Logan Devonwood - July 10, 2008 03:02 AM (GMT)
**About this thread. It's the complete opposite of your personality. Just for kicks, post here and see how your characters would react if their personalities were to take a complete 360**

Logan quietly walked through the corridors of Hogwarts. It was almost 10 o'clock am, and yet it was eerily quiet. He had already been up for a few hours, studying in his favorite spot, the library. Logan had been brushing up on the history of magic, after all, he wanted to make sure that he was completely prepared for the test later that day.

Logan was a fairly meek Ravenclaw student. He had his friends, but he mainly kept to himself. He was fairly attractive, even if a bit scrawny. He had blonde hair, brown eyes, and a great smile when he could manage it, but he wasn't overly confident. Therefore, any contact with girls was kept to a minimum as he lacked any skills in the area of flirtation. Though those skills aren't nearly as useful as the ones learned in Defense against the Dark Arts, he thought to himself.

That morning he was dressed in the traditional school get up. Long sleeve white shirt with a blue and silver tie, black dress pants and shoes, a vest, and of course the long black velvet robe with the proud Ravenclaw emblem sewn right on the front of it.

Proud of his early morning accomplishments, he wore a grin on his face as he continued walking through the hallway clutching a stack of books. Keeping his head held high, Logan didn't notice the bump in the rug and tripped, completely falling over, books spilling out of his arms. "Nice move..." he muttered to himself, hoping that no one noticed.

alrerretta - July 10, 2008 03:15 AM (GMT)
Alfie had been out all night and couldn't wait to get to bed. She had desided that she would get that boy Logan if she could to get her notes for the classes she would miss after all he had the same classes and if she played her cards right she might be able to rap him around her little finger.

Alfie was dressed in a halter top and mini shirt, with her Griffindor Robe over it. she didn't want the teachers to tell her again about her way of dressing.

As Alfie got near the steps she saw Logan trip. "Nice one." Alfie said and then remembered that she wanted him to do her a favor.

getting up close to Logan Alfie smiled I'm so sorry that you fell, here let me brush you off so the dust doesn't make you look untide. Alfie then said, "Oh I was wondering if you could do me a favor? I'm not feeling to well and I was thinking of going to the hospital wing, and I was wondering if you could, (Alfie then started straighting Logan's tie) if you could take notes in class for me?"

CassieWink - July 10, 2008 03:21 AM (GMT)
Cassie Jordyn had been writing in her journal by the lake simply being by herself outside on her special rock. She had found it a few years ago when she started school and it was tucked away under a willow tree. Standing up she streched for a moment and sighed. It was time for her to go inside, she had been out there for a few hours now. Carefully making sure her spot was hidden she moved through the grounds and made her way to the castle, opening its large doors and going into the cooler air.

Cassie was known as the sad quiet girl. At least no one knew who she was. No one knew how she ended up in Slytherin with her quiet manner and kindness to anyone who ended up crossing her path. But unofrtunately no one ever crossed her path. She was a pretty girl with medium length red hair in beachy waves and bright emerald eyes. But her eyes were normally dull and even described as sad.She was intelligent, masterng the area of potions especially and was altletic having surfed for many years in privacy. she often wore a pair of wire frame square glasses that suited her face nicely to mke her journal a secret. She had bewitched them herself.

The morning she had chose to take a different path she had been walking in a new hallway. She had on the traditional Slytherin girls blouse and tie, but had worn the boys pants being simple because she liked them better. Her cloak was draped in her bag and her head was stuck in her journal re-reading something or the other. So when somone tripped she was the last to notice. The next thing she knew she was flying through the air and landing painfully on her stomach books flying everywhere. Looking up slightly she saw a boy facing her. her sad eyes met his then pushed herself to her knees and began to collect her books. Oushing the glasses up on the bridge of her nose, She saw the girl Alfie start to communicate with Logan and simply was silent hopinh they wpuldnt notice.

doratheauror - July 10, 2008 03:49 AM (GMT)
Melie Heartwood sat in the Great Hall, with the bordest look on her face. the potions professor was lecturing her about cheating on a test, or so she thought anyways. Melie had blocked him ages ago, instead she was picking at her nail.

