I just got back from seeing the movie War of the Worlds??

Has anyone seen this movie yet?

It was a GREAT movie!! :D Although in our theatre they played it really loud so when I got out I had a really bad head ache!! But it was a good movie...I advise everyone to see it!!! If you like alien kind of movies...But Dakota Fanning is cute to...That is the only reason I went to it!! She is cute and will one day be a wonderful actress!! :)

Dude, no kidding! When I was in Cleveland my "uncle" and my cousin treated me to that movie at 10 at night on friday. That was an amazing movie.. I kept my parents up... 10 minutes <_< ..explaining it to them. My mom told me that after I explained it to her she wants to see it even more now. I dun think we should talk about it too much, though.. KrazyChik, we might spoil it for anyone else that wants to see that movie. :P ;)

You have to see it, hermionefan. I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie. My "Uncle" bought popcorn and passed the bucket towards me, I could hardly even eat it. I had my hand buried in the bucket and just..let it stay there I was so focused on the movie
And I guess so, Arc.. Isn't that funny.. I forgot now how it ended <_< ..Wait, I thought it was happy?

I liked it alot ^_^ but to tell you guys the truth o.o ... I liked the original better ;)

Actually, I never saw the original...I'm always like that. I'll see the sequel to something and be all like, "That was the best!" Then someone'll be like, "Don't you know there's one before that?" And I never know these things <_<

i so wanna see this movie! but i don't get to go to the theaters often - it'll prolly have to wait :(.

can't believe so many poeple on here have seen it already......wow! but i'm glad to hear it's as good as i was hoping for it to be.

and meridae, it's a re-make of the same movie... not a sequel ;) . i've never seen the original either, but isn't it from like i dunno, very long ago :P. (someone tell me which year please :D 1930s? )

Meridae - July 6, 2005 05:09 AM (GMT)
Ouuuch, burned SA, I'm burned! Sequel, remake whatteever..same thing... :D But anyways..... I'm just lucky I got to see it. I'm so poor and broke I never go to the movies. Bah. Curse their high prices past matinee times!!

KrazyChik - July 6, 2005 05:12 PM (GMT)
Yes, The original War of the Worlds was made in 1953. But before that in the 30's it was a play on the radio...I don't know how interesting that would have been... People must have had a very good imagination back then!!

I liked the ending it was happy for me...Typcial ending though...The movie was ver perdicatble...And I have not seen the first one!! :)

The movie prices are really expensive!! LOL..We went to the matinee...But the matinee is $5 and the night show is $7...Which is not worth it because if you want to get popcorn and and a drink that is another $10!!!

Early showings never work for me...I'd be falling asleep trying to watch the movie.. And yeah, movie food is so expensive. It's terrible. Sometimes I've just brought my own candy and shtuff. And I agree.. people must have had awesome imaginations if it was on the radio...
