Emma quickly walked down to the lake where she had been setting up her party all day long. The house elves had volunteered to help her, and within the last hour they told her to go get changed while they finished. She now came down the hill to find the area perfect.

The sun was beginning to set, and to provide light, there had been lights hung throughout the trees along with floating candles on the lake. There was a buffet area that had your normal picnic/party food along with several hot dishes such as soups, pastas, pizzas, hot dogs, burgers and subs. Across from the lake there was a dance floor with a stage set up for karoke and a DJ. It was perfect.

She was wearing a casual emerald green short, strapless summer dress. With her brown hair let loose with curls, and her green eyes which looked like they were dancing with excitement, she was ready for the party to start and her guests to arrive. She usually would not throw a party for graduating to the next year, but this case was different. Not only did this party celebrate her graduation, but it also celebrated the beginning of summer and everyone else who had or would soon graduate to the next year.

Cassie was happy for Emma. She had only recently graduated to fifth year as well. She spent the day in her dorm preparing herself and Emma's present for the party. She always spent about two days on each person's present.She had finally finished her present and was super excited. She grabbed the large basket she had packed and set off for the party. In the basket Cassie had placed a magical photoalbum, a large supply of candy, a box of some of her favorite pranks and tucked inside a plain white envelope a trip to Spain for her and Mark, a family friend of hers had a house in Barcelona and never was in it so Cassie asked them fis he could and they agreed. She made her way down to the lake, dressed in a light blue dress with a silver bow around her waist and flip flops. Her hair was down in soft curls and she jogged the rest of the way. "Hey Emma!" she greeted hugging her friend and handing her the basket.

Henry was walking around the lake and looking for Emma's party, he then saw Emma and walked over. He saw all the neat stuff and siad to Emma, "Wow the stuff looks aswome, this is going to be a totaltey rad party Emma. Oh ya. Happy 5th Year."

BIC: Henry walked over and grabbed the karoke mircrophone. He began to sing a song too.

OOC: Wow..someone was a little eager for the Karaoke machine.

Emma was about to turn on the music, when she saw Cassie coming down, looking extremely cute. "Oh my god, you look amazing! Thanks for coming!" she said hugging her friend who then handed her a basket. Grinning, Emma opened it, becoming more excited with every time she opened something in it. Finally, she looked up at Cassie.."Cass you didnt have to do all of this, and I am afriad now that I have seen it, you can't take it back!" she said jokingly, while sitting the basket on a table. "I love them, thank you." she said.

She then heard Henry join them, and congratulate her. "Thankyou, and thanks for coming!" she said happily to her fellow Ravenclaw, who immediately sung a song on the karakoe machine. After he was done, Emma grinned, and quickly walked over to the DJ system, which she finally figured out how to work it. Putting on the club mix, she played, "Don't Stop the Music" by Rihanna.

Walking back over to Cassie, she said.."I finally figured out how to work the DJ system, so hopefully we wont have an incident like we did at Sabrina's party!"

As Emma was setting up for her party, Logan was busy getting ready for it. After an hour or two, he finally settled on a blue and white striped button down shirt, a brand new pair of AE jeans, and a clean pair of converse. He fastened on an old chain inherited from his father. Logan's hair probably took the most time. At first he had it all spiked up, but immediately got rid of that idea. Then he combed it back. However, he knew Emma wouldn't let him forget how dorky it looked. He finally settled on it just being flat. After a glance in the mirror, he picked up the wrapped gift on the corner of his desk and headed down to the lake.

He hoped that Emma would like her gift. He had first ordered a bouquet to be delivered to the party. Not that she would find out, because he asked for the name to be anonymous. Logan had bought a new pair of quidditch goggles, and had her initials placed on the side, a special case of butterbeer minus the spirits, a color changing photo frame that held a picture of the team, and he wrote a vow that he would keep his half of the room neat

Once he reached the lake, he saw that Cassie had already arrived. " 'Ello!" He set his present aside on the table and walked over to the two girls. "Hey Cass!" He hugged the girl, and then turned to the girl of the hour. "Congrats, Emma." He smiled, giving his roomie a hug. He was really happy for her, he knew how hard she had worked.

