Michael went inside the bathroom. He was panting and gasping. It seemed as if he had a nervous breakdown but he wasn't. It was just one of those days.

He took a pill from a vial he carried with him and drank a bit of water. He stood there for a moment looking into the mirror. An image of himself but darker stood before him.

"You know I'm coming out sooner or later. You can't hold me for ever you know", the dark one spoke.

"YOU'LL NEVER GET OUT! YOU HEAR ME!", Michael said punching the mirror and breaking it. He only hoped no one would hear that. He then stumbled his way over to the wall and slid down to the ground. He sat there still, sweating as if he had been excersizing for a long time. He lay there still trying to breathe more slowly.

Remy walked into the boys bathroom to brush his hair. He walked up to the mirror and noticed it was broken then he heard some gasping coming from somewhere to his side. Remy turned to look and noticed michael just sitting there sitting on the ground and sweating. Remy did a quick look around the bathroom and noticed one of the stalls was open and quickly put one and one together and without a second thought he pushed a button to make some fresh deodorizer eat away bad smells. "hey you alright" he said looking at michael.

Cassie had been walking past the boys bathroom, plannign something when she heard gasping from the inside. She pressed her ear to the door not wanting to go in if it was a prank. Suddenly she heard the mirror break and burst through the door. The first thing she saw was Remy then Micheal on the ground. Though Cassie wouldnt ever admti it she had a concious. Shr raced over and kneeled beside him. "Micheal...come on bud. You ok" she asked. It was probably a little hard to udnerstand with ehr accent and the speed at which she said it but whatever

Henry was walking around the third floor, and he heard some screaming. He walked into the boys bathroom, and saw that it was Michael. He saw Remy and.....Cassie in there too. He walked up to Michael. "Hey Michael you ok?" He was guessing that he wasn't ok.

Michael's eyesight had gone out of focus for a moment, he could not see the people before him. Cassie had knelt before him but he could not recognize her, and his hearing was distorted. He felt like it was a serious case of disorientation. He closed his eyes and rubbed them quickly. He then opened his eyes and started to make out the figure of Cassie who was right infront of him. Remy was standing near the sinks and Henry had just come in.

He looked at them all occasionally glancing from one to the other.

"I'm... fine just give me a sec", Michael said, just then a sharp pain in his head made him fall down and he moaned a little. The sharp pain returned once more, this time much more intense, he screamed and then collapsed on the ground.

Remy looked on as cassie came in the boys bathroom and shook his head "thats 10 points from slytherin for entering the boys bathroom" he said shaking his head. He saw henry come in as well then heard michael scream out. "Henry i'll stay here you go and see if you can find either alfie or emma tell them its an emergency and i need them in the boys bathroom."

Cassie kept a close eye on Micheal trying to ignore Henry's presence. "You sure you're ok" she questioned him as he seemed to gain reform. Suddenly Remy's voice broke through and Cassie whipped her head around for a second. "I onyl came in here because I heard him yell and you and idiot boy over there have done nothing. So fine take away points see if I care" she snapped at him, nto meaning to be as nasty as she was. Suddenly Micheals scream sent her attention back to him. As he collapsed she supported him with her arm. With her free hand she searched in her back. "Where is it...ahha" she mutered taking a small vial out/ It was from one of her experiments gone aray. "Micheal I know you cant hear me but Im giving you this potion. its to kep your heart rate steady and beating" she said pinching his nose and forcing it down his throat. She felt somewhat bad but waited for Alfie or Emma to get here.

Remy looked at cassie and shook his head "thats another 10 points from slytherin and if you dont leave now i'll give you detention" he said as he pointed his wand at michael and watched as the potion cassie had tried putting into him floated out harmlessly out of his body. "dont do that again" he warned her.

Michael said that he was fine, just that he need to be given a second. Remy told Henry to fnd Alife or Emma, and that it's an emergency. "Ok I'll do just that."

OOC: How do I actually do that, do I PM them or what?

