In the past...
Chase moved through the wizarding fair and towards the table of the Gypsy witch. He had been taken in and captured in the grip of her eyes and with no way out he would have to go shed a few sickles. Thinking that it was harmless didn't help the situation in itself either. This was how he was celebrating the graduation of Hogwarts life. By holding a fair. But the crowd was growing restless and starting to leave the Manor's yard. They would all be out of Hogwarts by the end of the night and seeing as it was only lunch, he had some time.

Chase never made it to Hogwarts graduation.

In The Future...
The black dog jumped over a fallen tree in the forest and found his way out. A bright blue flashed across the top of the sky and, though he was unable to see the color, he could tell that everything had gotten brighter. Many of the tags that had inhabited the Grim had fallen off or been taken off and now all that lay around his neck was a single one saying something about Gryffindor. But it was to faded to read anything else. How long the dog had been there was unclear. The Grim howled and the ground under his feet shook with his furry body. No matter where he went he was who he was. The Grim.

His destiny was clear and there was no way around it.

And now...
It had been five and a half years and everything was still the same; but worse. He had a mere hour every day in which he could be himself, and even so he was still without company. He lived in the forbidden forest and now not even the Professors felt safe going in because he was luck. Bad luck. Chase looked at his watch. "Three... Two... One..." And there he was. The Grim; The Lab; The Luck. A Thestral walked by and upon seeing the Grim froze. Chase let out a low snarl and the thing ran away only before he heard footsteps. Footsteps? A student. Callie. At least someone pittied him enough to have a look every once in a while. He saw a slightly small hand leave something on the ground and then the footsteps turned into running and they ran off. He was glad she didn't come close. Lucky for her; not for him.

Emma Potter - June 27, 2008 08:06 PM (GMT)
The streets were busy, and Emma barely just escaped through the on-going traffic, in to much of a rush to wait for the red light. She was in the heart of London, and had just left St. Mungo's to meet a friend in France. First though, she had to stop at home and change.

10 Minutes Later ----

Emma had just apparated in front of her friend's doorstep who also came from a magical family. Lizzy had talked for weeks about a carnival that finally came to Paris, and that Emma would love it, though she doubted that because of her fear of clowns. Yet, she walked up to the doorstep and rang the bell, waiting for her friend to lead her into her nightmare.

"Ready?" Lizzy came busting out, with a 2 year old in a stroller.
"Unfortunately, yes." Emma replied, and apparated to the carnival site with her friend.

Luckily for Emma, the whole place seemed to be clown-free and it wasnt that bad of an afternoon. She had played a few games, beating Lizzy easily in all of them, and by the time they began to head back she was carrying a huge teddy bear in her arms like an 8 year old little girl.

She had one more ticket, and as she walked by a gypsy booth, she decided to use her ticket there.

"Wait Lizzy." she called out, as she turned and walked up to the booth, handing her ticket over to an older woman who wore huge glasses with one of the frames missing.

"Hi..?" Emma said, now more skeptical on her choice of booths. At first the gypsy lady didnt reply and just kept on staring straight ahead, but then she turnd her head slightly upwards to look at Emma.
