Cassie strolled up the stairway to the Owerly, her stuf resting in a duffel bag over her shoulder. She wore a simple pair of red shorts and a black tee shirt, hair down and in flip flops. She finally made it into the Owlery and looked around for her owl, who wasn;t here yet. She placed herself down on the stool and sat facing the winodw that showed the vast structures of Hogwarts. It was so majestic and everyone loved it. With a deep sigh she slumped slowly waiting for her owl and the letter that would come with it.

Emma had been in the owlery for 20 minutes. She stopped up there every morning after her run. She had been in the middle of giving her owl a treat when she heard something drop to the ground. Turning around, she saw a sad looking Cassie and a duffel bag. "What's that for?" she asked, cocerned about her friend.

Cassie continued to wait for the letter with such distraction that she did not hear Emma in there with her. Suddenly she became very aware of her enviornment. Turning around she saw Emma and waved awkwardly. "Huh...oh nothing Emma...waiting for my letter too come. Not much else" she replied in an almost idstant voice. She then turned back to the window and stared at the turrets of the castle her fingers tracing the design in the air.

Sabrina had been walking to the owlery to mail her mother a letter about all that's happened in the year and how sad she had been.
depressed was a mrope appropriate word for this situation.

When she saw Cassie and Emma she stopped and comtemplated on walkingback out.
"oh hey guys." she said and decided otherwise. She waited for her father's business owl Blake to come down. he had been staying here for quite some time as sab's replacement owl.

Cassie heard Sabby enter and threw her hand up as an awkward wave. "Hi" she said plainly. Honestly all the girl was these days was a pile of blubbering mess. Cassie's life sucked so much more than hers but she kept it in. Well thank godshe wouldnt have t do that anymore. Tides were changing and Cassie was going to ride this tide in. Her eyes continued to search the sky for the leetter, praying it was going to arrive soon. The sooner it came...well things would reveal themselves in due time.

Emma looked down at the duffel bag, and then back up at Cassie. "You need a duffel bag..to receive and open a letter?" she asked, trying not to laugh. "Is it like a blankie to you or something that you cant go around without it."

She wanted to open the duffel bag up, but knew to give her friend more space and respect than that. Then Sabrina came in, "Hi Sabrina." she said, keeping her gaze on Cassie.

Cassie hugged the duffel close to her, it had everything she had Brought to Hogwarts in it, minimized of course. THen looking arouns suspiciously placed it on the ground ready to pick it up at a moments notice. "No.. I just.. need it" she commented perhaps a bit too sharply and she sent her friend an apologetic glance. She bit her lip gently and muttered "where is that goddamn letter" she really needed it to come now. She thought she spotted her owl but to no avail, it was another white owl

"Ok..Cassie is over-protective about luggage.." she said softly, just enough for Cassie to hear. Feeling that she wasnt wanted, she went over and sat on a window sill, first making sure there wasnt any bird poop on it. Luckily there wasnt, so she saw down and rocked, now and then leaning down over the edge, keeping her gaze on Cassie. "So who is the letter from?" she asked.

Sabrina looked up from the letter in her hand and saw Cassie and then finally noticwed the duffel bag.

she let her eyes grow wide and then she forced herself nto to cry.
"cassie... you're leaving...?" she asked her. The duffel ba said it all to Sab.

"You can';t leave..."

Sabrina wouldn't cry, but she probably wouldn;t be able to take anyone else leaving.

Cassie cocked her head to the side. "not leaving...per say...more or less taking a two year long vacation" she said quietly. "I recieved a letter about two weeks ago from this famous surf coach and he wants me to train with him. Its an oppurtunity I cant pass up" she sad quietly as the white owl flew from the sky. It was not Cassie's though. "Tha bag has all my stuff in it" she said in almost a dead whisper.

Sabrina didn't look at Cassie, she simply looked at the ground.

"If you want to leave, I can't stop you...and I'm sure Emma can't either, but wish you the best of luck with whatever you do." she smiled and looked up at Cassie.
