OCC: Chase let me use Lisa as my charrie....b/c i am too lazy to think of an original spawn of Leo...
BIC: Lisa flipped her pink hair and boarded the train. There were a lot of people on board she noticed and some of them were burly and intimidating. It didn't take long before she was already getting flack for her hair color. Lisa walked up to one particular heckler and kicked her in the shins before running off into her own compartment wondering if her brother would find her in this train.
5@v3 - June 17, 2008 07:52 PM (GMT)
Clark saw his sister bolt off and took off after her. He saw Lisa kick some girl and then run off and he sighed. Clark apologized quickly to the girl who was now jumping up and down and holding her leg. Lisa was gone when he looked back up, but all he had to do was follow the train of crying or kids who seemed in awe and he would find her. And he did. "Lisa! Just because they make fun of you doesn't mean you have to kick them!"
sailorleo - June 17, 2008 07:59 PM (GMT)
"Yes it does!" Lisa shouted back. "They were making fun of my hair!" Lisa seethed. Her black lap followed the twins shortly into the compartment. He hopped up on the bench and curled up next to Lisa, clearly overwhelmed by all the people..

Jack kissed his Grammy goodbye on one soft white cheek. He supposed most folks probably thought she was his mother for she really didn’t look a day over 30, but he remember his mothers golden curls that could never be mistaken for the raven locks that brushed his cheek as she straightened and patted his head. “Be a good boy Jack and hold your head up. Be proud of who you are and where you come from.”
“I will Grammy,” he said obediently. And she turned to go. No standing on the platform waving for his Grammy. It was just not her style. She was petit and elegant dressed as always in black, today a sharp skirt suit and big black Jakie-O sunglasses even though they were deep in the London train station. He waved one last time and though she didn’t turn around he saw her kiss her hand and flick her fingers toward him in their secret good bye.
Jack picked up his bags and trudged up onto the train. He felt a bit overwhelmed being a bit on the short skinny side. But he was quick. He dodged around some of the bigger kids and ducked into a compartment containing two other kids his own age. The girl had pink hair. He couldn’t help but stare, but he managed to spit out, “My name’s Jack.”
Emma Potter - June 17, 2008 10:45 PM (GMT)
The generations of the Potter/Silvershade family walked one behind each other down the station. Ellie in front followed by her father, Jacob Silvershade, who was followed by his mother, Emma Potter. Emma didnt look a year over 25 and was often mistaken as her mother.
"Jacob, are you sure she has everything she needs?", Ellie heard Emma ask her father. Rolling her eyes, she gave a "Yes Emma", as she scanned the area for any of her friends. Maybe she would spot some of the McCallister's boarding the train.
Turning around, she smiled at her father, and kissed/hugged him goodbye. He looked exactly like the old photos she had seen of her grandfather, Mark Silvershade. It was odd, her grandma, who she called by her first name, never spoke of her ex-husband, only told stories of what life was before her father, and in when he was a toddler, before the divorce. She didnt even know why her grandparents had divorced at the age of 30.
"Goodbye! Love you!" she called out, while grabbing her luggage and with her greyhound puppy, Max, she headed onto the train. Her light brown/blonde hair was put up into a messy bun. She was wearing her favorite pink cami and brown shorts. Her eyes were a magnificent shade of light purple today, thanks to the Metamorphagus powers she had inherited from her grandmother.
She traveled throughout the train, staying quiet until she found a compartment that seemed to already have several first years, one including Jack who she had met a long time ago. "Hello!" she said brightly, as she pulled open the compartment door. "Mind if I join you?" she asked.
sailorleo - June 17, 2008 10:53 PM (GMT)
Lisa looked at the boy who was obviously staring at her hair. "Hello Jack," she said curtly, not pleased with being stared at but kept her tongue. Then a new girl came in, with lovely Elizabeth Taylor eyes and asked if she could join them. "It's find by me," she said trying to be polite, and less like she had a stick up her butt. A little uncommon for eleven year old girls.
Just then a old and really tired looking lioness sauntered from the back of the train. She was well known by the twins and the older students of the school, when the lioness reached the children she morphed back into her human form. As a human, Leo was very aged. Yet she wasn't haggard looking at all. She time had been kind on her, and all the wrinkles she had to her name gave her distinction. Love and her passion for life kept her youthful.