'Can I go now?" Melie asked impatiently standing up and leaving before the professor had a chance to stop her. She sauntered out of the hall, her shortened school skirt bouncing as she walked. Looking at Melie one would wonder if the sorting hat had made a mistake sorting her into Gryffindor. She had as many buttons undone on her shirt that she could possibly get away with, her tie was never tight, and she wasn't the nicest person around. In fact many had been certain that she would be sorted into Slytherin, including her parents, both proud Gryffindors.

Eventually Melie found herself running into a group of students, Logan amongst them. He was kind of cute in that shy way, and Melie knew that most of the girls had big crushes on him, and he was totally oblivious to it all. Instead of walking over to the group, Melie hung back and leaned up against the wall, watching with a small smile on her face, as Alfie tried to sweet talk her way into some free homework.

Logan Devonwood - July 10, 2008 03:55 AM (GMT)
Logan rubbed his eyes and saw a girl in front of him. He thought he had seen her around. I think her name is Cassie. A slytherin, though he didn't really see any mean characteristics about the girl. Obviously embarassed and slightly out of his element, he said nothing and went about collecting his books. That's when he heard another female voice. He gulped and turned his gaze and saw Alfie. As much as he hated to admit it, Logan was very intimidated by the girl.

At first she criticized him for falling flat on his face, then the next thing he knew, she helped him up. Still holding on to his books, he carefully listened, though still completely afraid. She was asking for his help with schoolwork. More appropriately, asking him to take notes for her.

Too afraid to deny Alfie her request. "Oh-uhm-well I uh- I su-suppose I could help you out, Alfie." He stuttered. "I guess I could make a copy of mine later on." Logan finished. "I hope you feel better. Terrible thing it is, b-being sick." Logan, you're rambling again, his mind told him. Instantly he stopped talking, and jotted down a quick note on his hand to remember to give the notes to Alfie. He glanced back to Cassie, wondering if he should talk to her or not. She seemed just as meek as he was. But did he have the nerves? That's when he noticed Melie Heartwood.

Gulping again, he managed a meek smile. "H-hey Melinda." He greeted. Logan didn't know the girl all that well, but they had exchanged words a few times before. Though he'd never say it, he though she was attractive. And she thinks the same of you...not! As usual, his conscience was working at full capacity to keep him down to reality.

Emma Potter - July 10, 2008 04:12 AM (GMT)
The crowd parted infront of the Ravenclaw Prefect, everyone going to the side of the walls as she walked through. Flipping her hair over her shoulder, she walked through towards the group, already targeting Logan. Stopping short of everyone, she said loudly, popping her bubblegum. "Oh My GOD, Alfie is tying Logan's tie. That is sooo cool." she said in her own very ditszy, stupid way.

Laughing at the idea, she wondered how someone knew how to tie a tie before blowing another bubble and spinning her blonde hair. "Oh my god it's raining!" she said looking out the window and realizing for the first time that day it was raining eventhough it had been raining for the whole day. "Like OMG!" she cried out.

alrerretta - July 10, 2008 04:32 AM (GMT)
Alfie noticed that Logan seamed a little uneasy so she stepped closer.
She liked it when boy where uneasy. Then Alfie saw Logan looking at Melie who just happened to be in Alfie's house. Alfie couldn't stand the thought that Logan had turned his attention away from her so being the kind of girl she was she said, "how would you like to go for a walk after dinner?"

Alfie loved playing cat and mouse with the boys, and seeings Logan said he would give her notes on the classes she desided to throw him a piece of cheese.

When Emma the Ravenclaw Prefect showed up Alfie just smiled.

Scarlett was dressed cut off shorts and a tee-shirt with her red and gold tie hanging loose down the front. Her school robes were crumpled under one arm and she was riding her broom hell for leather down the hallway through the knot of girls surrounding Logan. "Yeeeeeeehawwww, giddy up and get on out of here you harpies!" She said giving the rebel yell. She brought the broom to a screeching halt right in front of the crowd. "Climb on if you wanna get saved," Scarlett said holding her hand out for Logan.