Leona walked down to the lake where Emma was holding a graduation party. She was eager to go and have some fun, though she doubted she'd be staying late. Dalejin needed to talk to her about something. Any excuse she had to sneak away and see him is fine by her.

Leona was wearing a pair of bluejeans and her favorite black t-shirt with the word star wars on it. She spun her sailor moon wand around a few times, then nearly dropped it as she heard someone assaulting the karaoke system.

Through gritted teeth she insisted that the purpose of Karaoke was to have fun. She nearly snickered when she saw it was Henry singing.

Leona walked quickly past him to congratulate Emma. Her present for the new 5th year would be that her new greyhound pup was on the house. Leona handled her bill quite sometime ago.

Very quickly, several things happened. The first, was that her dog Leala bounded down the hill and stopped right in front of Emma, happy to see it's owner. Smiling down, she pet Leala but stopped when a house elf appeared right beside her, holding a beautiful bouqet of flowers. Handing the flowers to Emma, it then disapeared. "Umm..ok." she said to no one in particular, glancing up at Cassie with a confused look. She eventually found the tag and saw that it was from anonymous. "Well, I will have to find out who sent it, because its amazing." she said as she sat it down in the middle of the table which was beginning to collect presents.

Logan then joined the group, who gave her a wrapped present. Opening it, she beamed at him. "I love it Logan, thankyou!" she said, before adding.."Can I frame this and hang it?" she asked referring to the cleaning vow. She then gave him a hug, reminding herself of how awesome her roomie was.

After releasing Logan from the hug, she looked up to see Leo walking down, glancing over in disgust at Henry singing. Rushing up to her friend, she gave her a hug, and whispered in her ear.."Dont worry I am taking care of it. It'll be yours in no time." she said with a grin, while walking with Leo back to the group of people. "Thanks for the gift. It's perfect." she said, referring to Leala who ran up and greeted Leo, recognizing the girl who Emma had goten Leala from.

Leona blinked at Emma. How'd she know about that already? It was a surprise, and she was pretty sure she had told no one. "How'd you know about my present?" She asked Emma confused but couldn't help but want to dance as they got closer to the music.

She accepted Emma's hug, "No problem Emma...make sure you and mark Have fun in SPain" she said with a small smile. Cassie then ran over and threw her arms around her best friend Lolo, attack hugging him. "Hey...Looking fine Mr. Lolo!" she said with a small grin growing on her face. "I know I am no Emilie...but may I have this dance" she asked him with a grin, holding out her hands.

Chuckling, Logan nodded. "If you insist. Besides, seeing it everyday will probably be more encouraging." He joked. He smiled and waved at Leo. Before glancing over to see who was using the kareoke machine, Logan quickly glanced to the bouquet. It looked perfect. Smiling to himself, he turned and saw that Henry was playing out his inner "Idol" he believed it was called. He smirked to himself, remembering that he had wanted to be in the band all those months ago. He turned his attention back to the rest of the party.

"You're looking great yourself, Cass." He grinned and nodded. "But of course mon cheri!" Logan held out a hand for her.

Emma looked up at Leo oddly. "Umm..what do you mean?" she said. "I know you went through a lot of trouble getting Leala for me, and I thought that was my gift." she said, before adding.."And I really appreciate it. I love her, she is perfect. Oh, and dont worry I will make sure I pay you back as soon as I can. I tried to stop in today, but I understand that you were busy, so I'll just come some other time." she said with a smile, noticing that Logan was taking Cassie out to the dance floor. "Hey Logan, are you stealing me dance partner?" she called out jokingly, before turning her attention back to Leo.

Leona laughed, "Silly twit of a bird. Leala's on the house, I picked up the tab, so stop bugging me about it," she said with a smile. Glad she didn't catch wind of her actual present. She looked around at all the people assembled and knew this was going to be a popular party.

Cassie grinned at Logan and watched as Henry released his inner Idol. She blushed slightly remebering an incident that had happenedd a few months before it. She smiled at Logan brightly. "well I'm glad I can fill Emilie's shoes" she said with a small smile as she grabbed his outstrecthed hand and motioned towards the Dance floor.

