angelsflame265 - February 22, 2005 11:18 PM (GMT)
But the rest of us can talk about Hermione while your off being lazy Shonk! :P

I really like Hermione, I used to be like her when I was younger. But I guess I grew out of it. I love how she is really loyal to her friends but will think things through before hand.

scarletwoman - March 6, 2005 07:31 AM (GMT)
hermione is one of my fave characters. in book 1 she got on my nerves so bad but she's lightened up and i love her. just like w/ ron and harry (especially ron) she's grown on me. :D

angelsflame265 - March 6, 2005 04:00 PM (GMT)
And it is kinnda obvious that Harry and Ron need Hermoine. Harry maybe more then Ron.

scarletwoman - March 6, 2005 04:04 PM (GMT)
yeah, w/o her they probably wouldnt have found out who nicolas flamel was OR found out about the basilisk.

geeky granger - August 11, 2005 04:21 AM (GMT)
Hermione is a trip... I love her character because she is such an insuferable knowitall as snape would say. Sometimes I am told that I'm and insuferable knowit all, which i'm not. But I feel that Hermione is an awesome character who has a lot of... lol.... character!

mwiley - September 26, 2005 11:59 PM (GMT)
Hey peoplz!!

I love hermione, and i'm a lot like her, espiecally since i cut my hair to my shoulders and now its like her length and poufy everyone always tells me i look like her, exsept i have darker hair. I don't only look like her, everyone says i'm waaayy to smart. (i don't really think so though)

TeeLee - November 18, 2005 08:43 PM (GMT)
hermy is cool... too cool :P

afigirlafi - November 19, 2005 02:15 AM (GMT)
well i say that hermony is a good role model for younger girls cuzin the 3rd movie when she socked mlfoy it was awsome cuz she defende her self an yeah she is just awsome

Sardine - November 19, 2005 07:37 AM (GMT)
Im not a huge Hermione fan...and in the movie, when she punched Malfoy,it sooo didnt look real...i was really disappointed with that movie!!!
GoF is sooo gonna rock!!!

TeeLee - November 19, 2005 07:38 PM (GMT)
hmmm... i liked when she punched draco!!!

mwiley - November 20, 2005 02:15 AM (GMT)
I think hermione is awsome. The other kids may make fun of her, but is there anything she hasn't got? I mean she's got two good friends (ron's about to me more than that i think) she gets good grades, she can perform way more spells that any other student, she's got a good personality, and if she wanted to be, she could be so beautiful, like how she looked at the yule ball. Even without the effort she's really not ugly, her only flaw is her huge bushy hair, and even her hair doesn't look THAT bad.

TeeLee - November 20, 2005 03:39 PM (GMT)
mwiley is right ^_^

mwiley - November 21, 2005 02:13 AM (GMT)
Thank you Tee Lee!!

The only reason hermione gets picked on is because of her hair and her habbit of bobbing up and down to get the teacher's attention, so she can answer the question they had just asked.

Sardine - November 21, 2005 01:08 PM (GMT)
I dont mind Hermione!
Its just that Emma could of made that punch look more real...her hand was like 10cm away from Toms face!!!

I dont mind Emma either!

mwiley - November 28, 2005 05:50 AM (GMT)
Yeah awsome.

Now i get what you mean about the punch. She is an awsome character, though and if you think about it, harry and ron would probably be dead if it weren't for hermione.

afigirlafi - November 29, 2005 03:08 AM (GMT)
i agree fred mine hermny +ron=true love for eve

angelsflame265 - December 28, 2005 03:13 PM (GMT)
So what do you think will happen to Hermione in the next book? How do you think she'll help the story?

afigirlafi - December 29, 2005 12:05 AM (GMT)
in alot of wayz she is always getting harry and ron out of troble and stuff

angelsflame265 - December 29, 2005 03:00 AM (GMT)
Yeah because she thinks before she acts :P Silly boys.

