It had been storming, thundering and lightening for 3 days, non-stop. This made it, well to be honest, hell to get from indoor classes to outdoor classes and back without being soaked. Emma's teams hadn't been thrilled when they found out that quidtich practice had not been canceled, and cheerleading practice was still outdoors. Her reply was that "If you could play in the pouring down rain, you could play anywhere."

It was 1 o'clock in the morning on a Saturday, when the rain had finally stopped pounding against every inch of the school. By that dawn, the sun had risen and everyone saw the damage that was left behind. The whole Forbidden Forest was basically gone in the front. Tree were down everywhere.

Happy about the sun, Emma came bouncing down the stairs towards the Great Hall for breakfast when she saw a group of students huddled around one of the teachers, all listening intently as the teacher talked. Curiously, she walked up and listened to the speech. Apparently, there was a group that would be help clean the forest up, and if you did this you would get bonus points for a class of your choice.

"I'm in." she said lightly under her breath, before running off to grab a bagel, eating it and coming back to where the group would meet. They would need a lot of help, and it would take a long time..but it was worth it.

Alfie looked out of one of the school windows and saw that the storm had played havic on the trees in the forest. Loving plants like Alfie did, her first thought was to go and try to repare as many trees as she could.

As Alfie got outside she heard one of the teachers talking about cleaning up the mess in the forest. Alfie then heard Emma say she would help.

Alfie looked in her pack to make sure she had all the seedlings of the same kind of trees that had been broken and destroyed by the storm so that they could be replaced.

"Emma", Alfie said, as Emma ran past her.


oh well Alfie said to herself I'll be able to talk to her as soon as she returns to help.

Emma heard her name called as she went to go grab a bagel. "What?" she called back, stopping in place and seeing that Alfie had called her. "Oh hey Alfie, just let me grab a bagel real quick." she said, and decided to accio a bagel from the table, grinning as she saw it was the same one that a kid was going to reach for.

"What's up? Are you going to help also?" she asked as she walked back over to Alfie. Noticing that the group had begun to move outside, by the front entrance, she followed along with Alfie.

"Yeah," Alfie said when Emma asked if she was going to help.

"I have some strong seedlings to plant in place of the ones that can't be saved. I sure looks bad from here but I have found that when you get closer things can look better." Alfie hoped that she could help the trees that where there. The trees in the forest might be old by their standards but in reality they where young. Trees could live for hunderds of years. These trees as far as Alfie knew where only a couple of hindred years and so they where if compared to human years just becoming adults with 3/4 of their life left.

"Well I guess we had better get going so that there is a better chance of save the trees. If the sap is still sticky we can brace the limbs and they will grow back." Alfie walked to the teacher and said, "I'll run ahead and check out the tres so that I can mark the ones that need to be removed and start fixing the ones that can be. Emma see you when you get there."

Alfie hoped that Emma would run and get there at the same time Alfie did so that they could work together before it got crowded.

Emma smiled at Alfie as she left. She hung back in the group, moving around with them until they got outside. Once out there, Emma slipped on her invisibility cloak and went running at full speed, happy to see that the teacher hadn't noticed.

She followed Alfie the whole way down to the edge of the forest, where she stopped and slid of the cloak. "What can I do?" she asked as she approached Alfie, looking around at the burnt down forest.

As alfie reached the edge of the forest she fell to her knees in front of a very old looking tree. It had been burnt beyond anything Alfie could repair. "Oh I am so sorry Wahoo tree." Alfie dug in her pack to see if she had one, but Wahoo trees where hard to find.

All of the sudden it dawned on her the Emma had said something. "What Emma?," Alfie siad in a voice that betrayed her sorrow for the tree. All the while Alfie patted the trees roots that where they sticking up out of the ground.

Emma stopped and watched Alfie try to help the tree. "Alfie, we need to keep going. There are so many trees and animals in here that need to be re-built." she said sympathetically, hating the fact that she had to keep them moving, or they woud never get anything done.

She squinched up her nose for a second, hating the smell of burnt wood, or burnt anything. It was weird to think that just a day ago she had been running through here, like she always did, and now she wouldnt be running through it in a long time.

As Emma was trying to get Alfie to go check out some of the other trees and things Alfie felt some life in the roots. The tree was in great pain but as long as there was life Alfie could do something.

"Emma Help me by casting along with me herbivocus this tree still has some life and we can make it grow a little so it will not die." Alfie quickly took her wand and Said, "Herbivacus,"

The tree started to make small buds but it needed to have a few leaves to help it make it when winter got there. That was the only way it would have enough food to make it.

