The countdown is coming to a close, I can't belive it! It seems like we've been waiting FOREVER for this book! But what are you plans for when the book comes out? What store are you going to buy it from?

I plan on getting up early Saturday morning and heading over to Barnes and Noble and Wal*Mark to see which is the cheapest price. I love Harry, but I don't want to pay $30 for the book! After that, I plan on getting my book, grabbing me a nice cold ice tea and going outside and sit on my porch. That way, I'll enjoy the nice sunshine and Harry too. :P

That sounds like a great plan! My plans for the big night are a bit more crazy, I must admit. A group of my friends and I are going to Borders for a HP party and waiting until midnight for the book release. I can't wait! After that, I'm afraid I won't get much time to read the book over the weekend because my family is going on vacation and I have to help get stuff packed. :wacko: But while I'm on vacation I'm gonna sit back and relax while I read it!

no way i'm waiting till saturday morning :P. friday night will give me several several hours to read the book!!! i'm going to the HP party our books-a-miilion is having. so excited!!!!! :celebrate: :geek: and then i shall stay up all night reading, yay!!

I'm going to call Barnes and Nobel or Border Books and ask them if they're having some type of party, most places are. If so, I'm going to try and boogey on down there and see what's up. Dunno if I'll wait til mid-night, but it's a thought! Have fun on your vacation Ashley!

Anywayz...Im going to the movies this weekend and I'll be at my friends for the whole weekend so I wont be worrying bout HP.

Plus i wont get to read the book til my mother is finished with it so I'll be waiting 4-5 days <_<

OH wow...LOL Our celebrations were insane...We went to the Midnight release party at Hastings...It was ridiculously crowded...But we had to wait in line for almost 2 hours...Because ppl kept cutting us...Stupid ppl...But it was a lot of fun...Then after I got the book I went home and read until about 3 in the morning!! :)

The second day after I got it..i musta stayed up until like 4 in the morning just to finish it!

I'm thinking that this thread is soooo old there's no point to even replying to it. But I went to the midnight opening and read the whole book in the car. Just in case anyone was interested...
