When Allis was done with her homework she decited to go outside to the Lake. She didnt want to go in so she just sat down on the grass. It was a lovely day out. She was shocked no one was out. She just sat there looking at the ripples the octopus was makeing. A few minuets later it started to rain. Now she knew why no one wanted to be outside. Fornuchetly she liked the rain. She just sat there while it was raining. It started to rain really strong! Then it started to snow! It was the middle of summer! Allis suddenly shouted out:"It's summer! What the bloody hell is going on?!" She still didnt move. She was determined to stay there. It was like the Lake wanted her to leave! Then the calm snow turned into a blizzard in the blink of an eye! She had to move now. Luckily she brought her cloak. She put it on & tried to walk towards the school. But the blizzard was so strong she couldnt see anything! She was in HUGE trouble!

Amber was sitting with her back against a tree near the lake thinking about the letter she received from her mother. When all of a sudden it started to rain heavily which turned into snow. She stood up immediately to head towards the castle knowing that something terrible was happening. As she started walking she heard somebody shout and was torn between her instincts to head toward the castle or help that person. Finally deciding she turned back and bumped into another person. She caught hold of the person and shouted to be heard, " Hey are you alright, heard you screaming".

Suddenly Allis bumped into something. It was a person! She understood what she had said then shouted to her:"Oh, I'm brilliant. I didnt realize some one else was out here. I'm glad you are! Can you see the castle?" She was very happy that some one was out here. But that still didnt hide the fact that they were lost in a snow storm.

Remy walked up to the girls and sighed happily "oh good i thought i had seen someone out here but i wasn't sure if it was a person or just my imagination." he said. Remy looked at the girls and after making sure they weren't bleeding or hurt began to talk again "the castle is too far to get to at the moment so were going to have to find shelter out here and ride out this storm" he said as he began to scan the lake for a place to hide out in.

Allis suddenly saw some one. It was Remy!! When he finished talking she suddenly said " Well where are we gonna go?!?! What are we gonna eat?!?! I'm sorry for panicking, its just a nasty happit." She was telling the truth too. She was known for panicking back home.

Remy stared at the girl and had to grin. "to be honest i have no idea what were going to eat i really don't think the storm will last that long but if we dont find shelter it wont matter if we have food or not because the cold will kill us way before we die of hunger" he explained. He had no idea why it was snowing in the middle of summer but whatever the reason he had a feeling it wasn't good.

Allis was a bit conserned about this. "Well what if it keeps up?! I have a very good reason to thimk it will. Do you want to hear it? If you dont believe me I dont blame you." Allis had to tell them whether they belived her or not. She might have been a bit to scared about this but she didnt have a care in the world about being dramadic.

Amber looked at the girl whom she recognized from the train and said exasperated, " Will you quit your hysterics, we are witches and wizard for a Merlin's sake. We can ride out this storm if u calm down and start thinking." Amber hoped that the girl would start helping now. She looked at Remy and asked, " You must be knowing this place well, is there any caves or anything like that around? or we might have to climb and wait in the trees."

Allis was a bit taken aback. "You dont know the half of it! And I dont really think I was talking to you was I?" Allis had just realized what she said then quickly stated: "Oh I'm sorry! Please forgive me?! Your apsalutely right!" Allis truely was sorry. The last thing she needed was an enemy.

Amber shrugged her shoulders at Allis outburst, smiled and said " What are you apologizing for? You just expressed your opinion like me. I know we are in a fix here, I had only meant that if we keep a cool and calm collected mind we will be able to handle this situation nicely." She rubbed her arms together, " Anyone of you know warming charm? My tutors had tried to teach me back home but i was not able to grasp it and we are definitely not dressed for this weather. Hope there is no else lost out there."

Remy looked at amber and grinned "do i know of any caves around here" as he tried hard not to laugh. "I do know of a cave close by but before i take you there i think we have enough time to hear allis's story i dont think this storm is natural and any input i could get on how or why it began might give me a clue on how long it will last or how to stop it so tell me everything you know allis" he said looking at her.

Allis said to Amber first:"Oh, alright then,um no i dont think i know any. But um, Remy....Well i went outside & sat by that lil tree right next to the lake." She poimted over to it for a very short time. Then she said:"I was looking out on the lake when it started to rain lightly. Then it started pouring! I still didnt move. After about 5min it started snowing lightly. I cursed but didnt move. Then it suddenly turned into this. Thats all." Allis was glad he asked her that. It made her feel important,but she kept it cool.

Amber nodded her head at Allis explanation and turned towards Remy to know his input and saw his grinning face and said, " Hey don't you start laughing at me. It was a logical question, so that we could get shelter from this blizzard." and smiled and muttered quietly, " Prefects".
She then turned back to Allis and asked, " Did you see anything weird or anything abnormal before it started raining or anyone else around?"

"Other than the lake waves getting bigger every time the wheather changed no. Are you guys takeing me seriously or not? If you arent I dont care." Allis wasnt afraid to ask because she didnt want to be mocked behind her back.

Remy looked at allis and smiled "of course were taking what you say serious hon were a team the three of us are but before we continue i need to get us into some shelter before we freeze out here now follow close behind me" remy said authoritively as he began to walk into the forbidden forest.

Allis felt good that they were takeing her seriously. She didnt want to be one of those clueless people who have no idea people are makeing fun of them."Thanks! You know this place like the back of your hand dont you?"