BIC: Cassie then forced a potion down Michael's throat. "Hmmm....maybe that will help him a little. Who knows?" Hopefully it would help.

Henry then saw Remy basically tell Cassie, not to be in their any more and to leave. "You better leave if I were you Cassie. You don't want to get into trouble."

Cassie gave Remy her death glare and stood up. "Fine Remy. Once again you have to exert your massive power even when you are wrong and may lead to the harm of a student. I hope your happy with yourself. And Im going to leave but I am taking Micheal with me. because I care about people unlike you." she said snappily. She bent down and with all her strength lifted Micheal into the air and began to walk out of the bathroom. "Bridge open the door please" she asked Henry becuase both her hands were full.

Cassie tried to leave, and take Michael with her. She asked him to open the door because her hands were full. "No Cassie. And I'm not going to let you take Michael with you either. If you leave by yourself, without Michael then I'll let you leave otherwise no. Henry was guessing that she would try to get past him, but Henry wouldn't let her.

OOC: Cassie, if you take Michael with you then this thread is basically done.

Emma ran up the steps, 3 at a time onto the boys bathroom floor with 2 second year Ravenclaw boys following behind her. They had heard screaming and ran to get her.

"Ok boys, I'll take it from here." she said to them and tried to open the door but felt someone blocking it. She tried again several times, before she leaned all her weight into it and opened the door, half flying into the bathroom.

"What is going on!?!" she said loudly, looking at Cassie carrying Micheal who looked horrible. "Cass put him down, and keep his head propped up." she said quickly, and looked over to Remy. "What happened? Was someone making a potion that went wrong or something?" she asked as she walked over to where Micheal would be put.

Cassie sighed as she felt someone press upon the door. "Bridge I swear..." but before she had time to finish Emma flew into the room. "Oh thank god." she muttered placing Micheal on the ground and supporting his head with ehr arm. "Dont ask him" she snapped at Emma. She was extremly angry at Remy art the moment. "These...didnt do anything" she said stifling an awful; curse word and pointing to them. "MIcheal seems to be gainiang and loosing strength at a rapid pace and his mind is wacked at the moment. He collapsed after a solight regain of strength." she explained. "And he broke the mirror."

OOC: cassie please post realistically how do you know he broke the mirror.....for all you know the mirror was broken by anyone, we do have many fights in there and i hear some people even play pranks.


BIC: Remy saw emma walk in and smiled. "It seems Michael here had something bad to eat and now has a stomachache, well at least thats what it looks like to me but i know you are more skilled at this kind of stuff emma so why dont you take a look at him and maybe you can tell what is wrong with him" he said as he got closer to emma. "i dont know what cassie did but she tried slipping him an unknown potion luckily i was here to take it out, but some of it might stayed in his body" he whispered softly so emma would know what had happened.

Emma told Henry and the other guys, that she'd take care of the rest. "Ok. Thanks Emma. I needed some more help with this."

Emma thought that maybe a potion went wrong. "Could be who knows?" Henry then looked at Michael. "Did you drink a potion or something Michael?" Wondering if he'd tell him.

Cassie then said to Henry, "Bridge I swear..." Henry then responded with, "What? WHat do you swear?" Wondering if she was going to do something to him. Henry then had a thought, that maybe she thought that he broke the mirror. "What? Do you think I broke the mirror? Because I didn't!"

Remy thought that Michael most of had a stomach ache of some source. Then he thought that, Cassie gave him a unkown potion and then it did something to him. "Ya Remy, you're probably right. So this is just a freak accident?" If it was, this would be a lot easier and quicker to solve.

Emma began to try to think of what was going on with Micheal, which was hard to do over Henry's whining and Remy's accusations. She appreciated it all but when she heard what Remy said. She looked over at Cassie for a second.

"Guys, Cassie is one of my best friends and I know she likes to play pranks but I highly doubt she would play a prank that would hurt somone the much. I think this has something to do more with what Micheal did." she said.

