Remy looked at the letter in his hand and then quickly shoved it back into his robe he had no idea what to do and he didnt know where dream was. He stood for a few minutes then began walking to his father-in-laws office surely rogue would have some advice for him. Remy walked into his office and saw it empty and sighed, now he was really stumped as to what to do next when he heard a small noise coming from the back of the office. Remy walked over and saw fawkes in his cage and suddenly remy knew what he had to do. He grabbed a small vial and looked at the bird "boy you sure are getting fat fawkes, every time i see you, you get bigger and bigger and soon you wont fit into your cage anymore and you know what happens next right ....yep phoenix stew" remy said with a smirk.

“What a horrible thing to say!” Scarlett said, her drawl suffused with outrage for the bird’s feelings. Realizing her mistake immediately she covered her mouth with one small white hand. She was supposed to be following Remy without being seen which had worked, she thought, right up until she’d given herself away. She was standing just outside the entrance to Professor Rogue’s office, not wanting to tress pass on the sanctity. But since she could see Remy from where she was standing, now that he knew where to look for her she was pretty sure he would be able to see her too. Scarlett took a step down the spiraling stair case in hopes of ducking out of sight.

Emma had been walking back up to the Ravenclaw Tower, hoping to get in some studying time before her next final when she saw Scarlett disappear into the Headmaster's office. Looking around to see if anyone was near, she was happy to see that the coast was clear before she followed after Scarlett, wondering what the sneakiness was about. Walking up the stairs, she stopped right behind Scarlett who had backed down.

"What's going on Scarlett?" she asked, trying to look over Scarlett's shoulders, where she saw Remy. Immediately she knew she had blown Scarlett's cover. "Oops." she said softly.

Scarlett jumped when she heard Emma’s voice behind her. She glared at the Ravenclaw Prefect, but Emma didn’t seem to take the hint so when the other girl peeped up the stairs into office Scarlett backed down the stairs quickly and quietly, leaving the other girl talking to herself. Maybe something of this could still be salvaged. Perhaps Remy would think that Emma had been the one to speak. After all as a Prefect she had a right to be hanging around Professor Rogue’s office, while Scarlett really didn’t have any business there. And even if Remy had actually seen Scarlett Emma could always claim she was practicing her power or something. Scarlett didn’t have high hopes that Emma would cover for her, but she just had to play it by ear now.

Dream was walking towards her dad's office, wondering what exactly he wanted to talk to her about. She had just reached the bottom of the staircase leading up to his office when she saw someone tiptoeing down the stairs. "Scarlett!" she said loudly. She could see a look on Scarlett's face that looked a lot like guilt and Dream was already dying of curiousity about what could have her friend looking that way. "What are you doing?" she asked her, moving to block her way.

Remy held out the vial but the phoenix didnt cry at all. He wondered what else he could do to make it cry when he heard someone say his name, he turned around and saw scarlett and then emma then he heard dream. He knew he wouldn't be able to do what he had wanted with everyone around and to be honest he probably couldn't have done it anyway by himself but he had to do something he couldn't just stand around helpless and then it hit him and he ran past everyone headed towards the forbidden forest.

Instead of answering Dream’s question Scarlett decided to start with more pertinent information. “Remy is acting really strange.” As if to prove this Remy brushed past the two of them and kept running. Scarlett desperately wanted to keep Remy in her sites. She also tried to brush past Dream to follow Remy out into the forest.

Leo was spending a long grueling night hunting in the forest as a lioness, trying to get out all her frustrations venting on some nasty boars that were trying to charge her. She had just killed the last one and was dragging back to her cave in her teeth when she heard footsteps rushing towards her. What the? Leo let out a threatening roar hopping to ward off any wee little firsties, should they come upon her.

"Dream!" Emma said in the dark of the stairway leading up to Headmaster's office. Drawing out her wand, she said "Lumos." and looked around at her friends faces. "Scarlett, what do you mean Remy is acting.." she said, before seeing Remy running by. "Where is he going?" she asked, following Scarlett who was following Remy.

Henry walked outside to the hogwarts ground, and looked to see who was out there. "Hey everyone what's up?" Henry walked over to everone else and waved.

Remy was in no mood to be nice at the moment so he just walked by henry without saying a word. He knew where he had to go and he wasnt about to let anyone get in his way. He walked up to a small clearing and sat down and pulled out a bag containing a strange herb then smiled as he saw a small unicorn walk up to him. Remy smiled as he walked over to it and then in a flash he had it under his arm a knife to its throat.