"Your mother wanted me to give you this. Apparently you forgot it." Leo said to Lisa with a twinkle in her eyes.
ladeeknight - June 17, 2008 11:00 PM (GMT)
“Sure, come in,” said Jack politely. His accent was an odd mix of British and American drawl. No wonder since he had learned to speak English, English and then been transported to the South in the States when he was five. His speech reflected the strange path his short life had taken with clipped consonants and soft vowels and the standard habit of dropping his g’s wherever he pleased.
He found himself staring at the violet eyed girl who just arrive. These girls are gonna think I’ve never seen another soul the way I keep staring around, he thought. But this time he had a good excuse. He peered even more closely at Ellie. “Have we met?”
CassieWink - June 17, 2008 11:12 PM (GMT)
A red headed girl walked through the platform calmly, followed quickly by her mother and grandmother. Cassie definately looked older but still maintained her surfing form, as she still did as a grandmother. The three women were spitting images of eachother. All fiery red beachy waves. "Sasha..." Cassie said softly grinning at the young girl. "Mum...must I go to this...wretched place. Why cant I stay in Sydney" she asked her Australian accent like her grandmothers. She even had Cassie's eyes. "Sashka...you must go, you should be lucky to be there" Izzy commented. The three bickered softy for a moment before the three of them shared a group hug. "Miss you" Sasha said softly.
The young girl placed an earbud in her ear and loaded her things onto the platform. She looked around and saw all the kids walking around, She sighed and fixed her hair. She was a beautiful young surfer with her career setting off as fast as Cassie and Izzy's did. Her green eyes sparkled with the sun across her eyes as she loaded her surfboard on her back along with Cassie's old duffel bag. Loading the train she saw two kids in the corridor, one with pink hair. She raised an eyebrow and walked on entering an epty compartment Cassie once sat in.She kicked in the window seat and Sat down. Sasha Jordyn was on her way to Hogwarts.
Emma Potter - June 17, 2008 11:13 PM (GMT)
With a pleased smile, Ellie said thankyou, and proceeded to sit down, first making sure to put her stuff up on the rack above the seats. Sitting down, she sat right across from Jack, who was staring at her. What is he looking at? she wondered in her head, until he asked him if they had met before.
Smiling, she nodded, "Your grandma knows my ..grandma." she said, stuttering slightly at using "grandma" when referring to Emma. "And your mom, knew my daddy." she said happily, slowly working her way down the family trees. "And I gave you a lemon popsicle at my birthday party when I was 4." she said, wondering if Jack would remember her.
Turning to look at the other two in the compartment, she noticed they were twins, except the girl had pink hair. Ellie didnt even really look at it, it seemed normal to her mainly because she could turn her hair weird colors also. Then another girl walked in, prompting Ellie to say to the whole group, "I'm Elizabeth Silvershade, but you can call me Ellie. What are your names?" she asked.
sailorleo - June 17, 2008 11:18 PM (GMT)
Lisa grabbed the item from her grandmother, who also happened to be the headmistress at school. She gave her a quick and affectionate squeeze and walked outside of the corridor with her Grandmother.
"Oh delightful, another Jordyn," Leo said looking at the girl with the distinct Jordyn features. "Lisa, why don't you go make friends," Leo added then morphed into her form and disappeared once again.
Lisa was about to do just that, when she ran back into the compartment and shouted her name for Ellie to hear, before she ran back out to great the lonely girl. "Hey there, I'm Lisa!" she shouted excitedly.
CassieWink - June 17, 2008 11:25 PM (GMT)
Sasha stared out the window at the platform. She did not want to go here and was sort of angry at her mother and grandma. Just because Grandma went her didnt mean she had to. She sighed deeply and stroked a peice of hair out of her eyes. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the door of her compartment open. The same girl with the bright pink hair walked in and introduced herself. "Sasha. Sasha Jordyn." the girl commented opening a surf magazine. She sighed and looked up at the girl again, raising one eyebrow.
sailorleo - June 17, 2008 11:29 PM (GMT)
"Cool name, beats mine anyway," she said and sat down on the other side of her. "Oh, you read surfing magazines! I wish I could surf, but I don't have the balance for it," she said giving a kid who was giving her a dirty look about her hair again. The boy laughed at Lisa. "What's you gonna do about it, call your Grandma?" He said. Lisa shot up like a rock. "No I'm just gonna knock you out the window," she retorted getting ready to school boy tackle him. she didn't care if he was twice her size.