It's a good thing Emma got a nice day for this party, not a cloud in the sky! He looked up to the sky. Hearing Emma, he laughed. "I do believe I have." He nodded jokingly. As they walked toward the dance floor Logan glanced back to Cassie. "Well love, let's see what you've got." Taking her other hand, Logan began moving to the music.

Chase was a bit late. He had a present for Emma, but he sucked at gift giving. It was just a muggle watch. An expensive one, but still, he doubted it would be any good to her compared to whatever else she got. He saw the many people around and had the same thought Leo had. This'll get busy... Making the little box with the stupid gift smaller, he put it in his pocket. He'd make sure to give it to her after everyone else left. Chase smiled as he saw Logan and Cassie dancing and decided to scout out a partner of his own. His eyes scanned everyone.

Cassie smiled at Logan as The Anthem played. "Well then Logan...I do see that it will be you keeping up with me...hope you can manage that" she said dancing with him. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw Chase and grinned at him then turned his glance back to Logan.

Emma's mouthed dropped in shock/excitement. "You're joking right?!" she said to Leo, but quickly figured out that her friend was not joking. "Oh thankyou, thankyou!" she said hugging her friend again, before quickly releasing. Laughing at her stupidness, she grinned while saying.."Silly twit of a bird, eh?" :P

She looked over to see Chase join the group, and she quickly waved to him before he went over and began dancing with Cassie, and Logan. The music had been playing "Don't Stop the Music" by Rihanna, but now it switched to (ummm..thinks real quickly) "Pump It" by the Black Eyed Peas.

Logan nodded to Chase as he entered, hoping that he didn't mind the dancing arrangement at the moment. Laughing he turned to Cassie. "Oh that won't be a problem at all." Tapping in to his dancing background, He began moving swiftly to the Anthem. That band sure did help, he smirked inwardly. Once Rihanna came on, he chuckled but adjusted himself to the song. "Pretty opposite from the last one, eh?" Logan grinned.

Emily had received the invitation from Emma about now being a new 5th year, she was so happy for her, there are not that many people who can say they have got that far.
Emily walked down to the lake and saw a decent group of people enjoying themselves, she looked around for Emma so she could congratulate her on her achievement. Once she stopped her she ran over "congratulations chick!" She said pulling her into a hug "how it feel?" She asked "you can apparate now!" Emily said excited for Emma. She then broke away from her and dug deep into her bag bring out a small package wrapped in blue and silver paper tied with a blue bow. "Its not much." Emily said "but you may find it useful" Emily said winking at her. inside was a broomstick navigator with a built in light so she could see her way through the dark.

Scarlett was late for the same reason as usual. She didn’t know how she would ever break Bella of the habit of attacking owls. Luckily the one that had delivered Emma’s invitation had escaped with all its feathers.

Scarlett made her way to the dance floor where Emma was, “Congratulations Emma,” Scarlett said holding out a bottle to her friend. It was clear glass and filled with water. The stopper at the top was silver and had five little sapphire chips in it, perfect for the new fifth year Ravenclaw. “It has a permanent refilling charm on it so that it is never more than ¾’s empty. The water comes from a Spring in the Sacramento Mountains in New Mexico. It s’posed to be the purest water in the world.” Scarlett knew Emma would love it.

Emma ran over to Emily and hugged her fellow Ravenclaw. It hadnt even occured to Emma that she could now learn how to apparate. "Oh my god, you're right!" she said happily, before opening Emily's present. "Thank you so much." she said, remembering how she read about the navigation system a long time ago, and how it can really improve your quidtich game.

Scanning the area, Emma was happy to see that almost everyone had hit the dance floor. Desperately, she wanted to join them, and was about to before she saw Scarlett. "Hey!" she said, happily bouncing over to her friend, who held out a bottle of water to her. "Thanks." Emma said, while looking at the drink. She didnt exactly understand what it did until Scarlett told her. Instantly a grin appeared on her face as she took off the cap and drank some of the water. It was so good! And instantly it refilled itself. "Woah." she said, before turning to Scarlett.."Thankyou, Thankyou! I love it!"

