OCC: Didn't really know where to put this thread as there's no ministry forum :P

It was a dark chilling evening, silence was contaminating the air apart for an odd hoot of an owl or a scream of a predator catching its prey.
Emily walked down to the grand entrance gate to hogwarts, she was wearing her long black traveling cloak and her Ravenclaw scarf pushed up covering her mouth her wand was held tightly in her pocket and her invisability cloak was screwed up as small as ever in the other. She checked her watch, she was a little early but her oldest and dearests friends should be joining her soon.
Emily turned round to check that her firebolt was still resting against the pillar where she had left it, it was. She looked back up the slope towards the breathtaking castle which was Hogwarts, although she could barley see it due to the fog, she smiled. Emilys life was basically there. Emily then remembered a very close memory to her, the first time she met Dream and Remy. Also there firsts adventure, they were so naive and only first years at the time but they still were as bold and determined as ever to fight there way through. It had been a long time since they had done something this dangerous, as they were now in higher years they didn't really see each other as much as before but Emily just couldn't wait for this new one to start.

Remy landed near the entrance and grinned as he looked over at emily. "Hey emmers" he said as he walked over to her and gave her a huge hug. "It's been way to long since i last saw you" he said as he let go of the embrace then smiled as he looked at the castle. "gosh this place looks different, smaller somehow" he said as he brushed his hand through his hair.

Dream stared at the owl post in her hands with a happy grin on her face. It was from Emily and it told Dream to meet her down at the school's entrance. She couldn't even remember the last time that she'd hung out with her oldest bestfriend. She jumped out of the chair she'd been sitting in and ran over to her closet where she quickly changed into a pair of black jeans and a navy blue cotton sweater. She tucked her wand into her back pocket and grabbed her purse which always held her essentials such as her broom and some potions. She grabbed her broom out of her purse and enlarged it to it's normal size. Then she slung her purse over her shoulder and opened her bedroom window. Without pausing she jumped out of the window and enjoyed the few moments of free fall before getting her broom beneath her and leveling out of the fall. She raced around the castle until she saw Emily at the entrance. To her surprise she saw that Remy was there as well. When she'd almost come to a full stop beside them, she hopped off her broom and landed lightly on her feet. "Hey Emmers! Hiya babe!" she said cheerfully. "So what's the plan?" she asked Emily inquisitively.

"yea em what are we going to do sneak off and explore some secret trail like we did way back when" he said as he hugged dream and made a face at emily. He loved hanging out with these two because he could just be himself. He missed just hanging out with his oldest freinds and today he just wanted to have an adventure like he used to have.

Emily grinned happily as Remy arrived and hugged her, a few moments later Dream turned up she grinned cheerfully at her. They started to ask questions about why she had brought them out here, Remy then joked about the secret trail, Emily gave a little laugh "I'm never going near that place again!" Emily said remembering how much danger and pain they put themselves through, even though she did enjoy the adventure she wasn't going to risk it again.
"no, well I was at the ministy a few days ago visiting my aunt and I over heard a conversation between two people, I had never seen them before. I asked my aunt who they were she said they were new and turned up out of the blue and that nobody knows who they are. Well anyway i heard them saying that at 10 tonight something is going down and something about a break in" Emily said seriously looking from Dream to Remy.
"we have to go and find out who or whats going on" Emily started to look worried "my brother, he does night shifts remember?" she said pausing. Emily then went on "you up for it?" Emily asked "you know i would only ask you two if it was something this serious" she said looking at the pair half knowing that they were thinking the same as her, death eaters.

Remy was looking at the castle still and almost laughed as he heard emily say someone was going to try and break in. He knew emily had a great sense of humor and thought this was just another of her jokes but as he looked up and saw the look on her face he knew this was no joke. He hated to wake up everyone in case it was a false alarm though and with a smile on his face looked at the girls "Well then i think we can handle this on our own no need to worry everyone in the caslte after all" he said as he patted his pocket to make sure his wand and cloak were there.

Dream hugged remyback and kept one arm wrapped around his waist as she turned to look at Emily again. She listened to what Emily was sayin, noting that there was no twinkle in her eye to say that she was joking. In fact all of the signs of Emily lying that Dream knew so well were all absent so she knew that her bestfriend was serious. "Alright so what are we going to do about it? Do we let the authorities know or do we go on a recon mission of our own?" she asked, more than willing to do either.

OCC: sorry guys i havn't replied sooner! been SOOOO busy! im free now though :D

Emily rolled her eyes at Dream and looked at her with disbelief "since when Dreamy have I got the authorties out, and since when have I called you and Remy out and asked you to bring your brooms and traveling cloaks to meet me by the entrance to Hogwarts JUST to tell you that something is happening at the Ministy tonight" Emily giggled you do make me laugh." She then addressed the couple "we should really get going its almost half 7 now and it will take some time to fly by broom" Emily explained tucking her wand back into her pocket and grabbing her firebolt.

Remy nodded his head and pointed towards the forbidden forest and accioed his broom towards himself. He no longer kept his broom in the slytherin dungeons as it was a whole lot safer for it in the forest for reasons best left unsaid. He smiled as he saw it racing towards him and he held out his arm and caught it. He quickly got on it and with a kick of his legs he was soon in the air. "im ready to go" he said.
