Drake is concentrating real hard, so hard his face is starting to turn red. Finally after about two minutes the rock does a little wiggle. The third year slytherin is down by the lake sitting on a big boulder. He is working on his ANWA. It had been a while since he had last sat down and just tried it out. Drake had the bending/building part of his ability down but now he wanted to work on his plain out moving things ability. He knew it would be a while before he got it completely under control.

Down by the lake the wind was starting to pick up. Drake knew a storm was about to come but that just made him smile. His talents always seemed to work better in the rain. After he had made the rock wiggle all he could think about was getting it into the air. Someone could walk right up next to him and he probably wouldn't notice, he was too focused.

Scarlett was out for a stroll around the lake. She loved the way the air smelled before it rained and she often went for walks just to sniff it. Scarlett soon found that she was not alone. She could see the boy that had come into the shop with Allis, Drake she thought his name was. Scarlett had been wanting to make his acquaintance as he seemed to be dating her roommate. As she neared him she saw that his face was contorted in what looked to her like pain. Scarlett hurried over to stand very near to him. “Are you ok?” she asked breathlessly.

The dark clouds in the sky started to rain. Most of the animals around had already taken shelter. Drake was still just sititng there thinking, looking, and focusing on the rock. The only difference now was that a girl was standing beside him. He, howevere, had no idea she was there. Even when she spoke to him he didn't look up to her.

Finally after about another two more minutes the rock lifted of the ground. It stood in the air for a full nine seconds and then fell back to its place on the earth. Only then, after the rock fell did Drake notice the girl. He knew that she was a Gryffindor and was pretty sure they knew each other but he couldn't remember her name. "Hello there. I was just working on my ANWA. I can't beleive i jus got the rock to float though. I guess this rain helped." He said as he look straight up into the sky. He was totaly soaked through but Drake didn't really care.

A little otter was swimming in the lake enjoying the rainstorm, the squid and the waves it created. She had been practicing her otter form for while when a new boy came by the lake. he was a friend of hers from Slytherin Drake his name was. Howveer Cassie was shy around him, not only for the fact that she didnt know him that well, but for the fact that she, had taken his spot on the Quidditch team. But when Scarlett came along she decided to make an appareance. She swam towards the edge of the lake, little paws paddling. Climbing onto the shore the littlest otter crawled foward and looked at the pair with a friendly inquiring look.

When Scarlett got closer to the Slytherin boy she could see that he was staring at a rock. She put that together with the look on his face that now seemed more like concentration, and decided to be quiet least she interrupt some spell. It began to rain and Scarlett turned her face to the sky allowing the cool drops to kiss her face. When she saw movement from him she turned back to him and saw the pebble rise. Scarlett watched in fascination. Once the pebble was back on the ground Scarlett listened as he explained what he was doing. “Oh, well it looks like you did pretty well. Oh my name’s Scarlett by the way. You are Drake I believe. I think I saw you briefly in Madam Padfoots’ shop with my roommate Allis.” Just then out of the corner of her eye Scarlett saw a small otter patter up onto the shore of the lake. Scarlett had never seen Cassie take her animagus shape, but she had heard it was an otter. “Cassie is that you? Bark once for yes.”

The rain started to lighten up a bit. "Thanks, if you think thats good you should see what else I can do with my ANWA. Hello Scarlett, nice to meet you. Yes, I am Drake. Allis is your roomate? Well, I'm sorry to say this but when I broke up with her I think I really recked her." Drake seriously looked at Scarlett for the first time. She was very pretty, for a GFryffindor. Drake hadn't noticed the otter staring at the pair untill Scarlett pointed it out and asked it if it was Cassie. Drake had seen Cassie in her otter form before now and was sure it was her. "I wish I could be an animagus but I had no idea what I would want to be so I ended up working on my ANWA that I had discovered before I got to Hogwarts. Drake's normally spiky hair was now lying flat on his head in a wet moppy fashion.

Chase had come up in time for him to hear Scarlett tell Cassie to bark. Which he laughed at a bit. "Otter's don't bark dear." He said with a grin. "Dogs bark..." He grinned slightly at this for the simple fact that, well, he WAS a dog. When he fancied at least. "I'd be happy to bark for you if you like, but you'd have a better time getting your cat to chirp in forbidden tounges than getting an otter to bark." Shrugging slightly he smiled again. "Plus, Cassie can't even bark when she's a human... Believe me." Chase wasn't exactly, familiar, with Drake. But, he wasn't supposed to be happy with the guy. Still, he didn't mind him. "Sup?"

Another boy, whom Drake did not know very well, walked over to them and started picking on Scarlett about her comment on otters barking. Normally Drake knew a lot more about animals than others did but seeing as an otter isn't a magical creature he knew just about nothing. "Um, hey. Just working an getting things to move with my mind. I did it once before to send a paper airplane message to my boyfriend but i hadn't really tried I just thought about it going to him. By the way, I'm Drake. We might have met before but my memory is worth crap and I tend to forget people." The rain had now stopped completely. Drake took his wand out and dried everyong of with it and then he changed his blue shirt into his pink shirt with a snake on it. He liked showing of the shirt because he had made it himself.