Emma Potter - July 10, 2008 05:52 AM (GMT)
Emma blew bubbles with her gum, watching as Scarlett flew over head. "Oh my god Scar that is such a good accent, like it's so real. How did you learn to fake one that well?" she asked innocently looking at the girl on the broom. People always commented that Emma should have been in Huffelpuff because she was very friendly and had a lot of friends mainly because she was loaded and was left with a lot of real estate so eventhough she was beautiful dumb blonde, she still had a ton of friends. "Oh my god Melie, luv the outfit." she said with a smile.

CassieWink - July 10, 2008 12:04 PM (GMT)
Cassie stayed on her knees watching everything going. There she was at the center of it all and still unnoticed. She gave a soft sigh and flattened out the bump in the rug. She didnt want anyone else to trip it. In all honesty the girl Alfretta somewhat scared her, Melinda intimidated her and she just naturally shyed away from people like Emma and Scarlett. Rather she shyed away from all people. She continued to move her hands around the floor, picking up her books and loose quills. As she leant foward to get the last book, her journal she noticed it was by Logan's feet. She grabbed it quickly avoiding looking at anyone. Standing up she slung her backpack over her shoulder, still covered in Australian stickers, and adjusted her shirt and pants. Then she swiftly turned around and began to walk out of the now crowded hallway.

Logan Devonwood - July 10, 2008 01:09 PM (GMT)
OOC: I'm not sure if what I wrote in the first paragraph was god-modding, but if it was tell me and I'll change it :)

BIC: Now Logan was completely out of this element and didn't quite know what to say or how to react. Alfie was offering to hang out with him. Alfie! "I-uh...go for a- uhhh-you a-and-errm" He gulped, not knowing what to say, and that was when Emma and Scarlett came along. Emma scared him. Not because he was intimidated, but because of one time they had in the common room. She thought being a Ravenclaw meant that she could actually fly. In a moment of panic, Logan had locked all the windows, and tried to convince her that ravens didn't fly so nothing bad would happen.

"Uhhh," he managed even further tongue-tied, he looked at Scarlett. Logan normally didn't mind Scarlett, aside from the fact that he hadn't quite figured her out yet. Tempted as he was to grab a hold of her hand, he was starting to have some type of social anxiety attack. Looking down, he saw a silver key on the floor, and noticed Cassie walking away. He picked it up. "Oh um, C-Cassie? Y-you dropped a key!" He shouted, hoping the girl would turn around. He would've ran with the key to her, but he was too afraid that he'd trip and fall.

doratheauror - July 10, 2008 01:26 PM (GMT)
Melie watched as Emma showed up next. The blond Ravenclaw really did get sorted into the wrong house Melie thought. Because weren't Ravvies supposed to be smart and intelligent? Maybe the hat really was broken. A moment later Melie was startled by her cousin Scarlett showing up. Now there was insanity on two legs as far as she was concerned. Melie couldn't even believe that they were related, in fact she had even denied it once, when a first year Gryffindor had asked her. Of course she didn't do it too nicely, she growled at the girl and threatened to call a werewolf if she didn't leave Melie alone.

"God these people can be so transparent at times," Melie mumbled to herself. She watched Logan pick up a key and call after the Slytherin girl walking towards Melie. He really looked paniky, she wanted to say something to him, but didn't. She waited to see what unfolded.

Emilie wandered slowly through the halls, pausing every now and then to shift her books from one arm to the other. She had been sitting outside by the lake for the past few hours reading through her textbooks and writing her potions essay.

She was a very quiet, shy girl. She spent most of her time alone and studying. She only spoke if she absolutely had to and payed very close attention to the rules. She was a few inches short for her age and had long brown hair and green eyes.

She was dressed in the typical Hogwarts uniform, but had left her robe in her dorm. She had the sleeves of her white shirt rolled up a few inches and her tie was a little loose. Her hair was pulled back in a sloppy pony tail and a pair of beaded earrings dangled from her ears.

