Get YVD (if you dont have it) and make the deck there.

Flaming Dragon does have a point; at times, normal monsters CAN be okay. In fact, i recently saw some cards that help out normal monster decks specifically, like Man Thro' Tro' (lets u take a normal monster from ur hand and deal direct damage with it), Legion of Normal (at least, i THINK that's what it's called, but it lets u special summon normal monsters from ur hand by paying LP for every monster summoned). However, that doesn't change my all-consuming love for effect monsters :wub:

of course... unless they make an awsome super ultra wicked normal monster, then effect monsters will always be better... but still... a normal monster deck would be pretty interesting lol...

theres also Curse of Anubis (i think thats the name) it turns all face-up effect monsters into defense mode and makes their defense 0. Well, just bring out blue eyes and equip fairy meteor crush.... TAKE IT lol