Emma Potter - June 17, 2008 11:34 PM (GMT)
Ellie smiled at Lisa and Sasha, using all of the manners she had been taught. She looked over at Sasha, finding it odd that the girl wasnt very social, but maybe she was just shy. "So you live in Australia?" she asked, not really meaning for it to be a question, but just the start of a conversation. "I've read about it, where is your favorite place to go?" she asked.
She then looked up when Lisa picked a fight with an older boy. Getting up, she joined Lisa, and looked at the older boy with a determined look on her face. "What did she do to you? Nothing. So why dont you just walk away before you get your butt kicked by two first years." she said, raising her wand slightly. She knew many spells already.
5@v3 - June 17, 2008 11:55 PM (GMT)
Clark had been about to reply to his sister with a sarcastic comment, when people bombarded themselves into the compartment, basically pushing him into a seat. He noted that Lisa was about to kick some more people and stepped in front of her feet just in case. "Cool it." He whispered in a slightly frightening tone. "Uuh... I'm Clark..." He said to the general crowd, not sure if anyone had really noticed him.
sailorleo - June 17, 2008 11:58 PM (GMT)
"You're lucky," she said in a growl and gave a nod of thanks to Ellie who had at least opted to fight with her. She sat back down and apologized to everyone in the room. "By the way, you missed Grammy," Lisa said sticking her tongue out.
CassieWink - June 17, 2008 11:58 PM (GMT)
Sasha raised her eyebrows at the girls. "Thank you. I do like my name. And I live in Sydney. I surf" she said softly. She wasn't trying to be unfriendly. She just really uncomfortable. She let out a low chuckle at the girl attacking the boy. "What did you say your last names were" she commented watching the girl. The one with the pink hair seemed out spoken more than the other but they both seemed friendly. She continued to flip through her own surfing magazine again looking up occaisionally to watch the action. She turned to the boy for a moment. "sasha"
sailorleo - June 18, 2008 12:02 AM (GMT)
"We're Summerviews," Leo said responding quickly to Cassie question. That's just how she was, quick with the answers, quick to fight. She had the brains and the under developed brawn, but it was her passion to do something with them that made her more of a danger
Emma Potter - June 18, 2008 12:02 AM (GMT)
Ellie grinned at Clark, laughing slightly at the fact that he could over power Lisa. He was quieter and calmer, yet he could easily make her step down, it was interesting. She was surprised to see Sasha actually start conversation, asking about their last names. "Silvershade, but I think your grandma might have known an Emma Potter, my grandma." she said, finding it very interesting to be meeting families that could have been her grandparents best friends.
"So does anyone play quidtich?" she asked, looking at Lisa and Clark more than Sasha since she already said she surfs.
5@v3 - June 18, 2008 12:11 AM (GMT)
Clark nodded slightly when Lisa caught herself and said that they were Summerview's. "But we also come from the Peppercorn line." He moved back again and out of his sister's way. It was kind of what happened. In private, the two might fight to the death, but in public, he was usually able to get her off of whatever trip she was about to set off on. Clark heard quidditch and shrugged.
CassieWink - June 18, 2008 12:12 AM (GMT)
Sasha watched the boy calm Lisa down. She raised an eyebrow and continued to lead. Listening to Emma she said her last name. She made a soft hm sound. She wasnt paying attention to the whole thing but when Lisa said her last name Sashas eyes widened. She brushed a red bang out of her eyes and looked at the twins oddly for a moment. Mom and Gran warned her. She would have to keep her guard up around them, the Silvershade girl as well. "I do..." she said not even looking up. "Play seeker" she said again flipping the page nonchalantly, though her hands were shaking a bit.
sailorleo - June 18, 2008 12:18 AM (GMT)
Lisa could feel a certain coldness that had come off of Sasha at the mention of her name. She wasn't sure why, Grandmother always talked of her family fondly. to say the least she was confused. "Well I sometimes play seeker at home. I have pretty good eye sight, but I have my mama's and grandma's strength, so they make me play Beater," she said behaving like a regular chatty cathy
5@v3 - June 18, 2008 12:28 AM (GMT)
Clark ran his tounge over his teeth as he did at times when he was thinking. "I wouldn't listen." He said to Sasha, thinking he knew. Grandpa didn't really talk to Lisa like he did to Clark. "Make you're own opinions. Don't live off what other people say." Clark said simply, noting that all of a sudden Lisa had gotten... Chatty. He pushed Lisa over slightly in order to make room for himself to sit down beside her. "I'm usually keeper, though when she's seeking I take up beater."
