Karl walked down the hall of the train cabins pasting slowly, looking in each cabin as they filled up before he could even make his way to one of them. 'is it really this hard to get a cabin?' Karl thought out to himself as the train moved slightly heading for hogwarts. the noise on the train grew louder and louder as the students stumbled past each other and Karl looking lost in the middle of the crowd, everyone seemed to be atleast talking to someone, "Oh my," Karl stepped back to the side letting all the students pass him.

Cassie watched as the train filled up with students, or as she called them hers fans. Anyone second year or above knew what she did everytrain ride. Mainly set off her fireworks and welcome them to Hogwarts. She had grown a bit over the summer, mentally of course. Her redhair flowed down her back in its beacky waves and she had on a jean mini skourt and an emerald cami. She made her way down the train setting off the fireworks and even doing a few cartwheels and lage booms and bright colors followed her. She did a low bow after wards and entered a compartment, one she had earned afetr her years her. She glanced from where she sat at a boy in the hall and placed her dufflebag, covered with her native Australian stickers, on the floor and leant foward slightly. "Oy you.. you got' a compartment" she called out her accent still prominant.

Melie shoved her way through the crowded hallway of the train. It was always like this on the first day. She shoved her way though, or rather, followed Pipa as she cleared a path. It was hard not get out of the way of the large grey great dane. Melie dragged her trunk, her cat Gigi and owl Orion, both in their cages, while looking into each compartment for Emma. They had agreed to meet on the train, and as she reached the last one she saw Cassie talking to a new boy.
"HI Cassie," Melie said as she walked up to them, and Pipa stopped to smell the feet of the boy. "Are you new? I'm Melie Heartwood. And you are....?"

Karl noticed the girl call towards him asking him if he had a compartment, he glared over towards her feeling quite nervous to reply, "I dont think i would be out here if i didnt have one" Karl pated his right hand behind is head and smiled a little feeling abit out of place.

he then noticed another girl appear before him introducing herself, "Yes i am" Karl said quitely, feeling quite nervous around the two girls.

Emma shoved her way through the crowd, forgetting her pleasentries, and beginning to use some prefect power. "Out of my way." she said to one of her fellow Ravenclaws who was flirting with a Huffelpuff girl. "If you want to do that, find a comparment." she said with a grin. She could never keep stern. Seeing a glimpse of a great dane, she let Leala go, realizing that her greyhound would lead her to Melie. After a minute, she found her friends, Leala having gotten there probably a minute earlier.

"Hey guys!" she said happily, putting her things away on the upper rack before sitting down with Leala back at her side. Noticing a newbie in the comparment, she smiled, "Hi! I'm Emma, and you are..?" she asked.

Cassie grinned and Hugged Melie as she walked in. The boy had an additude which Cassie was not to fond of. so she simply raised her eyebrow at him. "He's so friendly" she muttered sarcastically to Melie then waved over to Emma. She ran over and hugged her friend tightly. "G'day Emma..." she greeted her placing herself at the window seat. "Are you comcing in or not" she asked the kid one eyebrow raised at him. She swung her redd hair over one shoulder and turned to the other two. "Did you two see the lovely welcoming Cassie preformance."

Karl noticed another girl hang around him and the other two girls that were already talking to him. Karl looked at the other girl that introduced herself called Emma, "Karl" he said quietly "Karl Maison" he repeated including his second name, as he looked at the Slytherin girl and nodded gently at emma as he walked into an empty compartment. he sat down next to the window as he looked out the window as the train passed a river the sun setting slowly pre-paring for night he looked at the other three girls out side wondering if they were thinking of joining him.

Emma shot a cold look at Cassie for talking about the new student. She was nervous and quite when she first started school too. "Hi Karl." she said, sitting down opposite of him. "So are you the first of your family to come to this school, or have you had brothers/sisters who have already gone through?" she asked nicely.

Karl looked at Emma as she asked if he was the first off his family to off come to hogwarts. "Just my mum" he said quietly. Karl had his mind on his real parents, and wondered if they were in the place they called Prison in the muggle world, and also wondered if the police were still trying to find him, the wizard world was the only place he could feel safe at the moment.