Scarlett ran breathlessly after Remy. Her legs were short, but she was determined. The spidery words, born by a bat, creeped in Scarlett’s mind driving her forward: The Wind Walker considers a dark path. Cryptic yes, but Scarlett was pretty sure she at least knew it was referring to Remy. Scarlett halted in a clearing to find Remy threatening a little unicorn with a big knife. “Exspeliarmus,” she said drawing her wand and hoping to disarm him before the dark path opened up and swallowed him.

Dream was stunned when Scarlett barrelled straight into her arm, pushing past her. Dream almost lost er balance and went tumbling down the stairs, but her instincts were quick and she grabbed the railing just as her knees buckled. She looked up to find Emma looking at her asking what was going on. Dream stood upright and shrugged with a glare evident on her face. "I don't know, but I'm going find out!" she said fiercely. "Come on!" she said to her good friend.

Emma helped Dream back up, and entered the halls, looking curiously around for Scarlett. "She went outside." she said, as she looked through a nearby window and saw Scarlett running through the grounds below. "Come on, this way is quicker!" she said, tugging Dreams arm slightly to have her friend follow her.

She was used to the grounds, and from her many different morning runs she knew the paths that were quicker, which ones had better hill etc.

As soon as she got through the front doors, she took a path slightly around the castle, and then went off on a trail behind the Herbology area. She sprinted through, actually shoving some students out of her way as she ran, until she finally came to the right of Remy, at the same time as Scarlett. "Expelliarmus." she shot at the unicorn at the same time Scarlett shot a spell at him. It was an enough of a force to give the unicorn some wiggle room to get free.

Remy felt the knife leave his hand and he quickly turned around and aimed his wand at scarlett then before he could do a thing he saw the unicorn begin to try and run away. "NO!! he shouted as he aimed his wand at the unicorn and shouted "sectumsempra" hoping his aim would be good enough to draw blood.

Dream raced after Emma, panting slightly at her friend's quick pace. She was grateful for the speed though when came up on Scarlett attacking Remy. Dream didnt have time to think in that moment. She drew her wand, pointed it at Scarlett and silently said "Petrificus Totalis!" Then she hit the ground with a wave of torturous agony swamped through her. Tears of pain were streaming down her face as she found herself staring into the frightened eyes of the unicorn foal. She was completely paralyzed as her entire conciousness zoomed in to only focus on the foal's pain and emotions.

Emma looked glance back and forth from Scarlett, to Dream, to the Unicorn and finally Remy who she had her wand pointing at. Technically if she somehow helped the unicorn, then at the same time she would be helping Dream. The only way she could break the spell was to have Remy lose his concentration.

"Expelliarmus." she said softly for a second time, this time aiming her spell at Remy's wand. Just as quickly she casted a shield around herself.

Remy turned to see who else was attacking him and he saw emma. He was tempted to blast her but at the moment the unicorns blood was too important to ignore so he reached into his pocket and took a vial out and ran to the unicorn's side. He knew he only had a short amount of time before more chaos ensued.

Scarlett side stepped Dream’s spell. She was horrified by the scene before her. Between Dream and the unicorn her mind was reeling. One was obviously related to the other. She went to the heart of the matter. “Remy what are you doin’? first phoenix tears and now unicorn blood, who is sick? Please Let Emma help the unicorn and I will try to help you if I can.” Scarlett hoped that this peaceful approach would save further blood shed.

Emma turned her wand away from Remy and to the unicorn as she took several steps at a time, slowly, making it look like she wasn't moving if glanced at quickly. If only she could get over to it in time, she might be able to save it.

As she got closer, she heard Scarlett's peace treaty. She was within several feet of the unicorn, within arm's distance of Remy. With one quick glance at the silver blood soaked grass near her, she knew she had to make a decision.

Within three strides, she was by its sides, placing herself slightly between the animal and the attacker, and yet she didn't do anything. "Remy, let me help it. I don't think you want to do this to the animal or your wife.", she said looking over at Dream in pain.

Remy saw scarletts mouth moving but he was too intent on getting the blood that he heard nothing from her or from emma. What he didn't hear he saw though and he now saw emma was standing between him and the precious blood. He shoved emma out of the way only to watch the vial he was holding in his hand slip through his fingers and break into tiny pieces on the floor. "Look what you made me do" he yelled out angrily as he accioed his wand to his side.

