Chase was meeting Cassie. Not for the date that he still had to set up, but because he wanted to change up surfing and adapt it so that it could be a wizarding sport as well. He thought it would be fun. The idea had come to him when Lindsey had asked the general crowd if she could use magic to learn quicker. He didn't care, but he thought that if magic were to be used, there should be a real reason to use it. So Chase sat down by the lake, ignoring the growls of mer from beneath the water, with a surf board that Cassie had, helped, make him leaning against a tree.

Cassie had gotten an owl from her loverly boy toy telling her that she was needed at the lakde and a surfboard and bathing suit was needed. Now Cassie wasnt always the sharpest crayon in the box but even she understood what this meant. Strapped in a green bikini and black wetsuit she searched through her boards until she found the one she wanted. It wasnt her competition board.It was her blue green and pink racer. She jogged down to the lake, leaned her board up against the tree then plopped down and grinned at Chase. "Miss me Mr. Perfect" she said calling him by the rickname she developed for him on the first day.

"Oh always Miss Cassie." He said with a clever grin. Chase hugged her for a moment before getting straight to the point. "So. I had this idea. Remember how we were in the Room of Requirements a while back with a few people and we were in the water? Well, I got this idea to change up surfing so that it could work as a wizarding sport as well!" He grinned. "But, of coarse, we'll have to surf for a while before we start thinking. It's only natural!"

Cassie laughed and stood up for a moment studying the lake. "I really wanted to get some big waves in here." she replied. She took her wand out of her pocket and began to murmer softly, a spell to create waves. Suddenly medium waves began to to form and Cassie grabbed her board. She zipped up her wet suit and lifted her board from the tree. "Ready to go babe" she called to him diving gracefully into the lake with a smile. She popped up and pulled her board in, sitting on it.

Chase laughed. "You look much more excited about surfing than I expected!" He said as he moved to grab his own board. Chase moved a bit slower than she had, mostly to keep her waiting in annoyance, but when he got back to the edge of the water he found himself in it quicker than he had meant to. Damn. He must've been a bit excited as well. "In your absence I took to our little 'hobby'." He said with a grin.