Emily grinned "well i'm glad you like it!".
Emma then disappeared onto the dance floor, so Emily decided to go and grab herself a butterbeer or maybe something stronger like a firewhisky, Once Emiy got over to the table she opted for the firewhisky and popped the top off and drank a bit of it before moving over to the dance floor where she started to dance.

Henry acutally had a present for Emma but he used an invisible spell on it. He used the revesrbile spell on it and it came visible. He handed her the present, in it was a thing of firewhiskey that keeps on refilling itself when you drink it. Henry looked at Emma and siad, "Are we going to play a game now? How about spin the bottle?" Henry took out a thing of spray and sprayed in it his mouth.

Stilll on the dance floor, Logan noticed a few more people make their entrance. Scarlett and Emily had joined. He waved to them, and then went back to dancing with Cassie. Soon the pace of the music changed once again, and Logan's guilty pleasure song, "Thks fr th mmrs" came on. Grinning he looked at Cassie as he really started dancing to the song.

A few minutes passed and the song had ended. Panting, Logan looked to Cassie, "I'm going to take a breather. Get some water or something. Want any?" He asked through breaths, overhearing Henry's question of spin the bottle.

Emma smiled, "Thanks Henry!" she said taking the gift and putting it with the others. Turning back around, she saw that he was asking her about spin the bottle. "Umm.." she said while looking around. Seeing that Logan had left the dance floor, she quickly waved him over. "Logan, Henry is wondering about spin the bottle. I am sure you guys can come up with something." she said, before leaving the two and heading over to Cassie.

Chase moved over to Emma and Cassie now. "Ladies." He said with a smile to the both of them before turning to just Emma. "Great party! I've got you something, but you can't have it till there's nobody here to laugh at my present choices." He said with a slight nod as he felt the now tiny box in his pocket. "I'm not the best at present giving..." He explained before letting his gaze fall upon the -now dance partner absent- Cassie. "Why hello dear. Having fun I suppose?"

Scarlett watched Henry give Emma her gift. She was a bit annoyed that he had ripped off her gift idea, but she was consoled with the fact that she knew Emma didn’t drink firewhiskey. In fact, the Ravenclaw prefect didn’t usually drink anything but water, which was the reason Scarlett had chosen the gift she had. She rolled her eyes in Henry’s direction. “I don’t think spin the bottle is a very good idea. Only Cassie and Chase would be safe.”

"No problem Chase." she said with a grin, as she moved over towards Scarlett, knowing that she had just lost her possible dance partner to Chase. Emma laughed softly as she walked over to Scarlett. She could tell by the look on her friend's face that they were both thinking along the same lines.

Standing beside Scarlett, she said lightly.."Come on let's go dance and leave the boys to their business.".

Scarlett smiled greatfully at Emma as she let herself be led to the dance floor. There was another Ravenclaw there who had been hugging Emma earlier and Scarlett smiled at her. “My name is Scarlett. I don’t think we have been introduced.” The girl looked to be about Scarlett’s age. Scarlett knew that people came and went from Hogwarts all the time and she was eager to meet this returnee.

Melie rushed down to the lake. She couldn't believe that she was late for Emma's party, she was never late, especially for a party. Melie could hear the chatter and music as she approached and quickly took a look at her clothes to make sure that all was still good. She was wearing a short army green skirt and plain white t-shirt with some white flip flops and a black army style hat. She looked for Emma in the crowd of people and when she spotted her with Scarlett Melie rushed over and gave her a hug.
"Emma! I'm sorry I'm late! I lost track of time!" Melie explained. "Have I missed anything?"

Cassie came over to Chase and grinned wrapping him in a tight hug. "Ya know. You have a very jealous Ravenclaw girl who wants to dance with me" she teased him laughing and twirling around. "Hey..you wanna dance" she asked him. She waved to Melie and Scarlett as they showed and grabbed CHase's hands wanting to go on the dance floor.

Chase hugged her back and smiled slightly when she waved. "How on earth can I dance now if I've got it on my conscience that I've made a Ravenclaw jealous?" He asked with a slight tone of mockery in his voice. Taking a breath and shrugging he let himself smile. "She'll get over it..." He said letting her almost drag him until they got to where she wanted to be.