It was very early in the morning. Henry got out of his bed without any pants on, and began to sleep walk. He then walked down the staris. He then went outside.

He then walked up to Allis and Emma. He waved to them, and moaned a little.

Henry didn't have his wand with him or anything, so hopefully nothing bad would happen. Or Henry could have a problem.

Emma smiled and bent down next to Alfie, glad that the tree would survive. By the looks of things, the forest would need every tree it could get. "Herbivacus" she said, and watch in awe as leaves and buds grew on the tree.

"Wow." she said, amazed at how much one spell could help a tree. Hearing a moan from behind her, she turned her head, and saw Henry without pants on. "Bloody Heck, Henry."she said, turning her head back facing the tree as quickly as she could. "Alfie do not look back." she said, knowing her friend would wonder what was going on.

"Henry you do realize you arent supposed to be down here. You are going to be in trouble, if the teacher catches you." she said, referring to the teacher who was in charge of the forest recsue group. "And stop moaning, and go back in the tower and get some pants on before you say another word to me." she said strictly, not finding the whole thing funny. The sight she had just saw was not one she wanted to see, nor was it a pretty one. Closing her eyes, she tried to get the image out of her head.

"Alfie, please tell me the next thing I can do." she pleaded, trying to get her mind focused on another topic.

Henry conitued to sleep walk and listend to waht Emma said. Henry then groaned once more.

Henry walked back into the castle and went into his dorm. He picked up his pants and slipped them on.

He then walked out of the room and went back outsdie. He then walked up to Emma and Allis. "I'm back. What are you all doing? Why aren't I supposed to be here?"

Emma looked back around, releaved to see Henry with pants on. She quickly muttered a water spell, and shot cold water at Henry, to fully wake him up. "It sounds like you have a hangover." she muttered under her breath, when Henry asked what happened.

Looking around her, she got up and walked over to a group of bushes, and was about to use the growing spell on them when a fawn walked out from behind them. "Hello." she said softly to the baby. It was probably hungry, so she used the growing spell to grow the grass and bushes back to healthy so it could eat.

Alfie watched as more buds and leaves grow on the Wahoo tree and said, "nice job Emma."

The next thing Alfie knew was Emma was telling her not to turn around and said something about Henry not having any pants on.

As quick as a wink Alfie pulled out a pair of pants and through them over her shoulder. "Here Henry put them on and if they are to big I'll shrink them to fit you." It is a good thing Alfie was great at fixing clothes for people with magic.

Alfie found that she was too late Henry had already left so she picked up the pants and went back to work with the trees.

"Emma if the roots are stoung and moist then there is a good chance they can be saved if we help them every other day for a while."

Alfie know that she could feel the life in a tree but she didn't know if Emma could.

Emma shot water at Henry's face, and now he was fully awake.

Emma thought that Henry was having a hangover. "No, I wasn't having a hangover. I was sleep walking Emma."

Henry rubbed his eyes and then noticed that he couldn't see well, because he didn't have his contacts in. He took out his wand. He then said, "Accio Contacts." He then waited for a few seconds. Then his contact case came flying into his hands. He then put his contacts in. "Great now I can see."

Henry then looked around at Emma and Allis. "So what are you all doing this early in the morning/night?" Henry wasn't used to being up this late.

"Ok Alfie." she said with a smile. She didnt really have any tree sense, so she couldnt tell what needed to be done, so she was relying on Alfie to help her know what to do. She then heard Henry asking what they were doing. "We are cleaning up from the afterfacts of the storm." she said, as she helped a plant re-grow.

"If you want to Henry, we'll teach you what to do to help them." she said invitingly, figuring they could use all of the help they could get.

Emma basically asked Henry if he wanted to help. Henry looked at her happily. "Sure I'd love to help. What would you like me to do?" Henry streteched a little and rubbed his eyes. It was pretty late to do work. He was hoping that it wasn't much to do. But who knows.

He then took out his wand, and aimed it at himself. He then shot a spell at him that would wake him up more.

Emma frowned slightly and looked over at Alfie when Henry asked her what to do. "I guess just re-grow everything using this spell." she said before performing "Herbivacus" on one of the nearby plants. She heard a snap from a tree and looked up to see branch fall downtowards them. "Look out!" she said, pushing everyone out of the way.

A twig came flying down at them. Henry then yelled sarcaslty, "Oh No Emma a stick it's so scary!"