Emma Potter - June 18, 2008 12:31 AM (GMT)
And with all that being said, Ellie leaned back into her seat, finally running out of things to say. Sasha had become more to herself, which surprised her because Emma had always talked about the Jordyns fondly. whatever.. she thought to herself, taking out Wuthering Heights and opened it. She began to read, but really couldnt get past a paragraph because she constantly glanced up at her fellow classmates, wondering what they were doing or thinking. "I like to play Chaser. I have a very good eye/hand coordination." she said quickly.
CassieWink - June 18, 2008 12:40 AM (GMT)
Sasha raised one eyebrow aqt Clark. Could he read minds. She gave a small nod to him still integued. She continued to flip through the magazine looking at an article of her mother. She smiled softly. She was already semi homesick. "Do you all know what house you are going to be in" she asked looking at them with an interested glance. She saw the girl take out Wuthering Heights and turned to her for a moment. "Proud people breed sad sorrows for themselves." she said softly turning back to the compartment. She loved books and had one whenever she didnt have a surfing magazine in her hand.
sailorleo - June 18, 2008 12:40 AM (GMT)
Lisa, having nothing better to do began poking him in the ribs. suddenly an over whelming feeling of sadness came over her. she had never been away from her parents before. She began to whine a bit, but she didn't break down and cry. She put her hands in her lap and tried to focus on something else.
5@v3 - June 18, 2008 12:46 AM (GMT)
Clark sighed, he could read his sister like printing on parchment. He took one of her hands, though it took a minute to get them apart so that he could. "Don't worry. We'll see them in a few months. Christmas time. Presants!" He said lightly with a slight laugh. "I could guess." He said, about houses. "You'll probably be in slytherin, considering family line if nothing else..." He said with a smirk. "And if family lines follow for everyone then me and my sister would be Gryffindor." He said. He was good with family trees; even if he didn't usually note it aloud.
sailorleo - June 18, 2008 12:51 AM (GMT)
Lisa felt a little better with her brother holding her hand. "I'd like to think that we aren't a slave for tradition. Gryffindor would be nice, but just as long as I get a house I'm fine." she said with a smile that was beyond her years. "So do you think the teachers are nice? I mean I know Grammy's taking a sabbatical and we have a new headmaster this year...But...hmm," She said as she began to wonder to herself.
doratheauror - June 18, 2008 01:46 AM (GMT)
Daphne walked along the platform trying to ignore her younger brother Ian following behind her, jumping up and down at all of the excitement. Her large family was following the two of them. Daphne's father, Aidan, was taking care of her trunk, while her Nanny Melie was talking with her Auntie Sophie, who was carrying Daphne's blond haired two year old cousin Lexie.
Daphne stood on the platform looking around and saw her nanny's cousin Scarlett leaving the station, which meant that Jack was there already, and she also saw Emma, which meant Ellie was around somewheres too.
"Ok can I get on the train now?" Daphne asked impatiently. People always told her she was so much like Melie, which Daphne didn't mind at all, she loved her Nanny and wanted to be like the famous healer. She set down Gordy, her snowy owl and placed her hand on her hip and flipped her hair, which was currently a dark brown thanks to a charm her Granddad Liam had taught her, over her shoulder, holding the pose Melie had done so many times.
Aidan laughed and gave Daphne a hug.
"Of course you can go dear, give everyone a hug first," he said and Daphne rolled her eyes as Ian threw his arms around her. Quickly she gave everyone a hug and then picked up her things and practically ran for the train.
She scanned the compartments quickly finally finding the one with Jack and Ellie, both who were accompanied by people she didn't know.
"Jack! Ellie! I'm so glad I found you guys! Ian was being so embarassing, jumping around like he had never seen a train before," Daphne said dropping hard into an empty spot.
sailorleo - June 18, 2008 01:50 AM (GMT)
"Hi there!" Lisa said trying being friendly to the new girl who entered the compartment. "My, a lot of people can fit into here, huh?" She said with a laugh. There was something vaguely familiar about her face but she couldn't quite picture it. "I'm Lisa, what's your name?" She asked the new girl
Emma Potter - June 18, 2008 01:57 AM (GMT)
Ellie looked over at Sasha when she heard what she said. "I take it you read a lot?" she asked, impressed with her friend. The conversation quickly switched to houses. "I could be in Ravenclaw, or Gryffindor. My mom is a healer from Ravenclaw, my dad was in Gryffindor, and same thing with my grandparents." she said happily, nodding in agreement with Lisa about the houses.
