Okay, who else thinks Ginny rocks?
Coldfire - June 1, 2005 03:25 AM (GMT)
Oooo I like Ginny :D Even though I still don't think she is meant to be with Harry, no matter what anyone says :P
Jewelz - June 1, 2005 03:35 AM (GMT)
Hey... Didn't you see my old sig? the one w/ the reasons why it should be HG and a threat to jinx anyone that disagreed?
Coldfire - June 1, 2005 03:54 AM (GMT)
Nah, I'm not worried; I have shields up just for that purpose, lol :P But I won't say anything against them if you don't want me too..... lol
Jewelz - June 1, 2005 03:57 AM (GMT)
I don't mind... too much... Besides, I enjoy arguing.
Back on topic. Ginny really does rock, even if Harry is having a hard time seeing it.
Coldfire - June 3, 2005 06:41 AM (GMT)
I think Harry has a hard time seeing much when it comes to the opposite sex, lol :P
Jewelz - June 5, 2005 01:02 AM (GMT)
I totally agree!!! He's such a typical guy!
Coldfire - June 7, 2005 04:51 AM (GMT)
Lol ya he is.... Eventually they learn to grow out of it :P
Jewelz - June 16, 2005 01:45 AM (GMT)
Honestly, they really never do...
angelsflame265 - June 20, 2005 03:29 AM (GMT)
Hmmm I thought this was about Ginny, not Harry and Ginny . . . .
Anyway! We didn't really know Ginny before the 5th book did we? I mean we met her in the 2nd book, but never really heard her speak her mind or anything like that. What was your first impression of her in the 5th book? Surprised? (that was mine. . . :ph43r: )
SiRiUsLyAdDiCtEd - June 21, 2005 06:21 AM (GMT)
well, i wouldn't say we didn't know ginny before the fifth book. granted, she was more in the background, but already in her first year at hogwars she was very important.
i'm re-reading all the books right now (i'm on the second one at the moment) so i don't remember all the details of book five very well and can't give a good answer to your question,
but Ginny does rock!!! :D
i'm convinced we'll see her more often now and i'm thrilled about that!
she's on the team now, YAY for Ginny!
Coldfire - June 21, 2005 06:39 PM (GMT)
Lol when we met her again in the second book, I thought it was pretty funny how she was so accident prone and shy around him :P
Jewelz - June 22, 2005 04:22 AM (GMT)
Oh, lord.... reminds me of how I used to be around guys... *shudders*... but let's not go there.... But yeah, Ginny's my fav. female character!!!

I think Ginny is cool!
Its true, she was always the one that hung around in the backround, but in the last 2 books(and the second movie),she has come out and shown everyone that she does actually exist.
I mean i didnt really think about here being in the books until recently, but she does exist and she is a pretty cool girl.
GO GINNY!

I think she's cool. Harry don't deserve her....

I love Ginny. Though I think that she becomes popular a little to quickly. She went from a quiet sweet little girl. To dangerous little butt kicker over the time span of a couple books.
I'm glad she and Harry get together in book 7.
Hey has anyone noticed that Potter boys seem to fancy red heads?
realhermionewholovesron - August 9, 2007 03:52 PM (GMT)
so pleased harry and ginny get together at the end but wished she's appeared more in number 7!
marixoxella - August 10, 2007 12:05 AM (GMT)
I love Ginny! I actually really was obsessed with Hermione at the beginning of the series but then when I slowly saw Ginny mature and get older, I leaned more towards her. I don't know, her attitude is just really cool, she's a real fighter when it comes to boys and all the sibling drama! I LOVE HER!

OMG I so love Ginny! I was her for Halloween last year!

Spoiler
Ginny is my favorite character. From about the third book I knew she and Harry would get together. I held my breath through the whole Cho phase, but I had a feeling it wouldn't last. Please don't hate me for what I am about to say because I think she is a wonderful character for her own sake, but I knew she and Harry would get together, because that way he officially joins the Weasley family, becoming Ron's brother not just his best friend. The can be said for Hermione entering the family through Ron. It all fits together perfectly. And bless JK Rowling for not breaking our hearts. But this page is about Ginny right. So I think the evolution of her character was perfect. Especially in light of what she says to Harry about Hermione telling her to see other guys and loosen up when she is around Harry. That is exactly what she does. She goes from victim to vixen, but her spunk is always appearent. She has had to be tough with so many brothers. She is only shy at first around Harry. Ron remarks upon it. But the books follow Harry so for a while we only see the shy Ginny. Then she takes Hermione's advice and gets a life and a boyfriend and a voice all of a sudden. Personality changes happen that way if fueled by a big event in one's life. Which for some people getting there first boyfriend is. So Ginny blossoms at the end into my favorite character.

Yeah I've said this several times.
Ginny is one of my favorite characters, and I am quite happy with the outcome of her and Harry's relationship.
And I pretty much agree with everything that you've said.^
