Cassie Jordyn was not one to believe in luck. She always believed that pushing your hardest and succeeding was what life was about. Well that all changed when she recieved a letter from her mother. Now she knew there was luck in the world, only it wasn't good. Being the nosey woman she was Cassie's mother had found out that Cassie's friends had been taking people home to their hometowns. Getting together with Emily, Khai's mom, the two decided unbenownst to their children to invite all their friends to Sydney for a summer break. The fathers were not so happy when they found out due to training scedules and no one would know how choatic things could be.

KNowing that the two teenage surfers would not approve the mothers sent letters out to all their friends inviting them to stay in Sydney with them and signing it Khai and Cassie. The Jordyn/Jacoby Family Cassie only found out that morning when she had recieved a letter from her mother tellintg her of the...lovely suprise planned out. That led to a near complete destructuon of the Slytherin Common. She stromed into her bedroom, she was already packed. She had no idea why her father would approve this then thinking of her mother she realized he didnt. Sending out a quick text to Khai knowing he would already know, she got her lugagge and her board packing up a few essentials.

She made her way down the lake area where there were portkeys set up for everyone. She knew some people would meet her in SYdney if she didnt meet the portkey, this was mostly for Logan and Emilie two of her closest friends who both had met her parents before hand. She sat on a flat stone by the lake waiting for everyone to show up, luggage around her. "Bloody Brilliant" she murmered to herself secretly cursing off her mother in her mind. She hated these...little suprises. It was worse than the time hger mom decided to paint her room pink for a day to see 'How she liked it'. She saw someone coming ahead and waved weakly trying not to run away.

Khai was almost as excited as Cassie was for this awesome trip, meaning he was dreading it as much as she was. Their parents were embarassing and strict and a little...unconventional. Plus the whole team was going to feel weird about it. As he sat in his room his phone went off as his mind still dwelled on the awful situation. It was from Cassie, a small sympathetic note to which he sent a quick reply. They guys on the team were going to kill her fort this. It was tough being a girl captain on a nearly all guys team. He sighed and knew it was time to go.

Making sure he had everything packed he grabbed his luggage and left Hufflepuff tower walkign to the grounds. The air felt ominous although that could have just been his nerves building up on him. As he reached the lake he saw Cassie sitting there. Placing his luggage down next to hers he sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her. "I know it sucks LSG but we will get through it." she said with a chuckle letting go of her and waiting for everyone else to show up. But his mind was centering on all the bad things that could, and probably would, happen.

If it was anyone else, Emma would have refused politely. The summer was the time for her to be with her sisters in their home country of France. She worked over the summer, and tried to catch up with all of her french and muggle friends. However this was different. First it was to Sydney where Emma had never been. Second it involved Cassie, and naturally curiosity was getting the best of her.

Her dorm room was packed up and Leala trailed by her side as she walked down to the lake, a blue and silver duffel bag slung over her shoulder that was enlarged inside to carry all of her things. With every movement, several traveling tags of France and England that were attached to the strap hit each other.

"Hello guys." she said, leaving out the "Thanks for inviting me" part. Emma figured they had not planned it since Cassie could have just told her in class or at lunch that she was invited.

Cassie hugged Khai back, grateful that he was going through the same mind torture. The thoughts were killing her by the moment. Standijng up she rifled through her purse until she found her phone. SHe chuckled at Khais text before dailing her mom. "Just wanted to thank you again for doing this to us" she said her voice dripping with sarcasm before slamming the phone shut and placing it into her bag. The guys on the team were going to kill her for this. Time for the drill team Cassei to come out she thought chuckling to herself.

Suddenly a figure came through. Emma. Thank gods. Someone she knew she could have fun with. She smiled weakly as Emma approached. "Hey Ems...." she began not knowing what to say. "Sorry bout this. Its my lovely mother. I invited the twin down for a while, they're meeting us there. I have some...things to work out with them" she said hugging her friend which stiffling a snicker. She smirked at Emma. and sighed. "This is going to be very interesting"

Sabrina had gotten thje invite and was planning to ask Cassie what she should bring when she heard chaos in the common room. She decided to stay safe and just pack by herself, using her knowledge of what she brought the last time she stayed with Cassie and Khai for the summer.