When Scarlett saw the vial break she knew they were in trouble. Remy was a desparate man and he couldn’t be trusted. Just as he pushed Emma, Scarlett moved to stand beside Emma and the unicorn casting her strongest shield charm around herself, the unicorn, and Emma leaving Remy alone with Dream on the outside. She hoped that would buy Emma some time to help the foal.

As soon as Scarlett was by her side, Emma knew that Remy was on the outside and for several seconds Emma had time to help the unicorn. Spinning around, she knelt down beside it, soothingly talking to it as she worked. She casted several basic healing spells to heal some of its smaller cuts, and she tried to use more advanced healing spells to take care of the main cut around its stomach.

She also tried to get rid of most of the blood on the ground by rubbing it into the dirt and grass, making it hard for Remy to retrieve. "We need to get it to Hagrid. I need bandages and herbs to fix the rest." she said, looking down at the unicorn that was bleeding less now.

Dream was locked into a nightmare, unable to move or scream. She could hear the voices around her, she could even almost understand them, but the waves of pain surrounding her kept her from being able to focus on anything else. Suddenly the pain began to lessen and she took a long shuddering breath. She finally realized a couple of things had happened. Emma was healing the unicorn, Scarlett was still in full attack Remy mode and there was a broken vial of silverly liquid laying at Remy's feet. Dream slowly uncurled her body and rolled until she was sitting up. She was still feeling to much pain to get to her feet yet, but it was gradually getting more bearable. "What's going on here?" she asked in a very soft voice.

Leona in lioness form, rushed towards the noises when she heard shouts, all of them seeming to belong to her friends. She saw Dream just in time for her to recover from a flare up that occurred whenever an animal was in pain. Leo brushed her head softly against Dream, trying to check to make sure she was going to be okay. She saw the scene in front of her and it was enough to make her want to vomit. what did happen

Dream shivered as a huge lioness walked up to her. she knew that it was Leo and not for the first time, she wondered ow her friend always knew when to show up. Grateful to have another animal to focus on and to be able to speak telepathically instead of trying to force coherent words out of her mouth, she slowly wrapped her arms around Leo's neck. "I have no idea but Scarlett is attacking Remy and my god Leo, I think Remy attacked that baby unicorn! I don't know what's going on or who's side I'm supposed to be on right now, but if I get the strength then I'm going to have to attack Scarlett to defend Remy and I really don't want to." she responded telepathically to Leo.

"I think we have a couple of other things to worry about before bandages and herbs." Scarlett had noticed that Leo had arrived. And that Dream was looking coherent but no less threatening. "Remy tell us what the matter is. Let us help you," Scarlett called. She was hoping that if they could find out what had brought Remy to such desparate straights it would give them a reason to unite instead of fight.

Emma looked behind herself and saw Leo was back there with Dream, who was looking slightly better. Moving slightly to her side so her back wouldnt be turned to the others, she slowly got up, making sure she didnt scare the unicorn. She turned to Remy right when Scarlett asked him what was going on. It was probably the same thing that everyone was wondering.

Remy saw the unicorns wounds healing and the blood being sealed up in its body again and his blood boiled. "what are you doing? he screamed as he raised his wand at emma and scar and shouted out "aguamenti" (pretend its a powerful spell im too tired to look up anything and its the only spell i can remember atm :P) Remy watched the spell bounce off there shield. "Just give me the animal and i promise i wont hurt you" he suddenly changed his tone of voice.

Dream heard Remy screaming and she could hear the rage in his voice. She could also hear something else his voice. Something that she didn't hear very often from him and she wasn't sure if anyone else would recognize. Remy was afraid and she had to do something to help him. She opened her purse and grabbed a a vial of Sil's Fortifying Potion and she poured the contents down her throat hoping it would help her. Then she forced herself to try to talk, not sure if her voice would be strong enough to be heard but knowing that she had to try. "Baby what's wrong with you?" she asked him worriedly. She felt better and better with each passing minute and if he didn't start talking soon then she was going to grab him and use her locket to get them home where he couldn't hurt anyone except her.

Scarlett felt Remy’s spell clash off her shield all the way to her bones. It hurt but she maintained it. “I will not without a reason Remy. I will not blindly give you what you ask. You waste time ranting.” Scarlett’s voice was cold with her own restrained fury. Some of that fury melted off when she heard Dream’s plea. Scarlett had a really bad feeling that if Remy chose to answer his wife the choices in this situation were going to get a whole lot tougher.

