OoC: If you are a prefect planning to nab us, please have a good story about why you are bathing at midnight. And please, please let us at least get in the tub before you come storming in. Thanks.

Something Scarlett had heard in passing had gotten her thinking about the Prefects’ bathroom. There was just something irresistible to Scarlett’s haughtiness about an exclusive, luxurious bathroom. The fact that she was not allowed to use it, just sharpened resolve to bathe there. She wanted in to see what made it so wonderful.

But going by herself was unappealing. For one thing if you don’t have a witness to getting to use exclusive privileges then there was really no point. Also it would be more fun if she had someone go along. Usually Scarlett would choose Dream or Melie as her preferred cohorts, but Dream being an actual prefect made her out of the question, and Scarlett was not sure if Melie would want to risk the trouble. Scarlett thought about who would risk the trouble. Several names came to mind, but only one stood out as daring and fun enough to share this prank with.

Scarlett sent her bat Catch-Can down to dungeons to deliver an invitation to trouble. Then she put her bathing suit, favorite bath stuff, and a few other assorted items in a her wicker beach bag and lay down to take a nap. Scarlett wanted to be refreshed when midnight rolled around and it was time to have soak.

Cassie was laying in her bed in the dorm when suddenly a cat seemed to break down her door. Jumping on her it pawed at her and she reconized it as Scarletts cat. She detached a message and grinned. "So little miss Scarlett wanted a prank" she whspered. She threw on her bathign suit and sent the cat on its way. She pacjked a small duffle.

She traveled to the Prefects bathroom and threw it open. She saw Scarlett lying on the floor and smiled. She gently put down her duffle bag and her shorts. IN her bikini she threw herself into the water splashign alll over the floor and onto Scarlett. She quickly filled the bath with bubbles and leant on the side grinning at Scarlett. "You rng" she said.

Scarlett had laid her plan well since deciding she was going to have a soak in the prefects’ tub. She had used the Maurauders’ map to shadow the prefect she found the least threatening until that prefect had decided to use the prefects’ bathroom. Scarlett had listened carefully to the whispered password and slunk off.

So at midnight she had crept down to the hallway outside the prefects’ bathroom and waited for Cassie. Scarlett could not contain herself for long though and she whispered the password and entered the bathroom. It was like heaven made porcelain. Everything was white and smooth and promised comfort and luxury. Scarlett propped the door open for Cassie and began drawing a bath. Out of the corner of her eye Scarlett caught a scandalized look from the mermaid in a portrait hanging on a wall. Dismissing the look Scarlett tested all the faucets to find the perfect combination of scents and bubble textures and when she had created a foamy delight smelling of lilac and roses. She quickly shed her pj’s so that she was clad in her poka-dot bikini and sank into the tub to her ear lobes. She was reflecting on how all the hard work was worth this relaxation when Cassie came hurtling in tossing out almost all the bubbles.

Scarlett’s bubble was definitely burst. She was beginning to regret her choice. Maybe she could have talked Melie into this after all. “Dammit Cassie. Don’t be loud someone could hear us!” Scarlett hissed in a whisper.

Cassie giggled as she saw Scarlett pop out. "Hola Mia Amore" she said chuckling quietly. She pushed a few bubbles out of her eyes and giggled. She brushed the hair out of her eyes and grinned sheepishly. "Sorry Scarlett..." she whispered. She rested her elbows on the side of the tub and smiled softly. "Cute Bikini" she said looking at her and cracking her knuckles. "So whats our big prank...oh great Scarlett" she asked silently ducking in and out of the water. She looked around the prefects bathroom. It was nice and cozy and it was very restful.

Scarlett blew the bubbles out of her eyes, “This is the prank Cassie,” Scarlett said a little sheepishly. “We are not supposed to be here so just loungin’ around in this big spacious tub is breaking the rules.” Scarlett had a feeling that Cassie was going to laugh at her because she hadn’t planned some hoax for the next unsuspecting prefect.

Cassie grinned softly. Normally she would laugh hysterically but her and Scarletta were pretty close enough to know that she wouldnt laugh at her, She cucked underwater and splashed Scar as sofftly as she could. "we should plant a trap for the Grffy, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw prefects" she said grinning.

Scarlett was so relieved that she almost missed who was missing from Cassie's list of victims. "If we are gonna leave a gift for the prefects then it would be rude to leave Remy out." Of course what Scarlett really meant was she was not about to leave any surprises for Dream that were not also lying in wait for Remy. Married people had to share, that was the law.

Cassie shook her head sadly. "But Miss Scarlett. Remy would LET us do this. in fact he probably would join us...Maybe Emma too. Maybe Not. But Remy would let us get away with this" she said grinning. She knew Remy well enough. I mean they hung out in Slythy dorms constantly. She cracked her kuckles and smirked.

Scarlett reclined in the tub and ruminated over the possible tricks to pull in this bathroom. "Remy might not be so indulgent with a trick that covered Dream in goo. He has to listen to her when they go home ya know. If we do somethng then it has to be equal. A trap the next prefect comes across perhaps..."