Sabrina threw her swimsuits she would need, Emma's sunscreen, random assortments of shirts and shorts, some jeans hereand there. Some socks, flip-flops, undies, bras, the wholenine yeards and finally minimized it.

She put the siutcase into her pocket of her jean shorts and she pulled on her purple hoodie over on fo her 'red-eads rock' themed t-shirts.
She smiled at her footwear, converses. She hadn't worn them in a while, so she was glad to see them again, seeing as they had been buried in her mountain of clothes she had in her dorm room that she shared with Cara, Ankaa, and Olivia.
She made sure she had her purple cell phone and she wore her hair up in a ponytail. Another act of randomness surely. She hoped she would not be a botheron the trip, as she walked out of the dorms.

She thought about who else could have possibly been invited as she approached the lake and had forgotten that Khai would be there; a stupid mistake.

She had all of her beack essentials in her siutcase too, she tried to let her mind wander instead of looking at Khai when she walked up.
"Hey guys." she waved and smiled, though she felt her heart ache. This was going to be some vacation.

Emma was surprised that Cassie invited the twins. "Your practically a saint." she said with a grin as she hugged her friend, rolling her eyes slightly when Cassie mentioned business with the twins. Once she stepped back, she acknowledged Khai. "Hey, I havent seen you around here much.".

With her back turned to the castle, she heard Sabrina's voice. "Hey Sab." she said, turning around to face her friend. Slightly bored, mainly because she had the attention span and patience of a 2 year old, she sat down on the ground and played with her dog while chatting with the others.

Scarlett received Cassie’s owl and did a little re-packing. Scarlett has always wanted to visit Australia. And this was the perfect way, staying with a native. She knew how busy Cassie got in the summer so she decided to pack a ton of beach lounging magazines so that Cassie would not have to baby sit her.

Scarlett showed up levitating two rather large trunks behind her. Bella road on one. It had been a huge decision on Scarlett’s part to take Bella. Scarlett knew that Cassie had dogs and the Bella chased, fought with and occasionally ate dogs. But Scarlett just could not bear to be away from Bella for an extended period of time. There had been a long lecture, some hissing and many threats of a port key home. And so Bella looked a little sulky from her perch on the widest trunk.

Scarlett let her bags rest gently on the grass and greeted everyone around. “Hey y’all.”

Michael was tidying up his bookshelf when all of a sudden a small brown owl entered through the window to deliver a letter. He opened it up and saw it was an invitation from Cassie. Michael picked up his suitcase and placed it on the bed. With a flick of his wand all his clothes and things went inside the luggage perfectly folded and organized. He was used to packing on the fly so it was only a matter of seconds before he was ready.

He then headed out of the common room and walked down to the lake where everyone was standing. He approached Scarlett first and with a kiss on her cheek he said hello to her. He then turned his attention over to Cassie, Emma, Sabrina and Khai, who he had not met.

"Cassie, thanks for the invite. Hey Emma, Sabrina", Michael said then turning to Khai. "I don't think we've met, my name is Michael, and you are?".

Leo definitely needed to get out of the castle, so when an invite to Australia jumped on her lap, she was only to happy to accept. She quickly packed the Gryffindor trunk full of clothes and entertainment, not forgetting to pack massive amounts of sunscreen, even if it was winter in Australia, all that sun couldn't be good on the unprotected skin. She ran down to where she was supposed to meet everyone and waved.

Henry walked out of hogwarts, to the grounds. He was very excited for the trip. He saw Emma, Sabrina, Leo, Michael, Scarlett, Cassie and Khai. He waved to them all. "Hey everyone. You all excited for this aswome trip?" Henry knew that that was a probably a stupid question to ask. Of Course they were excited, why wouldn't they be excited.

Emma watched as several more people joined them, and before they came over to the group she said to Cassie jokingly, "They must have heard I was going.". She waved to all of her friends, and held onto Leala to make sure her dog didnt scare Bella. She stayed sitting on the ground, petting Leala behind her ears.