Micheal was sweating, and if he had a fever, he should drink water. She knew several other ways to help get rid of a fever but none of the ingredients or things she needed where available to her right now. She looked around, and realized what she could do.

"Remy can you get Micheal a glass of cold water. The girl's bathroom have glasses so I'm sure the guys do to." she said before running over to the sink and turning on the cold water and wetting a towel she got from in the cupboard below the sink. She then walked back over to Micheal and applied it to his wrist, neck and forehead.

"Micheal, talk to me. What's wrong? Does your head hurt, stomach? You might have a fever so I'm going to try to cool you down with water and a wet towel." she said explaining what was happening and trying to see what condition he was in.

Emma said that she knows that Cassie plays a lot of pranks. But that she doesn't think Cassie would play a prank that would hurt someone this much. Henry looked at her and nodded. "Ya you're probably right Emma." Henry then looked at Cassie. "Sorry for accusing you Cassie. I don't think it was you anymore."

Emma thought that it it was just a stomach ache, headache, or something like that that was wrong with Michael. But Henry doubted it, he thinks that it was something much bigger than that. "I highley doubt it Emma. It's probably something bigger." He then looked at Michael. "Tell us what's wrong. We'll be able to help you, I promise."

Michael was trapped between conciousness and the dream world. He could faintly hear the voices of his friends in the bathroom but no matter how much he wanted to answer, he could not. He could feel like his head was being split into two. He was in pain but his body would not react beyond the sweating. His eyes were gazing to the nothing. He was frustrated and in pain. Once again the voice spoke.

"It is time my friend. It is time", the voice inside him said and he suddenly found himself standing before a figure. It was himself, but different at the same time. His face was paler, his hair messy, he was dressed in black clothes, and he was laughing like a madman.

"Too long I've been kept at bay, too long have I been in slumber. But now the time for entertainment has arrived", he said.

"Who are you?", Michael asked still in pain.

"I'm, your darker half. The one who will do what you won't, and say what you won't. I'm the bloodlust, the vengence, the fear and the anger... I am Scythe", he said.

Just then Michael's eyes sparkled red and then back to normal, but he was still non responsive. His heart was racing and he was slightly shaking.

Michael then began to talk to his darker self. Supposedly his darker self is named Scythe. Henry then looked at Emma a little afraid. "Uh Emma....what's going on? Is Michael going crazy or something? I think that we should go get a teacher maybe." Henry was hoping that Michael wasn't going to hurt anyone, or do anything like that. Just in case, Henry moved back a little.

ooc: henry i think micheal is having this scene played out in his mind

bic: Remy finished brushing his hair and put his hairbrush away then looked at michael and from his groans knew it was probably more than a stomach ache. "Lets move him out of the bathroom this place is probably just making him worse" he said as he held the door open. He knew he had to enforce the rules no matter who broke them and having micheal still in the bathroom meant cassie was breaking a major rule by still being in there.

Cassie nodded slightly. She cracked her knuckles and lifted Micheal again setting him down in the hallway, after some cvareful manuevering of the door. She quickly pulled a plain white pillow out of her bag and tapped it a few times with her wand, ridding it of the curse. Prank pillow. She lifted Micheals head and placed the puillow underneath. "Ok Emma do your stuff" she said standung up and leaning againsdt the door. Suddenly an idea came to her mind. She wabed her wand and murmered something. A green lcoket came flying at her and she slipped it over her neck wordlessly.

The most curious sight greeted Scarlett as she rounded the corner in the hallway where the bathrooms were. Cassie was physically carrying someone out of the boy’s bathroom while Henry and Remy stood idly by watching her. How strange, thought Scarlett until she saw Cassie lift the person’s head to lay a pillow underneath it. At first Scarlett was not entirely sure that it was Michael so maniacally twisted were his features. But the color of his dazed eyes were an unmistakable blue that Scarlett could deny. Scarlett rushed to his side trying to keep her panic under control. “What happened?”