Cassie laughed. "See Scarletta. You are taking from me. I mean who else would have though to use goo to smother a prefect" she said giggling softly as she whispered. "ok then what should we set" she sad taking out her wand. She swished it test and a few sparks flew out. "Ready when you are" she whispered.

Scarlett thought about all the stories her Grandad had told her about the pranks he'd played on his buddies when he was in school. As the heavenly scent of lalacs and roses drenched Scarlett's senses, one drifted to the forground of her memory. "Bella," the black cat appeared from the shadows under the marble sink. Scarlett put on her most winsome face. "Bella, don't you feel like getting a nice big fish from the lake? Would that just hit the spot perfectly?" Bella narrowed her eyes at Scarlett but also began licking her lips. Scarlett stood up and opened the frosted glass window to let Bella out and propped it open with a sliver of fancy soap that smelled like daffodils. She grinned at Cassie wondering if the other girl could tell what she was up to.

Remy was walking through the grounds when a light coming from up high caught his attention. "Hmm someones in the prefect bathroom" he thought to himself and continued on his way into the forest. He had noticed cassie was missing from her room and wanted to reach her before anyone else did so she wouldnt get in trouble for being out after dark

Bella slipped out the window on her way to find some fish. On her way to the lake she came across the Wind Walker. Bella liked him very much so she decided to catch up with him. She ran after him for a while and finally caught up so that she could rub up against his ankles.

BIC: Cassie smirked as Scarlett opened the window. Aftre a few moments of thought she had figured out. She ducked under the water wetting her hair. She swam to the window and looked out. There was her prefect walking the gronds, Swimming back softly to Scarlett and looked at her. "Remy Alert Remy Alert" she said brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes,

“Crap!” said Scarlett getting out of the huge wonderful tub. “He’s the last thing we need right now. And I sent Bella out there and she has some sort of strange fascination with him. She’ll never bring us the fist now. We might have to call it a night and leave before we get caught.” Scarlett reached for a warm fluffy towel and began to dry herself off.

:rolleyes: Remy looked around hten felt something rub up against his leg. He looked down and say bella and smiled "hey darling what are you doing out here after dark" he laughed. "i guess your out here hunting" remy said as he looked at the cat "catch anything interesting yet besides me i mean" he ran his hand through his hair

Bella pressed her head into Remy’s hand to get the most benefit from the petting. She began to purr loudly. In reply to his question she gave a chirruping mew and bounded off toward the lake.

Scarlett continued to dry herself frantically and pull on her clothes over her wet bathing suit. “Cassie are you just gonna sit there like a stump? We need to get away.” Scarlett heard the mermaid from the picture frame behind her giggle. Scarlett turned to glare furiously at her.

The mermaid stared at Scarlett with a vapid look and said in a soft coy voice, “You aren’t going anywhere.” And she began to sing.

Remy ran after bella with a great big smile on his face. He ran to the edge of the lake and watched as bella looked out into the ocean and mewed. Remy nodded his head and jumped into the water a few minutes later he came back with two large fishes and gave one to bella. "here ya go one for you and one for me

Cassie smiled at Scarlett. "Psh...we got time" she said leaping out of the tub and sitting on the side, "Bella will keep him occupied...especially if it involved food which...it does" she said looking out the window and seeing the fish. Suddenlt the mermaid began to sing. "COVER YOUR EARS" she yelled to Scarlett coverfing hers.

"What?" asked Scarlett, but it was too late. The intricate melodies that the mermaid wove through the the scented air made Scarlett sleepy. Her lids grew heavey and she fell backwards into the full tub sending water and bubbles flying everywhere.

Bella padded away from the lake when it looked like Remy was going to go in so his splashes missed her. She watched him as he fished in his strange human way, but she did not was to get close to the water in case he decided to make more splashings.

When he presented her with her fish she rubbed his had with the side of her face. Her charge wanted a fish but the parts that Bella did not care to eat would suit Scarlett's purposes just as well as the whole fish so Bella began to eat.

Cassie knew the first thing to do. She stood up and dove into the water. She grabbed Scarlett under the arms and pulled her out lating her on the side of the tub. She pressed down hard on her stomach to make sure there was no water choking her. She looked out the window and Saw remy was still by the lake and went back to Scarlett still closing her ears.

Scarlett coughed up water as Cassie compressed her lungs but she continued to sleep. The mermaid kept on singing trying not only to put Cassie to sleep, but also to alert anyone in the area that something might be amiss.

Cassie kept her ears closed and grabbed something, a quill, out of her bag. She waved her wand and transferred it into a pair of earmuffs. They blocked out the noise and Scarlett walked over to the portrait. "SHut up or I will brun you" she said waving her wand and making a small flame appeasr at the end. She was very angered at the stupid picture and was ready to kill.

The mermaid shrank back from Cassie's wand, "I am just doing my job. You are intruders and should not be allowed in my domain, won't some brave strong prefect come save me." The mermaid sang the words to the tune of the same drowsy lullaby.