"Gosh Scar, didnt feel like using a enlarging spell." she said with a grin while looking at Scarlett's two huge pieces of luggage compared to Emma's small duffel bag. Oh well, everyone was different. Henry then arrived, and Emma waved to him and let Leala go to sniff and greet everyone. Looking up at Cassie, she asked not even bothering to be serious, "So does this mean I get to come to your practices and be the annoying cheerleader chick?". ( :P )

Allis was appsalutely extactic when she recieved Cassie's letter. She really wanted to go to Australia because she hadnt ever tried surfing before and this was her chance to try it.

While Allis was packing it felt like takeing a really hard test because she didnt have a clue what to pack. She debated about it for fifteen minutes then finaaly desided.

As she was walking outside she grew more excited but played it cool. "Hey guys!" She said. She noticed while holding Rainbow tht she was already sleeping. It was shocking because she almost never sleeps.

Henry then saw Emma's dog . "Hey Leala." Henry crouched down on the floor and began to pet her. "Who's a good little dogy?" Henry then looked at Emma. "Hey Emma, is Leala coming on the trip with us?" Henry was hoping that she was. She is such a cute dog. Henry continued to pet her in peaceness.

Cassie watched as More and more people showed up. this was...ok she guessed. The more people came the less ehr mom could torture individually. "Hello Micheal, Scarlett, Sabrina, leo, henry, Allis" she greeted them all with a small smile. "Great for you all to come to this....lovely summer retreat. once everyone arrives I will go over the emergancy procedures" she said with a chuckle. "And sadly enough I am not kidding" she commented sighing and placing herself on the rock after going over and giving everyone a hug. "I can't promise you wont get maimed, humilaited for die. but I can promise an...interesting summer trip" she finished

"A voyage with a chance of death. My kind of voyage", Michael said with a grin. "I'm not joking either".

Michael turned a bit and Serra was there, she was determined as always to follow her master everywhere he went. The only one more headstrong than Michael was Serra.

Khai stood behind Cass watching as everyone showed up he didnt reconize a few off the people but when the guy introduced himself he smiled. " Khai...Jacoby. I'm with the firehead" he said jerking his thumb toward Cassie. He simply waved to everyone else. "And most unfortunatly these emergancy procedures will need to be used on a daily basis unless the mother take a liking to to you or find you so repulsive that they wopnt stand by you" eh said with a chuckle. He made his way over to Emma and chuckled at her joke. "I'm sure the guys on the team would like that. Cass is going to whoop them for it though" he said with anotu chuckle

Emma smiled as Khai came over and talked to her. She was kind of sitting in the middle of the group, and nodded to Henry when he asked if Leala was coming with her. She laughed outloud when Khai mentioned the guys liking that and Cassie getting mad at them. "Well then, all the more reason to do it." she said with a grin. "So are you on Cassie's surf team or a different one?" she asked.

Scarlett smiled as Michael kissed her cheek. She squeezed his hand in return. As the introductions were going on Scarlett caught Cassie’s eye and asked, “Do you think you could teach us how to surf?” Scarlett hadn’t even really realized she’d like try it until she found out she was going to Australia. She thought she might be good at it since she had good balance.

OOC: Michael I loe your siggy, Sweeney Todd rules.

BIC: Michael said that this voyage had a chance of death. "Is that really true Michael? Cool." Henry always liked a little risk. It couldn't hurt, oh wait yes it could haha.

Emma nodded, when Henry asked her if her dog was coming. "Yay." Emma then mentioned Cassie's surfing team. "I want to be on a surfing team. I'm a pretty good surfer."

Scarlett asked Cassie if she could teach her how to surf. "I'll teach you Scarlett, if you'd like. How bout it?"

Cassie turned to Emma. "We are on the Junior Nationals Australian Surf Team. Its the 20 most elite juniors in the country. We only have two spots left on the team and we're holding open tryout. I'm Captain. And Khai is my co-captain" she said grinning and poking him playfully. She then turned to Scarlett and with a grin replied. "I'd love to teach all of you how to surf. Its a lot of practice and its hard as anything buts its so much fun" she heard Henry going on and turning to him. "Henry you may think you are a good surfer. But no matter how talented you think you may be. You have nothing on the Worst member of our team. We have all been in training since the day we were born" she said turning to look at Emma and Scarlett with a grin. Perhpas this wouldnt be so bad.