Eventually she came to a group of students, some she recognized and others she didn't. She wasn't really interested in stopping to chat, but she didn't want to be rude and try to shove through them. But what if they were annoyed by her presence? She didn't want to bother them. She could always turn around, but then they might think she was afraid of them and then she would end up the source of everyone's jokes for the next few weeks. She stood a few feet away from the group, trying to decide what she should do.

ladeeknight - July 10, 2008 08:42 PM (GMT)
Scarlett stared a moment in disbelief at Emma. How could anyone be that dumb and still remember to breath in and out?

Then Scarlett turned back to Logan. She liked him because he was quiet and he didn’t need to fill up silences with useless chatter. Usually this many girls would have him running for the library hyperventilating, which is why she thought she’d save him, but since he was actually following one of the girls Scarlett figured he didn’t need her help. “Suit yourself,” she said with a shrug. Scarlett didn’t care what they were up to. She didn’t get involved with other people’s affairs.

As Scarlett turned to go she noticed a quiet girl on the outskirts of the group. Scarlett liked quiet people so she thought that if she saw that girl sitting in the great hall she might sit by her sometime.

With a parting scowl at her prim, prickly cousin Scarlett went zipping down the hallway on her broom. Right into Filch. He set up a catterwalling like nobody’s business and gave everyone in the hallway detention.

OoC: Ok I am not sure if Logan wants to do this or not, but I figured it would be a way to throw all of our anti-social characters in a room together where they couldn’t get out. We can always escape when we figure out what that silver key is all about. Logan just let me know if I need to edit.

CassieWink - July 10, 2008 10:24 PM (GMT)
Cassie was swiftly moving down the hallway quickly trying to get away from the crowds. She was very uncomfortable in social situations. Tucking her hair out of her eyes and behind her ears she was nearly at the end of the hallway. Suddenly she heard someone calling her name. She was suprised that someone knew her name. She froze in place debating whether to go back or simply leave the situation. Quickly making her decision she turned around slowly, walking foward towards Logan. She rarely spoke, not in class, not ever. Only at home. It was partly because of her incredibly strong Australian accent and fear that others would mock her. The other part was that she never had anyone to talk to. Grasping the object he handed to her, she turned it a few times in her hand letting out a sft hmmm. For the first time in a long time she spoke, in a voice barely louder than a whisper. "This key is not mine. Its... different"

alrerretta - July 11, 2008 12:02 AM (GMT)
Alfie was getting upset by all the people trying to keep her from her goal.

As Cassie was crowling around on the floor Alfie saw a book that Cassie seamed to want to hide so Alfie made a mental note to get that book nomatter what.

Seeing that Scarlett had gotten Lagons attention Alfie wanted to Jinx Scarlett but thought better, She didn't want to get detenjtion yet again. Her parents hadn't forgave her for the last time.

When Alfie looked back at Logan she found that he was following after Cassie and that was when Alfie used her wand to get the book from Cassie. She would read it and use all she found out about Cassie againest her. Then Alfie caught up with them and said, "Logan you didn't answer my question." Looking at Cassie Alfie gave a growl as if to say (who do you think you are, you shouldn't talk to anyone that I talk to.)

Alfie noticed the key and grabbed it then said, "I have been looking for that Logan, it was so nice of you to pick it up for me. Now how about it will you take a walk with me after dinner.

Alfie had desided that she would not let up until he said yes he would.

All of the sudden Filtch showed up and gave those that where still hanging around in the hall near where Scarlett was and gave them all detention. Seeings that Cassie, Logan and Alfie was a way down the hall Filtch didn't see them.

Emma Potter - July 11, 2008 12:05 AM (GMT)
Emma was still quite intrigued by the rain and the only thing that stopped her from staying intrigued was Filch's yelling at her to move, and finally taking her by the shoulders and marching her off to detention. "What's going on?" she asked in her Minnie Mouse voice. "I have lawyers and I am not afraid to take this to court." she said as firmly as she could, still not knowing what was happening and only saying that because it "sounded" intelligent.