Just then, Daphne came in. "Daphne!" she said happily, getting up and hugging one of her best friends, laughing about her comment about Ian. "Is your family still out there?" she asked before running over to the window and looking out, waving to the McCallisters who her own family had already started talking to.
doratheauror - June 18, 2008 02:09 AM (GMT)
Daphne smiled at the pink haired girl who introduced herself as Lisa.
"I'm Daphne. Daphne McCallister." She said as she almost got tackled by Ellie. "Yea their still out there," Daphne said with a sigh as she waved to her Nanny out the window. "You know they wont leave until they can't see the train anymore. Plus once our Nanny's get chattering away you know they'll never stop, I bet you a sickle they'll end up all going out to dinner as a big happy dysfunctional family."
sailorleo - June 18, 2008 02:45 AM (GMT)
"Oh, I remember you now!" Lisa squeaked. "You were at Grammy's Chirstmas party at Hogwarts. I think" Lisa recalled not quite sure on the details, but she did remember their grandmothers certainly liked to talk. But Grammy Leo always loved to talk. Well it seemed like it anyway
doratheauror - June 18, 2008 02:55 AM (GMT)
Daphne turned to face Lisa again, and looked at her closely. She did seem familiar, her Nanny knew a lot of people, so many that Daphne would get stopped in the street at times and asked if she was Melie McCallisters granddaughter, they looked so much alike. She remembered the many Christmas parties at Hogwarts, her parents and grandparents dragged her too every year, she didn't mind though, she loved going there.
"oh yea," Daphne said a little vaguely, she was sure that the girl was right, and she didn't want to seem rude. "You have a brother don't you?" Daphne asked, praying that this was the girl she was thinking of.
sailorleo - June 18, 2008 04:04 AM (GMT)
"Uh huh...This is him," she said poking Clark in the ribs. "He just doesn't talk much," she said sticking her tongue out at him. "He's my twin actually, he just lacks my good looks," she said beaming, hoping everyone would get the joke, and not be offended by it.
Emma Potter - June 18, 2008 11:26 AM (GMT)
Ellie turned around from the window, slightly sad to see that her father had already left, but atleast Emma was still there, and like Daphne said they would be there for a while. She laughed at Lisa's comment before adding, "Yes and apparently your humor also.". It was odd how Clark was so quiet, and she tried not to look at him that much because she was afraid she would end up staring at him, wondering what he was thinking etc.
doratheauror - June 18, 2008 11:52 AM (GMT)
Daphne looked at the boy that Lisa had jabbed in the ribs. He hadn't said hello or anything, Well that's rude she thought to herself.
"So are all of you new too?" Daphne asked everyone in the compartment. She sneaked a look at Jack, wondering why he was so quiet, he hadn't even said hello yet. "I hope I get Gryffindor, my whole family since my great grandparents Heartwood have been Gryffindors. My Greatnan McCallister was a Hufflepuff though, but other than that its all Lions," Daphne said with a small laugh, she was nervous and she giggled when she was nervous.
5@v3 - June 18, 2008 12:47 PM (GMT)
Clark had someone zoned off again as he usually did and his senses revived themselves when he got poked in the ribs. He heard Lisa's comment about good looks and frowned slightly at her. "No. I just lack your attitude." He said simply. "If you take the view that you are pretty you become more so." Clark took a book out of his bag and shoved it over into his sister's hands. "Search for it if you like -" Clark said hi to the new faces and thought he should probably explain the book. "- er, it's a theory book. Any muggle or magical theories can be found in it." He said simply with a shrug.
Emma Potter - June 18, 2008 01:58 PM (GMT)
Ells quickly sat back down, and re-opened her book, going back to her state of trying to read it, but couldnt because she was distacted. "Theories?" she asked, looking at Clark's book. "Like philsophy? Or regular life rules?". If it was rules she wasnt really interested, but if it was philosophy then he had her attention.
Speaking of attention.. she thought to herself as she heard the whistle blow for the last passengers to get on.
5@v3 - June 18, 2008 02:05 PM (GMT)
Clark took it up again and handed it over. "It's a bit of both..." He said simply. "You just have to make it clear which you want... Tell it what you want and it should give you some interesting stuff..." Clark gave a shrug and looked out the window. It was becoming clear quickly that the train was slow - well, compared to what Summerview's usually traveled by at least. They had way to many 'fast toys'. But, he supposed, it allowed for him to see things more clearly.