Alfie packed her things and then shrank them. She also shrank Uni, she couldn't leave Uni behind in her condition. Placing Uni in her shirt pocket Alfie walked down to the meeting spot where to her surprise there was a lot of people going on the trip.

"Hi, Alfie said quietly as she reached the spot where Cassie was. Once again she had put a spell around her so NO ONE COULD HUG HER.

"Looks like you have a lot of friends coming to your place." Alfie said as she looked around.

Twyla was really bored one afternoon typing a e-mail to her big sister Tara when a invite zoomed in the window.She read it and smiled.She quickly re-wrote her email.It was a invite from Cassie and Khai to go to Australia.She had only been to Australia once and loved it.She never knew she would have the chance to go back again.She quickly did a little more re packing and then shrunk all of her luggage down into sixe to fit in her pocket.She had her wavy purple hair down by her shoulders,big white glasses,a silver sequined halter,blue jandals and a white layed mini skirt with black leggings."Hey guys"She said sucking on her starburst lollipop she sat down next to the group.

Cassie said that Henry had nothing on the worst member of their team. Henry was insulted. She said they'd be training since they were born. "I've been training ever since I was born to Cassie." Henry said to Cassie somewhat angrily.

Henry then saw Twyla come in. He said, "Hey Twyla." To her nicely.

Sabrina saw more and more people come. She tried to be happy, seeing as she had not known who would be comping. but she perked up when she saw so manmy familiar faces.
"HEy MIchael." She hugged him.
"Hey Twy." she hugged her.
"Hey alf." she only waved.
"Hey Scarlett." she hugegd her briefly. Then she stood back where she was and said, "Who else is coming?"

Scarlett returned Sabrina’s hug and smiled at Alfie while she waited for Henry to quit squabbling with his hostess. “There do seem to be a lot of us Cassie. Are you sure you are gonna have room for us all?” Scarlett tried to imagine a place other than Hogwarts that could house them all and failed. But then she had always pictured Cassie living in a cozy beach cottage, though she had no idea if that was actually true.

Sabrina hugged some people. Henry laughed that Sabrina only waved Alfie. Also, that she hugged Scarlett only BRIEFLY. Sabrina asked who else was coming. "I think a lot of other people are coming. Not sure who though.

Scarlett asked Cassie if she's going to have enough room for all of us. "I"m sure she will. And if she doesn't she can just engrio the house and/or the car.

Ooc: I only read post one so if I'm inaccurate you'll have to deal with that until I change it. Not in the mood to read the pages at the moment.

Bic: Chase had been surfing in the lake when people showed up. He had almost forgotten. Chase didn't know why he was going. This could very well be painful. In more ways than one. He had gone into 'dog mode' and swam back and now could see other people as well. Chase bolted like a flying dog and ended up closer than needed.

Leala had finally walked back to Emma once she was done sniffing out everyone. Emma was facing everyone, chatting along and laughing at the appropriate times when all of the sudden Leala began barking loudly. Startled at first, Emma turned around to see what the problem was when she saw a black lab.

"Ah, the grim has arrived." she said teasingly to her friend.

Michael hugged Sabrina back as she said hello to him and then looked over at all the people arriving. He found a trip to Sydney just great. He wanted somewhere to go and lay low for a while. He never revealed himself as being jumpy or nervous even though he was. His last few escapades had not been as simple as getting in and out clean, this time there was a trail of dirt and he could not afford to be found at the school. Cassie's invitation couldn't come at the best of times. He could forget of whatever was happening in his life and concentrate in having fun with his friends.

"So? Let's get this show on the road", Michael said. He was excited about surfing, he had not done that even though he loved sailing and the ocean.

Lindsey was seated in the Great Hall, eating a quick breakfast before heading to the ROR to swim laps, (Swimming was her official sport.), when a small owl swooped down upon her and dropped off an invitation to spend the summer with Cas and Khai's families. Instantly forgetting about her swim meet, she raced off to her dorm, packed her bags, and jogged down to the Lake. "Hey everyone!" she called, hugging a few of her friends. She then went over to sit next to Cassie. "Thanks for the invite," she said, slightly out of breath from her run.