Then it dawned on her when Filch walked her into a dark room and was about to turn on the lights. "Oh my god! You guys are throwing me a birthday party!" she screamed excitedly, smiling at Scarlett. "Aww you didnt have to. It's so sweet." she said.

ladeeknight - July 11, 2008 02:02 AM (GMT)
"God Emma!" Scarlett said exasperated. "I don't enve think your birthday is for a couple of months yet. And you are not getting detention either, get on." It wasn't really a question. Scarlett made a grab for Emma in an attempt to pull her on the broom. Scarlett then executed some brilliant acrobatics which sent her gliding by Filch and toward Logan, Alfie and Cassie. If Scarlett did get detention she wasn't getting it alone.

Logan Devonwood - July 11, 2008 02:40 AM (GMT)
Even more intimidated by Alfie, he froze, and broke into a nervous grin. "Uh s-sure." He answered finally. Though to be honest, Logan wasn't sure why she was being so nice to him outside of asking for homework. Turning back to Cassie, his smile faltered a bit. "Oh, oh. I'm err- s-sorry for making you walk out of your way." He noticed just another girl from Ravenclaw. Emilie her name was. They hadn't truly spoken more than a soft "sorry" when they bumped into each other on the way into the dorm.

That was when he heard Scarlett and Emma rushing over to them. He was almost wishing that he had taken Scarlett's offer when he had the chance. Logan's legs began to shake at the knees. He wasn't used to being surrounded by so many people, not too mention this many girls. Meekly, he turned to Scarlett, and with pleading eyes, asked, "S-so can w-we t-tak-ke off n-now?"

alrerretta - July 11, 2008 06:23 AM (GMT)
When Logan looked at Alfie and said that he would take a walk with her after dinner she smiled and then Scarlett flow up to them. Alfie had heard all the noise Filtch was making and desided that she and Logan needed to get out of there. As Scarlett came up and Logan looked at Scarlett Alfie grabbed Logan and pulled him through a secret passage. Scarlett wasn't going to get her into trouble.

"Well Logan if I where you I would get to class. I'll see you after dinner, if not before." Alfie headed toward the hospital wing and as soon as she was out of sight she went to her room in the gryffindor tower. "I'll take a quick nap and make sure that Logan doesn't get side tracked." Alfie said to herself.

Emma Potter - July 11, 2008 12:51 PM (GMT)
OOC: I'm so confused on whats going on lol..

BIC: Emma jumped on Scarlett's broom, and wondered if anyone had noticed Filich. She hadnt checked to see what kind of model the broom was, but most brooms could take a lot of weight because they could carry packages, so why not humans. She was naturally athletic, being the chaser on her team so for once in her life she looked pretty normal and smart.

"Outside." she said, pointing towards a door that led that way, "Like Filich (she doesnt know his name) cant get us if we're out there, y'know." she added, trying very hard to explain her reasoning to go outside.

CassieWink - July 11, 2008 08:16 PM (GMT)
Cassie stared at the key intently until, her mind in a haze. She pocketed it quickly looking around. From what she had heard Filch was coming and everyone was trying to escape. Her mind was going into overload in the social situation. She was never around this many people at once and interacting with all of them was macking her sick. All of a sudden her book was stolen right out of her hand. She nearly began to cry but held it in. She loved that book, needed that book. Then Alfie gave her that look that made her blood cold. She wouldnt mess with that girl.

As everyone began to leave Cassie began to feel something new, something strange. she was angry at Alfretta. Walking towards the girl she said a little louder, but not too loud. "Please gve Me My Book Back" she said. These were the most amount of words she had spoken in years to these people. She tucked a hair behind her ears and looked at the girl with a half pleading/half asking look.

Logan Devonwood - July 12, 2008 03:33 AM (GMT)
Logan gulped and just nodded. Once he saw Alfie turn a corner, he bolted out of the secret passageway. He had no idea why the girl was being so nice to him. Just the week before she had been making fun of him all through History of Magic. He passed by Emilie, Emma, Cassie, and Scarlett as he booked it through the corridor. Soon enough, he passed by Mel, hoping to make it to the library before any type of panic consumed him!

Luckily for the others, Logan had gotten Filch off of their backs, because he was now hunting down the nervous Ravenclaw. Please don't let him look in the library! I've never been in trouble and I intend to keep it that way! He quickly sat down at his favorite table, and opened up a book keeping it close to his face just in case someone should come in looking for him.

