at the end of the third triwizard task, harry is faced with a riddle. wat did u think the answer was?
here it is:

I thought dementor... they're hooded, so live in disguise, u neverr kno wat they'll do. ur soul would be the last thingto mend, if they suck it out. they suck happiness out by kissing, and uhhhhhh or ummmmm is the sound i make when trying to think of a word. sometimes i SCREAM like u would if u saw a dementor... make sense?

Oh, no no no. Sorry, i meant when the sphinx asks him at the ebd of the maze, u kno... to get to the cup thing he needed to answer it. And the answer was spider.
i was asking wat u thought it was, before u knew the real answer.

i dont remember what i thought it was, but i would never hav figureed it out!

I think I thought it was some sort of creepy creature that only Hagrid could love.... Like those things that blew fire and looked kinda like scorpions/crabs or whatever.... But then I realized that couldn't be it, cuz it didn't fit the riddle properly.

but yeah, i hought that the very first time i read it... then when i reread i thought: DEMENTOR!

When i first read the "Which creature would you be most unwilling to kiss" part i thought, well duh dementor!! But then i thought...tells naught but lies...do dementors talk? No..or at least they havn't yet so i knew it was wrong, but also couldn't figure out the answer.

i sorta guessed it was a spider cause i heard the riddle before but ne way....

Where did you hear it before you read the book fishy?

You know i thought spider might be it too..but again they can't talk (sept that huge one that i can't remember his name right now :P ) but anyway that led me to think it was wrong.

It would have given it away, sept the answer wasn't dementor, that line was just thrown in there to make everyone think it was something else. I mean the dementors can perform the kiss of death, wouldn't that be enough for you to be most unwilling to kiss it?

True, but the first part makes it clear that it can't be a dementor, cuz I was thinking thief or something I believe... You know, I don't think I ever thought it was a Dementor..... weird lol....

With the "creature you'd be most unwilling to kiss" (or whatever it was,) That just seemed to be a logical answer, though it didn't really fit with the other clues.

I actually got it right. I thought it was pretty easy. The hardest part to me was "the last thing to mend" but when I read the next line about middle of middle and end of end, it made perfect sense...

My guess woulda been James Bond. Because he has slept with so many people who knows what hes caught. Plus I mean I thought spy since he hardly ever told the truth unless it was his name.

I actualy got it right!! I love riddles and this one was simple.I didn't get the first part about the spy thing but the middle of middle and end of end was simple. For the er I just thought of what the first part was and the third part came to me. lol . then once I got der the kissing part helped me to get spi. Hence spider.

I thought it was Middle of Middle (D) and End of End (D). This made DD which was also read as, Death Dealer which always lives in disguise, tells naught but lies. I referred kissing as a marital connection and because of that, I really thought that anyone who marries a death dealer would be drained of their life because they would have lived all their lives with a fake. But seriously, spider???

I was thinking like an undercover agent from like the CIA or something. Though of course that's not quite right...
