[Name:] Matthew Springview

[Bloodline:] Pureblood.
[House:] Unknown, but I did post there and I'll edit afterwards.
[Appearance:] Matthew has curly black (almost brown) hair and dark brown eyes. He's quite tall and stands at about six feet, though he hasn't made an attempt to measure his height in a while so that's a mere estimate. Matthew has this smile that seems to radiate no matter the situation, even if he's faking the smile.
[Character Personality:] Matthew is... Hard to explain. As it goes for his personality, it changes depening on the situation and what is given to him. At any given moment it may change, whether that is for better or for worse there is no saying for sure. Sometimes he can take things the wrong way, but he tries not to, and sometimes he does make mistakes. What sort of person doesn't make mistakes? It is quite possible that he won't be all to good with people, but he expects that it won't be too much of a challenge. Oh how wrong he is.
[History:] The Springview's, though their name is close to Summerview, are not directly related. Yes, in one way or another the family is technically related because of the fact that they are pureblood, but they are not directly related. The Springview's own a small island somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The island is protected by a spell so that nobody without expressed permission may see or access it. On this island (which goes by the family name 'Springview Island') there are many different buildings. There is the main family household where everyone stays, a cafe of sorts that has many different foods. As well as that, there is a house for the kids (Matthew himself and his younger sister Alice) to play in and do whatever they like, this house has things like computer rooms and toy rooms for Alice. Many things. The fourth building is for the parents (Jack and Elouise). The kids aren't allowed in there and it's been password protected. Matthew grew up like this with only contact from other pureblood families with permission to come along. He has never ventured off the island before. Matthew got his letter when he came of age, but his mother didn't want to let him go, so he didn't get to go until now. Matthew, having lived that way all of his life and growing up around magic, wasn't at all surprised when he got the first sense of his powers. He had been walking along the beach of the island, trying not to touch the water, when a wave attempted to come up onto the shore and hit him, with a raise of his hands, the wave fell back down almost immediately. It was one of the oddest things in the world, but he knew that it was just a bit of magic saved up for a rainy day.

[Favorite Class/Worst Class:] Matthew's favorite would be potions because his father used to teach it and he knows quite a bit, his worst/most hated class would probably be Transfiguration because he knows what it's like to be transfigured into something.
[Owl, Cat, Toad, Rat, Tarantula or Pygmy Puff?] Matthew has a small black labrador that likes to roam as it will. The dog has a way of barking that sounds like it's speaking actual words and as odd as it may be, Matthew speaks to her in this way. He calls her Spring becauase she's family.