I wonder what would happen if Hermione wasn't there to help them?

afigirlafi - December 29, 2005 06:55 PM (GMT)
hary ron's world would come down and i don't think they would have survied boook 1

I like Hermione. She's a different kind of character, a Smarty Pants. Which is definately very helpfull to Harry when he needs to know something, Hermione knows it. She spends all her time in the library reading books on subjects that she probably will never need to know about, but better safe than sorry.
I am totally glad that Hermione and Ron get together in the 7th book! They had kids to!!
ladeeknight - September 13, 2007 11:22 PM (GMT)
Hermione is the plot driver of most of the books. She is an endless source of information that Harry - being raised my muggles - wouldn't know. She always has a plan that Harry carries out. JK Rowling did an excellent job in setting up her character, not only as a plot driver, but as a role model

I think hermione is awsome. The other kids may make fun of her, but is there anything she hasn't got? I mean she's got two good friends (ron's about to me more than that i think) she gets good grades, she can perform way more spells that any other student, she's got a good personality, and if she wanted to be, she could be so beautiful, like how she looked at the yule ball. mwiley makes excellent points why she is a good role model for girls. She relies on her brains, but knows she is attractive without using her charisma to push other people around. She has her blind spots, but she often dead on. She is the moral compass for the group. She love house elves and all other helpless creatures, like Ron. Hermione is a wonderful character all around.

Twilight - September 18, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
Hermione is great. She was irritating in the first book, but she figured that out and started to make some changes in herself. After that, I don't know what Harry and Ron would have done without her. Probably flunked out of Hogwarts (Snape would have loved that!).

When the going gets tough, Hermione goes to the library, as Ron noted in COS. That's what I do, too, so I kind of identify with Hermione.

I felt that Hermione was kind of overlooked in the last book, though. I'd like to have seen her do more.

ladeeknight - September 18, 2007 07:06 PM (GMT)
I think there wasn't as much for Hermione to do in the last book because she was away from the library and had dropped out of school. But she continued with her lessons by finding doing Dumbledore assigned reading and researching his life in Rita's book. She was quite the victim in the last book when she got tortured by Bellatrix. I was sad that Hermione had to play victim to Ron's hero, but it was very poingiant and proved how he felt about her. Let Hermione rest, she carried Ron and Harry throught the first 6 books.

doratheauror - September 18, 2007 07:49 PM (GMT)
I know that some people didn't like her at first and now do, but I've always loved her, she was my only fave until Tonks came around, but if I had to choose one its deff Hermione. Like others have said, she's a great role model for girls, she has values, she sticks up for what she believes in. Plus she punched Draco, thats always a plus!

Ez-Bake oven - September 18, 2007 10:23 PM (GMT)
I've always loved her. I love that she is smart and friends with the most known boy in the wizarding world. she does always help people out of trouble, is a great roll modle, and punched draco.

hot - November 5, 2007 11:50 PM (GMT)
How can you not love Hermione? I mean she's so cool!
Especially since she punched Draco.
I like that J.K. Rowling has made her a lovable nerd. Most books that you read, the smart characters are always viewed as idiots. But of course Rowling has made the nerd one of the central characters.

haley21 - December 23, 2007 03:32 PM (GMT)
Hey,
I think Hermoine is so awesome! She is like one of my favorite characters along with Harry, Ron, and Luna.

haley21 - December 23, 2007 03:34 PM (GMT)
I really think Hermoine is so cool, well yea because she punched Draco and because she is really smart!

Luna~Lovegood - January 10, 2008 05:03 AM (GMT)
yeah hermione is cool but not as cool as luna yay luna

Ez-Bake oven - August 11, 2008 08:06 PM (GMT)
OMG!!! my favorite part was when she punched Draco!!! That was awesome! But yeah I love how she acts like she had compleate faith in Ron when he had to take his driving test but he really used magic and stuff... But yeah she is a lovable Nerd!