Karl looked back out the window glaring at the sun set shining through the train windows. "Sorry if i seem so Quite" Karl said quitely.

Melie hugged Cassie back and smiled weakly at her comment, not wanting to say anything else to egg her on. She placed the animal cages and her trunk on one of the shelves and sat down. When she saw Leala Melie knew that Emma wasn't far behind and she saw her a few minutes later and Melie jumped up from her seat next to the window.
"Emma! I was wondering when you would come along, I've been looking for you!" Melie said happily, giving her a hug. She heard the new boy speak as he sat down across from where she had been sitting and Melie smiled at him again. He was really quite.
"Don't worry about it, people are always quiet at first here, well most anyways, I don't think Cassie knows what being quiet means," Melie said with a small laugh. "But we're a good group for the most part. You do have a few off-ish people but everyone is really cool." She tried giving him a reassuring smile because he really did seem kind of worried. A few seconds later she heard the whistle blow and the train slowly started moving.

Chase was moving past the compartment when his eyes lay themselves upon the people inside it. He saw the first year boy and, if he didn't know how if felt to be around girls all the time (life in the Thriller club) he would've walked past and let them be. Instead he walked in. "Ladies." He winked at Cassie. "Uuh... New guy whom I don't know the name of..." Chase smiled slightly. "I'm Chase Summ- I'm Chase." He had had a few first years gawking at his last name already, he wasn't sure if it would happen again, but he's rather not test that.

Melie heard a familiar male voice and she looked over at the door of the compartment, she knew it wasn't Liam, but she still hoped he would be right behind Chase coming into the car.
"Hi Chasey!" Melie said and stood up to give her fellow Gryffindor a quick hug. "How was your summer? Fun?" Melie asked distracted as she looked at the people passing by the car trying to see if any one of them was Liam. Turning her attention back to everyone else she gave them a smile. "I can't wait to get back. I've missed everyone!"

Karl looked at them, as the compartment started to get crowded slightly, he then pulled his attention to chase, "Nice name, not one i hear often, i actually like it" Karl said truthfully, for one thing he was a very honest student. the train picked up abit more speed. "My name is Karl Maison" he said towards chase whilst he noticed a black wolf appear at the door way off the compartment, "Zago, dont stand in the middle off the carrige way, you will scare people" Karl said to his pet wolf as Zago went towards Karl and led underneath his legs his yellow eyes watching every movement in the compartment.

Cassie let out a loud Cassie laugh. "hey Mels you know Ive never been quiet a single day in my life girlfriend" she said through laughter. Tucking starnd of hair out of her eyes she smiled at the new kid. "G'day. I'm Cassie Jordyn. Slytherin Surfing Legend. True Blue Australian Goddess. Whatever you may call me" she introduced herself standing up and giving a long sweepinmg boy. As she sat back down Chasey entered and she threw the wink back. "Well if it isn't the rouge gryffindor" she said smirking at him.

"Pleasure - " Chase managed to get out that single word before Cassie called him rouge. An eyebrow raised slightly trying to figure out why he was rouge. "Er... I guess..." Chase put a hand on the back of his neck and as he did he saw the wolf. "Ha, I wouldn't worry about anyone being scared by that. Maybe some first years would be, but most of us've seen worse!" He said with a half grin. Chase sat himself down on the ground in front of Cassie and held her legs.

Emma grinned at Cassie's introduction, waiting for her friend to finish so she could tease her. "Well, I know some things I could call you, but I probably shouldnt say them outloud." she said with a grin, before feeling Leala's urge to go forward to greet the wolf.
"Stay." she said firmly to her puppy, before looking up at Karl, "I'm Emma, as you already know ..and I am the Ravenclaw Prefect, Quidtich Captain, Cheerleading Captain and unlike Cassie, I am not going to open up to any other names." she said, grinning.