He trembled as he tried to sort out the ongoings of the morning.

alrerretta - July 15, 2008 05:02 AM (GMT)
Alfie ways laying in her bed unable to sleep, she was thinking about how mean she was going to be to Logan when her mind told her that she wasn't being good at all she should leave logan alone but then Alfie told her mind to shut up.

"I think I'll get the notes and then get Logan to do the work. If he does i fast enough I will not make him to go into the forest I'll just tell him that I'm too tired to go for a walk and let him go. After I insult him that is." Alfie then laughed to herself.

ladeeknight - July 22, 2008 10:44 PM (GMT)
Just before Scarlett ducked out the window with Emma on the back of her broom, she saw Alfie take Cassie’s book. Scarlett was the kind of person that was slow to anger, but once you got her going she never let go of a grudge. Scarlett officially had a grudge. “Hang on Emma we’re goin’ for a ride.”

Scarlett began a straight up spiraling pattern headed for Gryffindor Tower. Scarlett let the broom hover outside her open window. She waited quietly while Alfie laid down. Scarlett was amazed at her luck, but Alfie didn’t go to sleep. Scarlett waited a little longer and then finally said, “Accio Cassie’s journal!” Cassie’s book came flying to her hand. Scarlett snatched it out of the air and flew off cackling madly.

Emma Potter - July 23, 2008 01:01 AM (GMT)
"Umm ok.." Emma murmered as she flew along with Scarlett, looking down every time they got a floor higher. She had never realized how high up the Gryffy Tower was. "What are we doing?" she asked innocently while they floated outside of Alfie's window. She didnt get it at all until Scarlett accio'd the book. "Yay book?" she said confused. "Why do you have Cassie's book. It's hers, not yours." she said, trying to have justice.

alrerretta - July 23, 2008 02:02 AM (GMT)
As Alfie laid on her bed she noticed that the book she had librated from Cassie tly throw the air. As Alfie watched she said, "Oh well easy come easy go. There are always other ways to do what I like."

Alfie knew that she could just scary Cassie and that would be fun for just a little while, but fun never the less.

Then Alfie remembered how Logan looked at Cassie. "Well well I think I'll go and be nice to Cassie. Maybe I can get her to go for a walk at the same time I am to meet Logan. They seam to have the same problem and then I can embaress them in front of each other."

Alfie let out an evil laugh.

CassieWink - July 23, 2008 02:13 AM (GMT)
Cassie had not moved from the spot as everyone left slipping behind a curtain until Filch left. She was sad without her book and was worried as anything at the same time. It help her deepest secrets and some of those people in the school People tended to believe she was invisible and therefore felt no need to stop their conversations when she came around. So she knew the deep secrets. But the book also held her own feelings and her drawings a hobby she kept a secret. She watched out the window as Scarlett flew out with her book. She watched it helplesslynow fearing the worst and slid down the wall hugging her knees and adjusting her ponytail.

Logan Devonwood - July 24, 2008 06:11 PM (GMT)
Quivering, Logan elected to venture outside of the library once more. He straightened himself up as much as possible, and walked down the corridor. Luckily for him, class wasn't for a while. He had just always liked being prompt. Therefore, he was an hour early back when he tripped. Being extremely cautious, Logan didn't see any of the original crowd in the hallway. Must've been off to get ready for class, he decided, bless his naive mind.

Logan did spy Mel still standing in the hallway, but he chose to pass by, hoping he wouldn't be roped into any more extra work. However, he did notice the quiet Slytherin girl from earlier, hiding behind a curtain. He went back and forth in his mind trying to decide whether or not he should disturb her peace. Eventually, the hidden chivalric part of himself took over, and he pulled the curtain out a bit.

"H-hi Cassie." Logan hoped that he had gotten her name right. "S-some morn-ning we've had huh? Are you alright?"

alrerretta - July 24, 2008 06:33 PM (GMT)
Alfie was getting bored of her room. She just couldn't sleep so she desided to go and see what might be happening around the school she could always say that the nurse told her that she needed to get her mind to wonder a bit and think of nice things and ways to be nice.

The story could be that Alfie was having trouble sleeping and thinking because she had been pulling too many pranks.
