Title: Monkey Trouble
Description: Litterally...

Alex.Ray - July 1, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
Alexander-Ray was taking his first trip to the lake because, well, what else was there to do really? With Izzie wrapped around his arm, hanging by her long brown tail, he laughed at her as the Monkey wound her way onto his head. The trip to the lake itself didn't take as long as he expected considering how far off it looked from the castle's owlery. But, he supposed that was all about perspective. Izzie started banging on Ray's head as if playing invisible monkey drums wherein you hit the top with the ends of banana's and pray to the gods that your drum doesn't break.

As the playful little monkey started binding it's way back around his arms, Ray saw her expression at the tree by the lake and gave her a nod as to say 'go ahead'. It didn't take more than that nod to get the monkey going, and with that Izzie was in the tree and throwing various acorns at swimmers for the sheer entertainment of it. Ray didn't laugh, even though the looks of the slightly bewildered swimmers were quite funny.

Emma was in the middle of swimming, doing laps around the lake when an acron plopped into the water next to her. Finding it odd, but nothing to worry about she kept swimming until another one came near her again. "What the..?" she said outloud and looked around until she saw a monkey in a tree throwing them.

Laughing, she looked around, trying to find where the monkey had come from or who was its owner. Finally she spotted a boy, "Is this your pet?" she called out.

Ray looked out at the girl who had called out wondering about Izzie and nodded vaguely aware that she was speaking to him. "Yeah, I apologize. When she finds something fun it's best to leave her to do it." He said with a slight smile. It wasn't exactly what one would call a friendly smile, but he didn't know who this was who was speaking to him, so it was mightily to be as friendly as he was ordered to be. Ray found himself sitting by the water with his shoes off and his feet engulfed in the water not an instant later.

Emma smiled at the boy, "It's no problem. I've seen worse." she said with a grin as she began to walk towards him out of the water. She whistled softly and saw as her greyhound, Leala came running over to her. "Hi, I'm Emma." she said politely, sitting down near the boy, except she was sitting on a rock that was several feet from him. "I heard you're in Gryffindor." she said, starting to make conversation.

Ray gave another pleasant, but only slightly friendly, smile. And of coarse, a laugh erupted as the monkey in the tree got slapped out of it for breaking a branch. Issie tumbled into the water and a few acorns were pelted at her as well. "Well, thats one way to finish that isn't it?" Lex said. Hearing the girl introduce herself he nodded. "I'm... Well, Alexander-Ray. But most people call me Ray. Or Lex..." He looked over at Izzie who had started swimming. "The name situation is confusing..." He said.

"Yeah, Gryffindor. Brave and true... Or something of that variation..." He smiled. "Though I haven't met anyone from my house yet so..." Lex noted her prefect badge. "And I see you're Ravenclaw Prefect? That must be... Entertaining..."

Sabrina had been in the middle of floasting in the water when an acorn hit her in the head. She ognroed it seeing as no more of the hit her but she opened her eyes whern she heard a whistle. She saw Emma dnRay at the water's edge.

"Hey guys! How are ya'?" she asked them as he floated over to them.
