Hey guys, I know this is short notice, but I have an interview tomorrow for a graphics arts position at school. I was wondering if anyone who was able go through my banners and what not and pick out some of your favorites that I can put in a portfolio.

Anyone who helps me in this endeavor will get a free banner made by moi.....

well to start off i love the zodiac knights one as well as the one that you made of the music cd but thats just off the top of my head i have to leave to work now but i'll try and post here again tonight

Everyone was complimenting the last one that you made for me. it was really really good. plus I loved the one that you made for me and liam. I adored that one and I think it lived in my sig longer than any other banner I've had.

Yeah, I loved the last one you made for Mel, as well as the one in your sig right now. Out of your older ones (the ones closer to the beginning of the thread) I like the one on pg. 5 (Leo-Lioness) and the one at the very bottom of page six.

This is my top five. I tried to pick different kinds of banners. And I tried to do it from the stand point of a graphic artist. From the chat box this morning I think we all know that I don’t know much, but I can imagine what would sell. And I know what evokes deeper feelings than, “Look at that pretty picture.” You are an amazing artist Leo and I hope that you go far doing something that you love.

Witchy Woman – I guess I had forgotten you had done this one. It is so great. It is sexy without being raunchy. Flashy without being trashy.

Juke Box Hero, Album Cover and Back – This could be a real insert in a CD case. The lines are perfect and the bright colors that make up Leo pop on the gray background, but the background is still interesting in its texture. And the way that your foot overlaps the lion looks like Carrie Underwood must have actually been sitting with a lion.

Zodiac Scouts – I want to read this story just by looking at the picture. That is the surest sign of a graphic success. Making people want to spend there money or time on something just by looking at a picture.

Release Your Inner Rocker – The colors are eye catching and the balance between words and picture is appealing. Your love of subject and message are apparent.

Memories returned – This one was a long time ago for me, but it is still my favorite banner. I don’t know how much touching up you had to do with the picture, but I love the effect of the sparkle behind the subject. It was the perfect choice to go with the soft sadness in her face. Thank you so much for that gift.

The menagerie one is fantastic and pretty much the ones Scarlett said where the ones that really stick up in my memory after going through the entire thread. Hope that helps ya out.

The ones I like are:

Down To Kokomo
- I love that one because its just so pretty to look at and it is relaxing and a fun banner.

Nala/Leo Princess
- I love this one because it uses cartoons which is different then a lot of your other ones.

Zodiac Scouts
- I love this banner, the graphics and details are just..wow!

Dan And Leo
- I dont know why, but I think I stared at this banner along with the ice skating one for like 4 minutes. I think it was there expressions in the banner, but it was just amazing.

Sismprs Contigo
- The way you blended the two pics together is really cool and I remember always liking that one!

And also any meatloaf song lyric banners are just fantabulous, because its..well Meatloaf! Duh!! :P

well thanks for your help guys...Hopefully I put together an impressive banner...The interview went alright, I doubt they'll hire me because of my lack of experience with other programs outside of photoshop, but i did express interest in learning, and my ability to learn things quickly....

Well now you know what you need to work on for next time. Become familiar in other programs. And at least you got some experience in the interview process, which is valuable in itself.
