I wonder... Padma thought. Should I find an occupied compartment or not? It really wasn't a hard decision but still...
She did not know anyone else. She would simply have to grin and bare it though, there being no empty compartments, she opened the closest one to her. Inside were a few people, and one empty place. "Is this spot taken?" She asked.

Katie was sitting in her compartment when a new kid opened the door and asked if the spot was taken. "Nope, come on in." She said "Hi im Katie, gryfindor, and you would be?" Katie asked smiling

Dream was on the train for the second time this year and as she was stuck in an almost full compartment she remembered why she hated being on it so much. There was an odd smell coming off one of the girls and Dream shuddered to even start guessing what it was. She saw Katie across from her and wondered if her friend could smell it too. She was just thinking about leaving to find another compartment when the door slid open to reveal a new first year girl asking if she could sit inside. Dream looked at her carefully and hoped that this one was sane because lately it felt like their school had been overrun with crazy first and second years. "Yeah sure. Come on in." she told the girl with a smile.

"My name is Padma." She replied. " I'll be in Ravenclaw." Padma carefully stored her things away and sat down beside Katie. "So, how are you lot?" she inquired...

Sabrina had managed to find a compartment finally that wasn't as full as the others.

"Where's all the slythyerins in here?" then she grinned at the two new students.
"hey. I'm Sabrina Parlay, fifth year Slytherin. and you both are?" then sabrina noticed dream and smiled encourageuingly.
"Hey dream," she waved, seeing as she was on the end of the seat..

"Hi I'm Katie nice to meet you sabrina." Katie said leaning over and smiling at the newest occupent.. "Yeah im good..." she replied to Padma then added "Hey can anyone else smell that?" she asked as she looked around the compartment smelling the air.

"Hmmm," Padma took a moment to sniff the air. "Ewww."
Padma took down a bag and looked for her perfume. " And I am Padma. A 1st year Ravenclaw." I smiled at Sabrina.

Sabrina sniffed the air and then gagged.
"ugh. you got some perfume PAdma? OR do you want me to use mine? Mine spemmls like you're in a candy shop." she poined out and smiled.

Her father and mother were always so good at ginving her gifts.
"but I love the vanilla one that i got, the most." she told them.

"Depends. One of mine smells like Sweet Pea the other one like Linens and Lemon." Padma replied. "Either way, someone MUST spray something."

"Alright thats it." Katie said grabbing the one of her perfumes out of her bag and spraying it. "ah thats better." She said sighing as a lovely fruity fragrence filled the compartment. "Hmm wish i'd used one of you guys perfumes, i dont mind this one but a candy shop smell would of been nice. Speaking of candy, you guys want some lollies?"

Remy opened up the compartment and looked in. "hey is it alright if i sit with you guys? the compartment i was in just got umm well i rather now say how but its not habitable at the moment" he said as he brushed his hair back. He then saw the new student and smiled "hi im Remy" he said as he shifted from one foot to the other.

" I am called Padma." She replied. "I am a first year Ravenclaw."
Padma cocked her head to one sideand gave a bit of a awkward smile.
"Well, atleast the smells gone. Come in before IT does."

Dream smiled at Sabrina as she watched the Slytherin girl walk into the compartment. She was relieved when Katie sprayed some perfume in the air, effectively removing the god awful stench that had permeated the compartment. She was about to tell Katie that she would love a lollipop when the door opened and Dream's favorite person walked in. "Hey hubby!" she said happily as she scooted over to make room for him to sit down beside her. She hadn't had a chance to introduce herself to Padma yet so she took the opportunity to do so now. "I'm Dreamy." she said cheerfully as she looked at Katie's lollipops again hopefully.

Katie pulled out a lollipop for herself, and started sucking on. Taking it out fpr a second to say hi to Remy she noticed the hopeful lookes dream was giving her. "Yeah alright here you go Dreamy." she said as she handed the bag over. "Anyone else want one, before Dream takes them all?" She asked as she looked around the compartment.

Remy looked at katie and her bag of lollies and shook his head. "no thank you im not in the mood for a lollie at the moment but thank you for offering" he said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a newspaper and began reading it looking for the comics page to keep him in a good mood.

Padma rummaged through her bag for the copy of The Quibbler, which was purchased as a gift for her. However, before she could open the cover the trolly came into view.
"Anything off the trolly dearies?" The old lady asked.

Remy smiled as he heard the familiar sound of the trolley lady. He waited to see if anyone was going to get anything as he himself thought about the thought of getting someting. At the moment he had no craving for anything sweet but he had no idea if the others would want some sweets so he waited to see if anyone else would ask for some sweets from the lady.
