After saying goodbye to her tearful parents on the platform katie confidently boreded the train and began to look for an empty compartment. After what seemed like hours of searching and saying hi to older students that she new she finally found one and after sliding the door closed, securing her trunk and owl (chichi) the train began to move.

Siting herself next to the window she prepared herself for the trip watching the landscape change and impatiently awaiting her first year at Hogwarts.

Remy noticed a new student get onto the train and watched her enter one of the compartments. After seeing all the students onto the train he made his way back to the compartment he had seen the new student enter and he knocked a few times then entered it. "Hi i'm Remy, what's your name? he asked her as he smiled politely at her.

"Hi! My name's Katie." she said turning around to face the new occupant of the compartment and smiling her smile that made everyone else around her want to smile to, no matter what mood they were in. "I'm a first year i cant wait to get to Hogwrats. I've heard so much about it. What house are you in? Do you like Quidditch? I do. Katie said so quickly that it seemed she didn't take a single breath. It was obvious she liked to talk.

Cassie had been having another screaming match with her father on the platform before boarding the train. He never did learn that man... She hadnt really changed all too much. Her hair was still red and still in its beachy waves. However today she wore a pair of shortsa and a green cami. She slung her duffel bag over her shoulder watching as some firstie began to say hi to a bunch of older kids. A few were some sixth year Slytherins who seemed to laugh as she walked away. Cassie came over and greeted them, accepting their hgs and high fives. As she looked for an empty compartment the Australian flag on her bag waved a bit from the pace. She enteredd one quickly and leaned against the door. "G'day Remy...new person"

Smirking as he walked out of a compartment filled with naive first years, Logan began whistling as he walked down the corridor. He had been weaving tales about how being sorted meant having to run through the Whomping Willow. They shook in their seats, trying to figure out ways to get out of the dreadful task. Logan reasoned that he wasn't being mean, it was their own fault for believing him.

Satisfied with a small act of mischief, Logan knocked on a compartment door and slid it open half way. "Ello, mind if I join?" He nodded to Cassie and Remy, and then noticed an unfamiliar face sitting inside as well. Grinning, Logan nodded to her, "First year?"

Whilst katie had been talking to Remy, two more students had entered hte compartment and joined them. Both of them had inquired into who she was so thinking that it'd be noce to introduce heself.

She sat up straighter and greeted them "Hi. Yeah im a first year. My names Katie." She said introducing herself to both of the new commers to the compartment. "And you would be?" she asked grining.

"Katie? Good to meet you then. I'm Logan." He said, sliding the compartment door open. Weaving past Cassie, he slumped into the seat opposite Katie. He looked out the window, "Still got a ways to go anyway." The halfway mark was still not in sight, but he directed his attention back to the compartment. Smirking, Logan was tempted to weave his tale about the sorting and Whomping Willow, but this girl seemed pretty nice, so he decided againat it. Instead he did ask, "So, are there any houses you hope to get into?"

Emilie wandered down the narrow train corridor, looking for a compartment. She finally came to one where she recognized most of the faces inside. She poked her head in, "Hey guys! Can I join you?" she asked sliding in and sitting down next to Logan. She turned to the girl she didn't know, "Hi, I'm Emilie." she said smiling at her. She guessed by the girl's obvious excitement that she was a first year.

"Good to see you love," He smiled as Emilie walked in, and put an arm around her shoulders. "This one's a trouble maker. Don't be fooled by that innocent face. I mean, Ravenclaw was once rumored to be an academic, kind, quiet house before this'n came along!" He told Katie, smirking to his girlfriend. Turning quickly back to the first year, he corrected his mistake, "Nah, she's a nice one."

Cassie watched as Logan slung his arm around Emilie. "Emilie you Cheating on me, with this man who!" she said putting her hands on her hips and pretending to look appraised. "Whats he got that I dont" she said again breaking into gigles seconds later. "Hi...I'm Cassie, Fifth year Slytherin" she said with a small laugh.

Twyla sighed as her sister Tara talked to her in rapid frence on the platform.Twyla ignored her and then ran onto the train.Laughing as she waved goodbye she sighed and walked down the corridor.She was wearing a black beret on her head and a pair of white jeans with big shin high boots and a tie dye halter top.She spotted a few of her friends in one compartment with a first year and pulled the door open." 'ello.Zummer been good Cazz?Remy?Emilie?Logan?Other girl?I'm Twyla Burke I'm a firzt year Ravenclaw.Mind my 'orrid accent.It zhould be gone zoon"Twyla said sitting down next to Cassie.

Smiling and laughing Katie introduced herself to Emilie and Twyla. Then tried to answer Logans question "Hmm not really sure. I'd really like Ravenclaw, but then again im not really fazed by what house im in. They all sound pretty cool to moi. Oh and your accent Twyla, is so not 'orrid'.

Remy looked around as hte compartment got crowded with more people and he walked over to Katie. "I hope whatever house you get into me and you can be freinds" he smiled. "If you ever need anything just ask for me, remember my names Remy and im one of the prefects of the school" he grinned as he made his way out of the compartment.

'You'll get annoyed with eet truzt me."Twyla said laughing.She looked at Remy and said 'Remy eet eez illegal to uze unforgivable curses aye?"Twyla asked.'Not t'at I am gonna uze t'em or anyt'ing".She threw at nut to her talkative bird and thankfully it shut up.

Cassie laughed at Twyla's accent pretending to laugh at the joke. It was proven that Australian accents were most sexy. "Naw Twyla. Using those curses is like standing in front of an angry momma boomer. Simply dont do it" she said with a chuckle and a knowing look to Remy. "of course...I know not'in bout them Right remy" she asked with a small laugh.

"Yea' me neit'er just wondering.Twyla said yawning.'And yea' uz Ravenz are pretty cool until it comez to detention"Twyla said remembering her first detention.She then said 'I guess Slytherin are alright bit evil though"Twyla said laughing.

Emilie rolled her eyes and smiled at Cassie and Logan's comments. She looked up as the compartment door slid open and Twyla entered. She assumed that Twyla had probably gone to France again over the summer, judging by the change in her accent.

She smiled at the first year girl who'd introduced herself as Katie, before looking around the compartment and asking, "So how were your summers? Did anybody do anything especially interesting?"

Cassie twitched semi noticibly at Twyla's accent. The French, in her opinion, had the most god damn annoying accents. She sent a sexy wink to Emilie then burst into giggles. turning back to the compartment she smiled brodly at them. "Well This May come as a complete bloody shock but this summer I surfed..." she said letting out s pretend gasp.