Henry looked at Emma and said, "Please can we play spin the bottle?! I've only played it once and I had to make out with a guy, so I left. And if we do play, if a guy spins to a boy or a girl to a girl do they have to do it or not? It'd make it more intense and interesting if we did, but either way works for me." Henry then yelled out, "Why would Cassie and Chase be the only safe ones? Chase could spin me, eeeeew gross wouldn't be happy with that. And Cassie could spin Emma or some other girl hot stuff." Henry laughed at the though of Cassie making out with a girl, but he didn't wanna gross anyone out so he didn't say anymore about that thought.

Em couldnt believe she had forgotten to introduce Emily to Scarlett. They were practically standing next to each other! "Oh Scarlett, how stupid of me! This is Emily, she is one of my Ravey pals and chasers." she said with a grin, before being hugged by someone she had not seen coming. At first she thought it was Cassie, but then she recognized the voice as Melie's.

"Hey Mel!" she said happily, turning around to look at her friend. Laughing when Melie asked if she had missed anything, she nodded her head towards Henry who was yelling about boys kissing boys and stuff like that. "I think Henry wants to kiss Logan, badly." she said softly so only the near by girls (Scarlett, Emily and Melie) could hear. Putting her hand over her mouth to quiet her laugh, she finally calmed down. "And he sang karoke, and Chase stole one of my dance partners!" she said with a grin.

Leona had over heard Henry want to play spin the bottle. Quite frankly, she was ridiculously disgusted. "Look, Hens, If there's a girl you want to make out with so badly- do it, but don't make the rest of us suffer your....dare i say pervyness," she added with a shudder.

Henry could be a nice kid, when he tried, but passionately trying to get others to play spin the bottle, made him seem...well you know...

Cassie looked at Henry with an amused grin on her face. She was thouroghly amused and somewhat creeped out by his insitance on playing Spin the bottle. "I wouldnt mind playing a game of spin the bottle for two' she whispered in CHase's ear pecking his cheek and twirling around as they danced to some random song, Cassie wasnt paying attention to it.

Jojo, for practically the first time, was late.
It was for a good reason, though...
It was a big day for Emma, her best friend, and Jo had taken her time to carefully wrap Emma's presents. And, she was quite proud of it, because they were something that she knew for a fact that Em would love.
Trying not to grin too much, Jo walked down to the lake, the place looking absolutely stunning. The candles floating on the lake especially drew her attention, and Jo knew that Em had taken special time for those.

Jo looked around, trying to spot Emma, and smiling around at everyone. Finally, she found her, and walked up to Em, tenderly holding onto the two boxes, wrapped in shiny black wrapping paper, covered with silver stars.

"Hey, Em," she said cheerfully, and held out the packages.
"I think you'll find these to your liking, your fifth year-ness."

Inside the boxes, as Emma would soon find out, were Juicy Couture purses, one pink and one yellow:

Emma started dancing to the music, when she heard Jo's voice. Spinning around, she grinned at Jo. "Hey!" she said happily, glancing at the boxes like a 5 year old at Christmas. "Can I open them?" she asked, taking the presents before Jo could answer and walking over to the table where the other gifts were. Opening them slowly, she smiled at the two purses that Jo and Emma had spotted when they had gone shopping before.

"How did you know?" she asked jokingly. "Thankyou!" she said, hugging her friend. Putting the boxes down with the purses tucked inside, she led Jo over to the dance floor. "Shall we for old times sake?" she asked with a grin.

Jo hugged Em back tightly.
"You're so very welcome!" she said with a grin.

Jo, naturally, let herself be pulled over to the dance floor.
"We shall," she said in response to Emma.
Slowly, she spun around once, and curtsied mockingly to her friend, holding out her hand.

"Good job decorating, by the way," she added to her friend.

"Thankyou." Emma said with a grin, taking Jo's hand and twirling her around. "You were late today." she said tauntingly, enjoying that fact that Jo had broken her usual perfectness. :P . Releasing her friend's hand, Emma began to move to the music, looking around as she danced. Hmm..he wasnt here. she commented to herself. Glancing down at Jo, she put on a fake smile, knowing that Jo could easily read her like a book. "So what is Sil up to?" she asked.