Melie laughed at Cassies comment. "I know Cass, trust me." She turned back to Karl. "We've all got some sort of nicknames, some are nicer than others. I'm in Gryffindor, the best house if I do say so myself. I'm not a prefect, or a captain or anything like that, but I do play quidditch, I'm a chaser. I hold the school record for most goals in a game too, which is pretty sweet." Melie said with a grin. "And yea, Chase is right, only firsties will be scared by your wolf. In gryffindor alone we have 2 lions and a wolf, along with countless other pets. My dorm alone has 5 and theres only me and my dormmate Mark." She laughed hopeing that the new guy was starting to feel more comfortable.

Karl showed a small smile as they spoke about his wolf only being able to scare firsties. "Well i totaly respect your oppineon, all of you that is, and your most proberly right, i mean who knows, i see him more as a best friend then some pet to scare firsties, hes been there for me alot, infact hes my bestfriend, and i would never trade friendship for anything else, friendship can get you towards acheivements, i believe friendship is the strongest thing out there" Karl showed a slightly bigger smile as he looked down to Zago which Zago slightly tilted his head up towards Karl, Karl pulled his right hand from his leg and pated Zago on the head.

"I watch Zago's back and he watches mine, he can tell when im upset, scared, lonely. and he comforts me when im nervous" Karl said as Zagos eyes traced every movement again with his eyes.

"How long have you had him?" she asked Karl about Zago. She was always interested in people's pets, mainly because she found that like herself, their pets beame part of them or part of their families. "I'm pretty sure that any house you go into will allow you to Zago." she said, before asking, "So do you play quidtich?"

Karl looked towards Emma as she asked how long he had Zago for, "Since he was a pup really" Karl said as the train picked up abit more speed. "Erm not at school no, i have only really been to a muggle school, and they play a thing called football, but i have practiced around the wizard world, Zago watches me play and when i fall he allways incurige's me to keep on trying."

"how long does it take then to get to hogwarts normaly on train?" It was now night time outside, very dark and cold, you could see the cold moon light shine above in the dark sky where the dark clouds hovered around.

Chase, who was still sitting on the floor holding Cassie's legs. watched out the window for a moment after Karl asked how long the ride would take. His eyes looked down at his watch. "We've still got a while yet." He said, taking a slight breath. "It's always a long journey..." Nodding, Chase held a bit tighter to Cassie's legs before putting his head down and looking at her upside down. "And yes, I am quite comfortable."

Melie sat and stared out the window of the train as it started to get dark. She loved traveling but sometimes it seemed to take forever to get to Hogwarts. At least she had some friends to keep her company this time. Giving a small yawn Melie started to make some small talk since the conversation had died down for a little bit.
"So Karl, do you have any brothers or sisters at all?" She asked facing him again. Pipa was asleep at her feet, her head resting next to Chase. "What house do you want to be sorted into anyways?"

Emma had curled herself up into a ball, her arms wrapped around her legs that were bent close to her body, her head now and then resting on the top of them. She drifted off to sleep for a little bit during the peace and quiet until she heard something about a house. "Ravenclaw, duh." she murmered, keeping her eyes still slightly closed but allowing a smile to sneak onto her lips. Opening her eyes up, she grinned at Melie before strectching slightly, re-adjusting her body.

Sabrina had been sitting all alone in her comparmtnet with Midnight and she decided that she should take a stab at being socail. She didn;t want peopl to start worrying aboutbher committing sucide...heaven forbid...

She got up and Midnight follwed her as she opened a door to another compartment and waved to all the familiar faces.

"hey guys. room for one more?" she smiled weakly.

"Make that two more," Lindsey said, grinning, and squeezing into the already maxed out compartment. She hugged Sabrina, Cassie, Chase, and Emma, all of whom she knew already. Then looked from Melie to Karl. "I don't think I know either of you, but I'm Lindsey, proud Slythern firstie, and obsessive dramaqueen." She eyed all the dogs in the compartment, extremely happy to be sharing a compartment with her favorite animals.

The only thing different about Lindsey was she had grown about an inch (oh wow) and had added red highlights to her chestnut brown hair.

Sabrina stood in the dorrway, waiting to make sure she wasn';t intruding upon anything.
it didn;t look the liveliest of crowds so she was hesitant.
"hey linds." she waved, tensing up at the hug.