Henry then aimed is wand at a plant. "Herbivacus." The plant then began to grow. "Like that Emma?" Pfft, this was pretty easy.

Emma looked down at the large branch and then at Henry. "Oh yea Henry? You want to be all macho.." she said, and with a flick of her wand she used Wingardium Leviosa to lift the branch up, make it fly over Henry's head about ten feet, and then let it drop. It had enough room to gain acceleration so it would hurt a lot when it made contact with his head.

Emma moved the branch away from Henry's head, not that their was any point since it was only a branch and it wouldn't do anything to Henry.

Henry aimed his wand at the plants again. Again he said, "Herbivacus!" The plant grew more and began to plant. "Pfft. This job is so easy. Do you have anything harder for me." Henry was hoping so, because it was pretty late and it was probably only one hour later.

Emma cursed slightly at the boy, when the branch which was already big, somehow missed Henry's head. Pointing her wand at it, she enlarged it, and this time she used Wingardium Levoisa and made it hit Henry's head really hard, several times. "If you dont want to help, I'm not stopping you from leaving." she said to him, turning back to the trees and helping them grow.

Alfie was working on some of the other trees when she could here Emma and Henry talking in an angry voice, but Alfie knew she had little time to save as many trees as she could.

Not taking the time to look around she said, "Please stop that and help these trees they are needed for many healing potions, not to mention to make wands."

Alfie was waving her wand at as many trees as she could, giving just anough to each to keep them alive untill she could do more.

Emma made the branch enlarge and made it hit Henry's head. "Ow that hurt Emma."

Emma then said that if he didn't want to help then he could just leave. "What are you talking about Emma? I'm helping, I just made the plants plant more."

Henry pointed his wand at the plants. "Herbivicus!" The plants began to grow a little more. This was a pretty easy job.

"Well then stop complaining.." she muttered to him, before turning to Alfie as she kept helping the trees and bushes grow. She looked up to see that it had gotten dark and it was a full moon. She saw shadows around them, and figured that they were the other students until she heard a wolf howl that made her freeze, knowing exaclty what was en-circling them.

"Everyone stay quiet and try to relax." she said, eventhough her hands were slighlty shaking, hating it when she faced werewolves. She silently casted a shield around them, and continued on with her work, pretending not to be aware, eventhough she was trying to hear every step they moved.

Alfie heard noises in the woods and then heard Emma say to her and Henry to stay quiet and try to relax. Alfie thought she heard Uni so she wasn't scared.

"Emma it is just Uni, I wouldn't worry so."

All of the sudden Alfie heard noises of animals and Uni's song that she sung to calm other animals. To Alfie's surprise she then heard what sounded like Uni letting out a cry of pain and a twig break at the same time.

Alfie ran into the woods to where she thought the Uni was to help."Uni , Uni where are you? I'm coming don't worry. I'll help you." Alfie did not know that what had hurt IUni was werewolves, she thought that some branches fell on Uni. Though Alfie knew that Emma did know they where there.

Emma said that a wolf was coming. "Cool A wolf. I love wolves!" Alfie then said that it was only Uni. Henry looked at Alfie, "So is Uni your wolf Alfie?" Henry looked around. "I want to pet her/him, he/she is probably really cute. Am I right?"

Uni was and is a unusual pet. She looked like a miniture doberman pointer but, she had a horn in the middle of her head, wings that where twice as long as her body when unfolded, and fangs that where around an inch long. Uni was so sweet and loved Alfie for when she was having trouble giving birth to her little ones Alfie had saved one by not letting a wolf get it. Alfie was only able to save the one and Uni but Uni seamed to understand that Alfie did all she could.

Alfie Heard someone say something but was to worried about Uni to stop. Uni was Alfie very best friend and from the sound that she heard Uni was hurt of in trouble.

Emma got up and followed after Alfie, looking around to see where her friend went. After a couple of minutes of wandering around, she found Alfie who was still looking for Uni. "I'm sure Uni is fine." she told Alfie as she looked around for Uni. She then heard another noise, and looked to her left. "I think its coming from over there."

Henry began to hear some screaming and yelling. He looked at Emma. "What what's that noise Em-Emma?" Henry then decided to be brave.

He walked over to explore. Then all of a sudden-------

Something hit him hard, probably a bad spell. He was on the ground, and he looked like he had faited.