Cassie made a little happy squeak and nodded to Scarlett. she loved the rain. She ran around a few times and climbed up onto Drakes shoulder then up onto Scarletts. Then Chase showed up and she sttled back on the ground. After a few momentx she Changed back into herself and attacked Drake in a hug. She still felt a bit guilty that she had stolen the seeker spot but she thought they got over that. "Drakee" she said happily waving to Scarlett then a small wave to Chase. She brushed a wet bang out of her hair and grinned at Drake. "You better be showing up to the dorm party later"she said.

Scarlett was about to tell the insufferable Summerview that otters made a barking sound and many people refered to their noise as barking, when Drake turned the conversation back to his ANWA power. Then Cassie sqeaked and began running around everyone in her otter form. Scarlett was glad she was wearing clothes she didn't mind ruining because she new she'd be walking in the rain because Cassie left otter prints all over her. Then Cassie changed back into her human form. "Well I can see how that talent would have many uses," Scarlett drawled. "I can see why you are tryin' to develope it."

Drake laughed as Cassie ran all over them in her otter form. There was no prints on his shirt because when he made it he put a spell on it to keep it clean from everything. AFter sitting watching them for a bit she finally turned back into her human form and instantly gave Drake a huge hug. He thought she must be feeling sorry that she took his position but he really didn't mind. He did bail on the team after all. "Hey Cassie. Maybe i will show up. Maybe i won't." Then he turned to Emma and replied, "Yeah I think it is really great. I have some really neat things planned for it." "Hmm..." Drake reached down and started picking out peices of grass then after a second of thought he reached down again and grabbed the two necklaces with flower penants that was all maded of grass. "MAy I?" He said looked at the two girls hoping they would allow him to put the necklaces on them.

“Certainly you may,” Scarlett said smiling at Drake. She fought the urge to duck her head the way she would if he were going to be lowering the daisy chain over head himself. Instead Scarlett just tried to keep as still as she could so to make it easier on Drake. “When did you figure out you could do this?” she asked to make conversation.

Drake smiled as he put the necklace of Scarlett's willing head. It looked good on her he thought to himself. "Do you like it?" He hoped they both did. That was a very simple example of his ability. Some of his other stuff is a lot cooler. He answered Scarlet, "Well I first found out i had the ability when i was four. At first i just thought it was my magic but then i realized thats not something most people could do. I had been working with my grandpa, we were making a wooden rocking horse and i got frustrated because it was taking so long so i had turned around and thought about it being built. When I turned back around it was. As I had said earlier I first found out I could actually just move objects was in class and I had wanted to sent a paper airplane to my boyfriend." He had kind of been caught up in telling them how he found out that he didn't realize he still had the necklase for Cassie in his hand.

Scarlett inspected the magical necklace of flowers smiling, “Thank you, it’s lovely.” She was normally a diamonds and pearls type of gal, but she had to admit that these flowers so skillfully woven had their own charm. For one thing the flowers didn’t really look like any that she recognized and they gave off a heady aroma that Scarlett like very much. She made a mental note to ask Alfie about them when she got back to her dorm room. “It must be very nice to create with your power,” Scarlett said. She looked down at the flowers around her neck her dark thick lashes shielding the sorrow in her emerald eyes.

Cassie grinned at Drake. "You better show up. Otherwise. I will be partying by myself. And I will be sad. And you dont want me sad do you" she said batting her eyelashes playfully, then laughing. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ears. "Surely. Its such a pretty necklace Drakey. Thanks" she said laughing. She listened to Drakes story and smiled. She really liked listening to his story. She bent her head low so Drake could put on the necklace. She really did appreciate his necklace making skills and she liked flowers.

"Your welcome Scarlett." Drake liked his ability and it helped that other people did too. It seemed the girls really liked it when he created his famous necklase. When Cassie started teasing him about the dance he said, "Okay. I'll show up but only if you promise me a dance." When he had he concent to but the knecklase on her, he did so. "Thank you and you welcome. I think that flower looks really good on it. I'm not sure what it is. Alfie would probably know." The sun was now out complately.

Cassie let out a laugh and fingered the necklace absent mindedly. She loved things like this. Whether it was flowers or her seashells nature felt more beautiful to her then diamonds and the such. Cassie raised her arms a bit to strectch Causing her belly button ring to glimmer in the now completly exposed sunlight. Looking down she giggled."I always forget I have it in" she commented. Looking back at Drake she grinned brightly. "Ok You got that dance" she replied with a smile. Once again her fingers traveled up to her neck to finger her new necklace. She did this often with jewlery. Nervous habit perhaps or simple something she did. She brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes.
