As Allis layed in the Hospital Wing bed she felt like crying. So she did. Every patient there was either asleep or unconchess. She wanted Kaz there with her. She couldnt remember a single thing in her life. It was like tourcher for her. Before she knew it it grew dark. She was checking every five seconds to see if Kaz had come yet but no one had come in.

Kaz practically ran down the corridor to the Hospital Wing. Dinner had taken longer than anticipated and she didn't want Allis to think that she had forgotten about her. She slowed to a walk just before the Hospital Wing; she didn't want Madam Pomfrey yelling at her for running and subsequently getting herself thrown out of the hospital wing. She spotted Allis and went over to her bed.

"Hey, how are you doing?" She asked, sitting on a nearby chair.

MJ walked into the Hospital Wing, her bleeding nose crammed into the sleeve of her shirt. She looked about and saw the Wing was pretty empty save two girls. MJ planned to avoid the girls. She took down her hand painfully. Hadn't been an argument for ten minutes and it had gotten physical to say the least. She admittedly looked better than the person she had fought with but her nose was broken all the same. Madam Pomfrey rushed through and made MJ lie down on a bed next to the two girls. She fussed over what MJ was sure was nothing, but fuss she did. MJ sighed heavily. Brilliant.

Kaz rolled her eyes. Typical. Nosebleed and cuts and stuff took five SECONDS to heal. Who even came to the hospital wing for that? Kaz tried to pretend MJ wasn't there, but it was hard with her moaning behind her. Once Madam Pomfrey had bustled off to do her job, Kaz turned around.

"Do you mind? No way is a nosebleed that much trauma, and there are people trying to heal here."

"I'm....well I'm not dieing at least. Thanks for comeing. I really appreciate it." Allis noticed that girl moanig all because of a nosebleed. She didnt dare say anything because she looked older than her. Kaz said something to her & was glad she did. That girl probably deserved what she got,but didnt want to be mean about it.

Kaz turned her attention back to Allis. Clearly, all the other girl wanted was attention, and she wasn't going to give it to her.

"Some of your friends said they'd visit you later. They said they'd bring your homework, but I told them not too as it would probably only make you feel more miserable than you already do."

"I was about to say. Thank you Kaz. I know you told me we werent the best of friends so for you to do this...it was really sweet." Allis really apriciated her being there for her."If you want to stop visiting me it's fine. I'm not asking you to stop I enjoy your visits. I just thought since we werent the best of friends you would want to stop. Allis gave her a very sweet smile.

Chase had come into the hospital wing merely to ask the nurse healer lady a question about cursed marks and such that could not be healed even with the most powerful magic. The girls were there and Chase looked them over for a moment before asking. "Y'all alright?"

MJ was annoyed. Nose bleed? When's the last time either of the girls had broken a nose? It wasn't exactly wipe off the blood and carry on walking. MJ waited for Madam Pomfrey to hurry away. She didn't talk to anyone. She didn't reply to people. She just wanted her broken nose taken care of so she could go. Another boy walked into the hospital wing. MJ looked up at him. He went to talk to the other girls. MJ looked away. She wasn't interested.

Kaz looked at the boy. It was Chase.

"Well I'm ok, Allis on the other hand... Well, she doesn't know who she is or why she's here, so Madam Pomfrey is trying to sort it all out."

Kaz glanced back to the other girl. She looked rather annoyed. Maybe she was a little too harsh, but hey, she was worried about Allis. When Kaz was worried, she tended to be irrational. She guessed it was too late to apologize now, but she definately would.

"Yay, what she said. Who are you?" The other girl looked extremely annoyed. She stopped talking & Allis could tell Kaz felt bad about what she said. She turned to Kaz & said "So have you made your bind up? You dont have to stop visiting you know. But if you have other things to do....you get the idea."

"I'm not going to stop visiting until I know that you're 100% ok." Kaz said, smiling. This was probably the most conversation she had had with a Hogwarts student in the past year. Being a loner taught one to appriciate oppertunities like this. She turned to look at the other girl.

"I'm sorry for being such a banshee. There's probably a very good reason you're lying here." Kaz apologized.

"OK. I'm glad." After she apologized Allis whispered to Kaz "I'm glad you apologized. Even though she probably deserved it." Allis smiled as she said that. She couldnt believe Kaz & her were not friends before. She seemed really very sweet. And for her to stay by her side for lord knows how long was extrordinary.

Kaz smiled.

"Anytime. By the way, I hope you don't mind if I get some of my homework done while sitting here. Mr Potions is going to kill me if I don't have that essay done."

With that, she pulled out a scroll of parchment, quill and a pot of ink.

"No thats perfectly fine." As she watched Kaz pull out her ink she suddenly had a huge headake. Then she had a long flash of everything she forgot. When it ended she exclaimed"Kaz!!! Oh, I remember everything!!!" She turned to theboy who looked utterly puzzled & said "Chase!!!" She grabbed them both & said"Oh, this is wonderfull!!!" She could barely talk so was sobbing so hard.

Kaz would usually laugh at something this outrageous, but for some reason she spilled her ink all over her school uniform. Well, that ended that. She would go back to all her other friends and Kaz would be a loner again. It's not like she wasn't happy for Allis, it was just sort of... sad.

"That's so cool." Said Kaz, trying not to sound too down.

Allis could tell Kaz didnt want her to get better. "You know you can still be my friend. It's not too late. I dont want to be all mushy but you dont have to go back to your old self. But on the plus my head is still swollen. But unless my sensess are wrong you can go back with your old friends." Allis gave her the warmest smile she had ever given some one.

Kaz smiled.

"Thanks." She said. Well what else could she say? She'd been a loner since first year, and all of a sudden, she hada a friend. This was going to take some getting used to. Just then, Madam Pomfrey came to chase all the visitors out of the Hospital Wing.

"I'll see you later then, ok?" Kaz said, smiling, waving to the dark-haired girl with the bleeding nose and Chase and going to her dorm. What a day...

"Bye!"Allis waved as she said goodbye. Kaz really was a nice girl. She couldnt help but smile whenever she saw her. She had such a great personality. She could brighten up anyones day.
As Allis began to fall asleep she had a thought. She remembered Kaz never haveing a lot of friends. Thats why she seemed so reluctant to have a friend. Allis really wanted her as her friend now. The thought of Kaz haveing no friends made her sick.