Remy felt hope leaving his body as he watched the unicorn getting better with each passing second. He was close to losing it when he heard a voice in all the confusion calling out to him. He turned around and looked at dream and instead of calming him down it made him see that he had to get that unicorn at any cost even if it meant harming his freinds. He turned back to look at emma and scar "last warning either you give me that unicorn or your my enemy" he fumed.

And just as quick as that Scarlett’s fury was returned. “Remy I don’t want to be your enemy but will not allow you to harm this creature. Especially with Dream right here. Get a hold of yourself. Nothing is worth givin’ your soul for.” Scarlett made that last desparate plea. She knew the consequences of drinking unicorn blood was to loose your soul. She didn’t want to see that happen to Remy. But Scarlett could also see a wildness in the whites of Remy’s eyes so she got ready for the fight of her life.

OOC: I had a post written on here, and then LC just shuts down..grr.

BIC: Emma stood her ground, taking place of the gap between her in Scarlett where Remy could have gotten to the unicorn. "We are your friends Remy, but we cant let you do this to yourself or Dream." she said, looking him in the eye. She doubted he would stop, and she noticed that Scarlett was also prepared for some huge spells to come blasting her way.

Dream looked over at the unicorn as Emma's healing brought the creature to a good enough state of health for Dream's strength to return. That's when she realised that she was surrounded in a disgusting stench. She sniffed and realized that the scent was Chase's cologne and it was strong enough to make her want to gag. She wondered where it was coming from. she looked around and realized it was coming off Leo herself. Dream pushed herself away from Leo with a disgusted look on her face. Then she heard Remy's response to Scarlett's comment. She didn't have a lot of options left open to her so she grabbed a piece of twine from her purse and quickly tied it into a loop. She turned it into a portkey which would go directly to Hagrid's Hut. Using a levitation spell she sent the twine over to unicorn, slipping over it's head. Instantly the unicorn disappeared, leaving a very wary Dream ready to face off against her husband if he attacked her, and against her friends if they attacked him.

Seeing Dream take out the twine made Scarlett really nervous. It didn't look like any spell component she'd ever seen. When the little lasso came sailing toward the shield that Scarlett had errected she knew she had a choice to make and in the end she decided she trusted Dream. She let her shield down and stepped aside so that Dream had a clear shot at the unicorn. The Gryffindor Prefect's aim was true and the little unicorn dissappeared. Scarlett prayed he was in a safer place. She tried to raise her shield again to protect she and Emma from Remy, but she was not sure she'd be fast enough.

Remy saw the unicorn dissapear after dream's rope ported it away. "NO!!!" he screamed out in anguish as he used his anwa power to gently push dream and leo away and then focused his wand at scar and emma and shouted out "cruc" but stopping before he could finish the spell and turned to leave instead.

Dream watched in horror as Remy screamed and then turned on their friends with a forbidden curse on his lips. She was about to dive for him when she felt a draft of wind push her back a few feet. Seeing Remy stop in the middle of the curse and start to walk away, Dream fought against the wind and ran after Remy. Not sure if he would accidently hurt her in this kind of a mood or not, she risked it and grabbed his arm. She held his arm tightly and walked in front of him, stepping backwards in time to his forward steps and looking at him in desperate worry. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" she shrieked, a note of hysteria now apparent in her voice.

Occ; you're lucky I love you dream and let you god mod me, pfft...lol

Bic: Leona wondered what Dream was going on about when she kinda shoved Leo off of her. She figured that it was because she was feeling better, and that her fur was really hot for Dream, she then remembered that she gout caught in a perfume war with some gryffies a few hours ago and realized she must have stunk of Chase, or someone else. She didn't blame Dream then, for her olfactory senses already kicked in.

When she was shoved aside by Remy, she got right back up and stood in front of Dream, ready to brunt any blow that Remy or whoever else was going to dish out at her. Leo had her tough hide to thank for all this bravery...

Remy turned around and was prepared to yell at dream when all of a sudden leo decided to get between the two of them. He really was in a bad mood at the moment and whatever good leo thought she was doing was horribly wrong. He had been taught never to hit a girl without a proper reason and normally he would have never do this but this wasn't a normal day, no not at all. He balled up his fist and smacked the lion on the nose.