Remy said that they should probably get out of the room, to make things better for Michael. Henry thought for a brief moment. "Ya, you're probaly right Remy let's get out of here." Henry began to walk out and looked at everyone else. "You coming Scarlett and Cassie?" Henry continued to walk out of the room some more.

Emma began to block out everyone's voices as she followed Micheal out of the room. She really didnt know what people thought she could do for him, especially since she didnt know what was wrong but she could try her best. She had just sat down next to him on the cold hard floor when Scarlett came over, her urgnecy clearly coming through in her voice.

"I dont know." Emma said, hanging her head slightly at the fact. No one knew what was wrong with him. "I'm doing my best though, but I think whats wrong with him is more in his mind than his body." she said to Scarlett softly.

She quickly took out her wand and summuned an old box from her dorm room that she usually kept hidden under her bed. It had all types of potions and when it came to her in the hall way, she began to search through the potions, picking out the Draught of Peace, Dreamless Sleep Potion, and the Anti-Posion Potion (yes those are all real HP potions). Emma debated what to use, Draught of Peace helped calm down a person, Dreamless put them into a calming sleep and anti-posion helped get rid of any poison the body.

Emma was extremely careful with her choices and what she used, knowing that this was one of her good friends and one of her best friend's boyfriend she was treating. Finally she chose Draught of Peace and opened Micheal's mouth, titled his head up and allowed the potion to pour out into his mouth. "Hopefully this will calm him down and if not, well..let's not worry about that yet.." she said, not wanting to think about what could happen if it didnt work.

Remy watched as emma and the rest began to help michael and he stepped back to give them space. He really wasn't so good at healing people so he was only in the way at the moment. He looked around and knew a confused student would be alot of trouble so he took his wand out and held it loosely in his hands, if anything happened he'd stop it before it began.

Henry saw Emma poure a potion into Michael's mouth. Henry wasn't sure what the potion was. "Hey Emma what is that potion?" Henry was sure that Emma knew what she was doing, Henry was just wondering what the potion was. Hoping that it would help him out.

Remy took out his wand, and Henry gave him a look. He wasn't sure if he was going to start a scene, and/or do something stupid. Henry took out his wand as well and held it in his hand. If anything happened then Henry would stop it.

Michael was now like out of himself, he could watch himself on the ground. Scarlett was there too now, Emma and Cassie were trying to help him while Remy supervised. He didn't want them to see him in that state but apparently it was too late now.

Emma took a potion and gave it to Michael. Scythe began to laugh histerically.

"A sleeping potion eh?", Scythe said with a big smile that looked almost demonical. "Time to sleep Mike, I'll take it from here".

Michael's eyes began to close, he was falling asleep, he was trying with all his might to stay awake but it was no use. He then went limp. He was sound asleep, if he woke up there was a probability it would not be him. Something triggered Scythe's appearence but there was nothing Michael could think of that might have caused it. And now that he was being captive inside his own mind, there was no way he could do anything.

Scarlett watched Michael’s eyelids close anxiously. The absurdity of watching him sink into sleep in the middle of the hallway, even with the kindness Cassie had shown him in the guise of a pillow, grated on Scarlett’s fraying nerves. “Now that he’s asleep can we move him to the hospital wing. I hate to see him lyin’ here in the middle of the hallway,” Scarlett pleaded to Emma.

OoC: I don’t think we need to start another thread just rp the move. That is Emma if you think it’s safe.

Remy nodded his head thats a great idea i trust that these halls have been cleaned up but i rather have him in the hospital as well. I'm sure its a lot more sanitary than this hall" he said as he stared at michael. He put his wand back in his pocket and looked at the girls and henry. "I am going to walk ahead a bit and make it so the coast is clear and no one else see's michael like this and then either gets all scared or begins making up rumors as to what happen to him" he said as he hurriedly walked away.