Sabrina smiled as Lindsey came outside, and Chase showed up in dog form.
"hey chase!" she called out and laughed at Emma when she jokingly called him the grim.

"He looks grim alright." she elbowed Emma and then said, "you got your stuff ready chase?" she didn;t see ay of his things with him.

Michael said to let's get this show on the rode. "Ya, let's."

Sabrina then relised that Chase didn't have his things with him. Henry noticed it too, but wouldn't say anything.

Henry grabbed his surfeboard out of his bag. "Tell me when you guys are ready to go." Henry walked over to the ocean and he began to surf.

Scarlett let out an audible sigh as Henry went over to whatever he had obviously mistaken for the ocean. What is he on? Scarlett wondered to herself as she watched Henry try to surf. Deciding to let her old question drop because she no longer if there was room for all of them, Scarlett nudged Cassie and nodded toward Henry, “I think we’d better go. Apparently the sun is beginnin’ to affect the minds of some of us.” Scarlett did not add that it might be a good idea to go without Henry, as he seemed to be having a surfing summer all on his right here at Hogwarts.

Emma looked back to watch Henry attempt to go surfing on a lake? Except for the fact that there was no waves, it was just still water. Laughing softly, she looked up at Cassie and Scarlett. "You never know what you are going to see at Hogwarts, right?" she said with a grin.

She jumped up, and grabbed her duffel bag, ready to go.

Cassie leant foward and whispered to Emma and Scarlett. "Maybe if we leave fast enough...he may not realize we left and well...my summer would improve with out him" she said with a giggle. Some people she invited still were not here so she sighed. "OKay its time to go my loverly peoples" she called out quietly. "Stand by a portkey and grab it. It shall take you to my street" she said again. "Shrink your stuff and lets go." she said in an almost excited vopice shrinking her own thijngs. Walking over she left a note on the ground along with extra portkeys for those who had yet to arrive.

OOC:The street that that you will arrive on is set on the ocean. It is bordered by huge beach houses. It is about 7PM at night but it is still warm and the sun is setting. A few houses down stands the two largest houses one a light blue and the other white connected by a bridge on the fourth floor. You will arrive in a culdesac at the end of the street.

Henry continued to surf and he looked towards Cassie, Scarlett, and Emma. He noticed that they were about to leave, and he saw some pory keys. "Hey wait for me everybody!" He surfed one more wave, and got off of his surfboard. He went back onto the shore. "Where you all going?" Henry was hoping that he wasn't be ditched, he hated when that happens.

Scarlett shrunk her trunks and grabbed a port key near Michael. She though he looked worried. There was a tightness around his lovely blue eyes that wasn't usually there. She made a mental note to ask him about it later.

That was before the port key dropped her on an idylic street. Beautiful beach houses very unlike the cottage Scarlett had pictured in her mind, bloomed from the sand with the ocean lapping not far away. It was a balmy night and there seemed to be a million stars attending thier arrival. "Wow Cassie, no wonder you are always so moody at school. I guess I would be too if I were dragged away from this."

Emma grabbed a portkey, and felt the moving sensation and ended up falling down right beside Scarlett. She actually landed on her feet this time. 'Woo, 10/10. Perfect landing." she said jokingly, before checking out her surroundings. The sound of the ocean in the background was her favorite thing about it and the most common. Looking around, she waited for the others.

Henry saw Scarlett and Emma leave by portkey. "No wait for me girls." Henry ran over to a portkey and grabbed it. He then ended up landing on top of Emma. "Oh sorry Emma. My bad." He rolled off of her.

"Hey girls. What are we doing here again?" Henry forgot already. He was known to forget thinks quickley than he probably should've.

OOC: You can't do that Henry. You could say you saw you were about to land over Emma and say Heads up! To give her time to react otherwise you're godmodding her character.

BIC: Michael moved towards one of the portkeys and took it in his hands. He had used portkeys before and landed slowly beside Emma and Scarlett.

"You gotta love those things", Michael said and then noticed the street they were in. The huge beach houses looked beautiful and he could already feel the ocean breeze. "This is more like it, just the thing I needed. You think I could rent a boat out here? A speedboat perhaps, we could do some waterskiing".