Amber looked at Allis curiously, " I am taking you seriously". She saw the route Remy was taking them through and felt very excited. She had been wanting to go to forest since the day she arrived and now she was finally going with a prefect. But then she turned to look at Allis wondering what her reaction would be. Amber thought Allis was little high strung but she like that about the girl. Amber nudged Allis slightly and whispered, " Umm.. you do know that he is taking us in the forbidden forest, right?"

Once Amber told her he was takeing them to the Forbidin forest she gew tarified! She quickly pulled it together then said:"Oh, oh ya! Exiteing isnt it?!" Allis knew she was a horrible actress & by the look on Amber's face she saw that she thought so too.

Remy looked at the girls and grinned "i know you two must have heard a lot of rumors about this forest let me just tell you everything you have heard is true so please take out your wands and prepare yourselves for anything, i don't know if you have learned any spells yet but the stupefy charm should be of good use" he said as he took time to quickly teach them how to perform the spell.

Allis was very scared. She tried to think of something happy but it didnt work. She took out her wand & said:"I havent learned anything yet,what about you Amber?" She grew not as scared. She knew if she learned at least one spell she'd be fine. She couldnt even tell where the forest was. She knew they must be very close.

Amber saw Allis getting more and more scared but didn't know how to comfort her and said, " I have had tutors back home but what i learned was more theoretical but i think i can handle myself in this situation, look at the brighter side Allis there are nice creatures in there too like unicorns and centaurs."

Allis knew Amber was trying to comfort her."Oh, I know. It's just I dont know any spells & that makes me a bit giderish. But ounce Remy showsw us how to preform the Stupify spell I'll be fine. Really." Allis said this with a small smile. She noddoed her head a bit to.

Remy looked at amber and allis and smiled "this is one of hte easiest spells to perform but it is very valuable to know. All you have to do is hold out your wand and say Stupefy when you want to stun something" he explained rather quickly as he made his way into the forest "keep close to me we don't know whats in there" he said to them

Allis felt rather safe now. She knew a powerful spell & was with a very good wizard. She walked anxiously into the forest. It didnt smell like your avridge forest whitch Allis found strange but knew there would be even wrose things in there. Allis could barely even see any trees in front of her the blizzard was so bad!!

"its jua a few yards further" remy said as he walked a bit further. A great big grin came over his face as he saw the entrance to the cave he was leading them too but he stopped suddenly as a flash of light told him someone was already in the cave. He wondered if it was a freind or an enemy.

"Oh...My....Gosh...... What was that Reamy?!" Allis was very scared but then said to him "Sorry. What I ment was should I pull out my wand?" Allis counted to five. Within those five seconds she could be terrified. But when they ended she had to pull it together. She tried to get a closer look but thought it wasnt a good idea.

"Isn't this just great? We finally find a shelter to get out of this chilly weather and the place turns out to be occupied", said Amber. She removed her wand and tightened her grip on it and asked, " Are we going in or not? I rather face whatever is inside than become a block of ice out here"

Remy looked at the girls and smiled "no its ok it's just a few fairies is all in fact this is one of there caves he said happily. We can wait out the storm in there with them and they have lots of food and water as well so we'll be just fine" he said as he entered the cave. He lit a few torches hanging in the walls and made the cave light up with light.

"Oh! Well thats good!" As Allis walked in she saw the faries. "Oh, there so pretty! Arent they beautiful Amber?" She had never seen anything like them. They were so danety & elegant. "I wish I could be a farie." Allis said to herself.

Amber looked at the fairies fascinated, that's why it took her time to respond to Allis. She looked at Allis and said, " Sorry, oh yeah, they are very pretty. I had never seen one before." She went and sat on the floor with her back against the wall. " I hope it stops snowing fast."

"Oh, I comepletely forgot about the snow. Remy, can you tell when it will stop?" As Allis thought about what she just asked she wished she wouldnt of asked that. He's not a wheather man! she thought to herself.

Remy looked at allis and shook his head "to be honest i have no idea when the storm will pass but we should be safe in here" remy said as he looked down at the ground and saw some animal tracks on the ground. He didnt want to draw to much attention to it but his hands went to his wand by themselves.

outside in the blizzard Nak was on cloud nine given ice snow and freezing temperatures were his domain and he was even in his arctic camo <as if he wasn't near impossible to see already> and moving towards the cave he had been there before but didn't think anyone else was there he moved through the snow like it wasn't there but he was also wearing snow shoes so he was on the snow and walks into the cave "Um hi everyone"

Suddenly out of no-where Nak came in. "Hi." Allis said shakily. "How did you get out here? I never saw you out here." Allis asked. suddenly Allis noticed that Remy had taken out his wand. Allis did too even though she didnt know why.

Remy turned around and saw nak standing there and he smiled. He had no idea what had made those tracks but with nak here it meant there was one more person to help in case the person or thing who had left the tracks. "do you have any idea how long the storm will last nak" he asked him.

"Why would you...Oh your not like me i forgot" he says not really making sense and looks to them "Look into your heart and mind the answer will show but i was on the other side of the castle when this all started" he says obviously he had been spending way to much time with the Centaurs and he dives into the deepening snow vanishing for a few seconds and returns confused "Odd the Lake is not frozen" he says and pulls out some dead wood from his camos "Anyone got a light?"

Remy looked at nak and grinned as he took out his wand. "I dont have a light but i do have a wand that can make fire if thats what you are in need of" he said as he twirled the wand in his hand. He wondered why it wasn't snowing by the lake and yet it was a blizzard outsid.
