Well, Harry for one isn't the only person in the world. There are others who suffer much more than he does. And although somethings maybe too overwhelming to bear, he acts like everyone has to stop for him. But you know what they say, "Misery loves company."

I agree with you all about how he acted in Half Blood Prince! Sometimes it's the way Harry always acts. People will warn him about things and he'll just mindlessly do that exact thing. I'm like....okay. He has a temper on him and is stubborn. Not two great qualities.

Harry is the main character or course, but sometimes, he acts so foolish I feel like using one of the Forgiveable Curses on him myself!

If you consider a lot of stuff going on in the world riight now you'll see that heroes are gone...there's only anti-heroes. We all know heroes are the guys who do good for the simple belief that good is right. Anti-heroes on the other hand are evil characters in nature that end up doing the right thing because the other evil guys are messing with him...such is the case of movie characters like XXX, Riddick...the punisher in a much lower scale but an anti-heroe anyway and one of the most clear examples Constantine.

The truth is there aren't many heroes out there and Harry Potter is one of the happy few...everyone seems to want the heroe to die and suffer...but they hope the antiheroe just kicks everyone's @$$ and leave without a scratch to fight again in the sequel. I personally am with the idea of killing the antiheroe or redeaming him, and let the real heroe live and enjoy the life and freedom he worked hard to secure...

This is just something to think about, reflect on it and get back to me :D

And just to add...the whole hero dying or sacrificing himself has turned into a real clicheé...since gladiator and the last matrix revolutions, they all die now a days and that's just boring

[spoiler]I was quite excited when I read the 7th book and Voldie kills Harry. But then, sadly, he comes back to life!! I think that's a little cheesy, but it made the story a bit more exciting I suppose.[/spoiler]