Emma looked over to see Henry trailing off, and then dissapearing into a different area. She didnt see him again for several more minutes, but she figured he was just off trying to look for Uni or something. "Alfie does Uni like something? Or can you make her make the sound again so we can try to find her?" she asked.

Henry woke up and then said, "Uh what what happened?" Then something went flying hard at his head and he screamed. Then another spell hit him in the chest, and he screamed again. Boy, Henry just wasn't having an aswome day today. Oh wel some people have their bad days on different days than others.

Alfie looked at Emma and said, "Uni usually sings when I call her but if she is hurt I don't think she will."

Alfie then called, "Uni, Uni please make a sound of some kind."

Then Alfie remembered something, "Accio Uni, " Alfie said strong and clearly so that the spell would work over a larger distance.

Alfie heard Henry any something and then heard a noise. Uni came flying to her from the direction Henry was in.

Uni had not flow to Alfie on her own but the spell had brought her to Alfie.

Alfie reached out to catch Uni when she noticed that Uni had a broken wing, and her to front legs where broken. It looked like something Heavy had hit her.

Alfie then looked around to see if Henry was coming but there was no sign of him. "Emma do you think we should go look for him?" Alfie said as she worked on Uni to make magical splits until they could get back to the school.

Then Alfie started in the ditection of Henry , she thought it was strange that he wasn't with them yet.

OOC: Did no one hear Henry scream.

BIC: Henry was suprised that no one came to him yet, he did afterall scream loud. He wanted to get up but he couldn't. "Help! Help! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He was now hoping that Alfie or Emma would come. He couldn't even move his hands at all whatsoever.

As Alfie headed Henry's way she heard him yell for help.

"Emma come on, Henry we are coming just hold on."

Alfie soon found Henry and didn't know what to think. "Henry you look okay why don't you get up?" Alfie held out her hand to help him but he didn't seam to move.

What is wrong Henry?" Alfie could feel that he was confused but she wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because for some reason Henry might not be able to move. So Alfie just waited to see what Henry told her so she could figure out what was wrong.

Alife told Henry that he looked fine, and that he should get up. She also asked him what's wrong. "Well the thing is. I can't move Alife! Can you take me to the hospital wing or something please?" Heny was in so much pain now, he hated this much pain. He was hoping that Alfie and Emma would help him out.

Emma smiled at Uni, glad that Alfie and Uni were re-united, eventhough Uni was hurt. It was better than nothing. She heard Henry scream and followed behind Alfie, rolling her eyes when she saw Henry. "Henry, get up." she said impatiently, the boy was perfectly fine. He was just lying down. "Are you hurt? Did you do something?" she asked.

Alfie heard Henry say that he couldn't move so she levitated Henry and then put Uni on him so that she would have two free hands.

"Uni, don't bite him if he moves. You do remember him from the train last year, don't you?" Alfie knew that Uni couldn't answer be by the way Uni looked at her she was sure Uni understood.

Alfie then made for the castle with Henry and Uni floating in front of her. "Don't worry trees I'll be back as soon as I can."

If it had just been Uni hurt Alfie would have sent her to their room so she could rest but with Henry hurt too she thought it best to take him back to the school.

Emma asked Henry if he was ok. "Of course I"m not ok. I got hit by TWO spells. I got a few things thrown at me too. So, no I'm not ok! I think I need to be taken to the hosptial wing right away."

Alife told the trees not to worry, and that she'll be back as soon as she can. "Uh.....Alife.....Why are you um......talking to the trees?" Henry thought that was kind of weird. But, maybe some people (like Alife) thought it was normal.

Emma laughed slightly when Henry said he got hit by several spells. "Well why didnt you put a shield up instead of yelling?" she asked as she walked along next to him as he and Uni were floating along. She heard him ask about the trees. Why did he care? she said to herself before answering his question, "Because Henry, Alfie actually cares about the environment and respects it." she said before adding, "Which obvisouly you do not." :P

Alfie looked down at Henry as he floated towards the castle.

"Have you ever heard that plants can feel emotions and responed to people talking around or to them, well it is true. If you let the plants know you will be back they will try hard to stay alive until you can help them. It's like a person that uses and muggle telephone and calls for help or knows that someone is looking for them. They can get way from where they are but they know that the people that love them will come looking for them, so they try to hold on until they get there. Well that is what I want the trees and plants to do. There is not much hop0e that the plants will make it but the trees are another thing."

Alfie then took a deep breath and continued to take Henry to the school and then to the hospital wing where she could check him out better. She needed to see what was wrong with Henry and why he couldn't move.