Hearing Remy’s acceptance of the idea was suddenly enough for Scarlett. She didn’t want anyone else to see Michael like this either. She really didn’t want to be seeing it herself. “Windgardium Leviosa,” she said tenderly as she swished her wand with the utmost care. Michael’s limp form rose as evenly as she had hoped. She waited for Remy to get a bit ahead her so he could scout a clear path. Normally Scarlett would take out the Marauder’s Map to help out, but this wasn’t just luggage she was floating around today. Michael was much more important than that. In fact, Michael had become such an important part of her life that it didn’t even seem strange to Scarlett that there was something more important to her than her clothes.

Emma rose, trying to calm down her own heartrate that was racing, praying that she did the right thing with the potion. She followed behind Scarlett, checking behind them to make sure no one was folllowing or coming this way. They gradually made their way to the Hospital Wing which for some reason felt like it took forever when really it was only a few minutes.

Stepping in front of Scarlett, she held the door open so Scar could get Micheal situated in a hospital bed.

Scarlett settled Michael carefully in first empty bed there was. It had been very nerve wracking levitating him through the castle. He stayed still and quiet the whole time. Michael was often still and quiet, but now it was in a helpless sort of way made Scarlett want to weep. She had to do something with herself or she would surely start screaming. Scarlett moved to stand at the foot of the bed and slipped Michael’s shoes off, and set them on the floor at the end of the right side of the bed. She pulled the blanket up to his chest and loosened the crimson and gold uniform before undoing the top button of the crisp white shirt that he wore. Almost as an after thought, Scarlett leaned over and brushed her lips across Michael’s, half hoping to “wake the prince.”

Remy walked into the hospital as soon as he made sure the area was clear then he looked around if he could see if any of the healers were in the room. He did not see anyone but he knew emma was no newbie when it came to such things so he did not worry to much. He headed towards an empty bed and jumped on it and just looked on to see what would happen next.

Michael was fast asleep, he did not wake, nor made a sound. He laid there as still as a rock. His mind however, was deep in a pool of confusion, frustration and sadness. The other one was desperately trying to tie himself with his conciousness and no matter how hard he was trying, it wasn't making things work. It was now only a matter of time for Scythe to come forth and there was no telling what sort of nightmare he would bring with him.

Scarlett brushed a stray lock of hair off Michael's forehead and then backed away from him. Her brow was creased in a worried frown. She moved to the bed that Remy sat down on and climbed up to sit next to the Slytherine Prefect. Scarlett brought her knees up to her chest and encirled them with her arms. She hoped it would disguise how much her hands were shaking.

Emma had gone over and gotten 3 glasses of water, and put two on the bedside table next to Scarlett and Remy in case they wanted any. She was as nervous as all get out and her stomach felt like it was eating itself which she was hoping the water would help get rid of the feeling. Grabbing a chair, she turned it around backwards right in front of Micheal's bed and sat there, staring at him, her arms and sometimes her head resting on the back of the chair which was in front of her.

She had no idea what was going on with him, and was only hoping what she did was the right thing but she wouldnt admit this to the others.

Remy grabbed a glass of water and drank a little of it. "hey emma you have any idea what happen to him" he asked without stopping to think. He stared at michael and smiled thinking that he looked so peaceful in his sleep that it must mean that whatever was wrong earlier had just gone away on its own.

Michael drank a sleeping potion and then fell asleep. Henry then saw that Michael was being leviated to the hospital wing. "This is a weird way to get him there. Oh well, at least it's working." Henry then began to follow Remy, to make sure the coast was clear. "I'll help with lookout too Remy."

Emma looked at Henry oddly when he said something about lookout. No one was on lookout. She was quickly becoming convinced that Henry had been mistaken by the Sorting Hat or something, because that was no traditional Ravenclaw. Remy asked her what she thought Micheal was doing. "I dont know. The potion is acting correctly but its up to him to wake up." she said quickly.

Remy looked out at the hall and spotted henry keeping a lookout still and shook his head. "umm good job bridge but you can stop now i think the coast was clear, why dont you come over here and join us" he said as he waved the ravenclaw over to where he and the girls were.
