It was dark. It was cold. Emma saw herself rushing down the Great Hall, calling out her friends names. She couldn't find anyone. The whole school was empty, and dark. Quickly she began to freak out, and she also began to sprint through the halls up towards the Headmaster's office. Reaching the entrance, she began to yell out passwords.."Gumdrops! Rasin Beans! Ravenclaw! Gryffindor! Quidtich!" but it wouldnt open. "Oh come on, I know atleast one of those is one of the passwords." she murmered as her body slid down along side the wall into a sitting position on the floor.

"Oh my god..." she said outloud, her eyes flashing open. Slowly, she pulled herself up onto her potions stool which was next to her cauldron. The fumes from her potion she had been making were circling the air. Glancing around, she ignored some of the surprised looks people were giving her as she saw her reflection in the mirror. Her one eye was a blue color while the other one was a green color, and her hair had turned a deep blue shade. This was probably due to the stress of fainting.

Quickly, she focused on turning both eyes back to hazel and her hair back to brown. She had obvisouly fainted, but from what. From the fumes? Did she do something wrong with her potion?

Mark had been teaching the fourth year potions class, trying particularily hard not to show his girlfriend any favortism at all. She was a Ravenclaw afterall so didnt exactly need much help academicly.

"Yeah that looks good." he said to one of the Hufflepuff boys who had mananaged to almost finish the entire potion surprisingly fast. He moved obto the next person's cauldron when he heard a bang from a cauldron somewhere behind him. Spinning to look for the source of the noise he noticed that Emma had fallen unconcious and slumped to the ground. Rushing over he saw her sit up and adjust her appearance back to normal. "Are you okay?" he asked putting his arm around her. "What happened?"

Emma started to look over her notes, to see what she had done wrong, when she heard Mark from behind her. She was surprised to feel his arms around her, since they were in class. They both had agreed to act exactly like student and teacher while he was teaching.

So, she glanced at him, and resisted the urge to lean into him. "Umm..Sorry Professor, I must have mixed up the ingredients some how.." she said, as she finished looking over her notes. It was odd, she rarely made a mistake in a class, and to make such a big mistake, resulting in the potion exploding.

"Oh, here we go." she said pointing to her notebook.."I must have put to much of my last ingredient in." she added, hoping that he didnt look to closely at her notebook because if he did, then he would realize that she was lying about her calculations, which had been correct.

Meanwhile evil little Cassie was in the back of the classroom. In front of her was the potion and she had cast a spell on her stcik to stir. But behind that cauldron sat a tiny one and she was currently working on a newer potion. She had heard some one faint and looking up she saw Emma and Mark. She smirked and couldnt eblieve it. She knew they were dating but PDA in class. Cassie had to break up the touching moment. She chucked a small dungbomb by a near by cauldron and watched as the poor little Huffle firstie yelled. She threw a smirk to Emam and continued to work on her potion.

Jo jumped back from where she was sitting when Emma fainted. She had just been finishing a potions worksheet, taking notes on the steps Emma was doing. "Em, are you ok?" she asked her best friend, as she helped her up, and made room for Mark to come over.

She couldn't help but grin as Mark got pretty close to Emma, they had probably been that close before, if not closer, but in class....? "PDA" she said/coughed, loud enough for Mark to hear. She was about to make another comment, when the first year Huffie shrieked. "What the heck is wrong with him?" she said outloud, her eyes darting over to a smirking Cassie.

Walking over to Cassie, she peered over the smalled cauldron.."So watcha making there?" she asked.

Cassie put a hand over her chest and pretended to loook shocked. "Tis me....I is only making the potion" she said still smirking. "Oh this" she said pointing to the tiny cauldron. "Dearie this is only an extra credit project that is for my own amusement" she said grinning innocently at Jo.

Mark looked down at Emma's notes as she explained what must have happened. "Errr, yeah that must be it." said Mark even though he had the feeling Emma knew just as well as him that she didnt add to much of any ingredient at all. "Well as long as..." Mark started up before he heard another bang, this time from somewhere behind him.
He stood up and walked over behind Cassie and Jojo, and heard her mention the second potion. He walked right up behind Cassie and put peered over her shoulder, "Oh come on now, you'll never get those extra credits if you don't tell me what it is." he said with a grin.

Emma looked over to where the Huffie's potion blew up. "Ouch.." she murmered under her breath, as she began to walk over to see how he was. It was odd, she was the only person heading towards the injured boy, while everyone else was crowding around Cassie. ( :P ) "Hey are you ok?" she asked the boy, who was a little scratched up. "Reparo" she said as she pointed her wand at the broken cauldron which quickly fixed itself. Turning back to the boy she said, "There just clean up the mess, and umm..you might want to go to the Hospital Wing for some of those cuts."

Realizing that everyone was still with Cassie, she headed over there. "Cass you could have really hurt that boy." she said as she came up from behind Jo and Mark. "You are lucky your throw hit the cauldron and not him or any other student."

Jojo raised her eyebrows at the small Huffie boy, who was now starting to yell dramatically, pointing at the small scratches on himself.
At her stare, he immediately turned red and turned back to his ruined cauldron.
"Em..." she muttered, pulling her aside. "You okay?"
She hadn't seen her powers lose control for awhile.

Emma quietly disappeared at Mark's side, and followed Jo over to a darker corner of the room. (LOL..that sound really wrong). Rolling her eyes slighty at Jo's question, she whispered...."I know it was kind of weird and I don't think it was Cassie. I think there is something wrong with the ingredients. Plus, I rarely make mistakes, so that is kind of out of the question!" she said with a grin,

Jojo snorted. "Riiight, mistakes are pretty rare with you..."

The smile slid off her face, however, as she thought about what might be wrong with the ingredients.
"But... What could be wrong with them? I mean, their checked and everything, right?"

Emma rolled her eyes, "Well that's right, one of my mistakes would be taking this class with you." she said teasingly, childishly sticking her tongue out at Jo. After hearing Jo's second comment, Em said to Mark.."Isn't it against the law to not have them checked? Because they could be containminated or something.."

Cassie turned to Mark innocently. "well...its NOT going to be in illegal batch of veritiserum which I plan on using to divulge the darkest secrets of everyone and use them for blackmail and my own advantage" she said grinning. "Cause that wrong Professor Mark and I'm a very very good girl who always follow the rules and is respectful to her elders."

Walking over next to Cassie, Emma peered down into the potion, and glanced up to see small vials sitting on the desk. "Oh my god.. Cass, how long have you been doing this?" she asked, recognizing the vial from when they used it on a grffy firsty to break into the grffy house. Then, looking at Cassie, she leaned over closer and whispered.."How many and how quickly can you make these potions?" she asked, before adding.."And I know of a place we can make these if he kicks you out of here." she said with a grin, knowing that Cassie would need this stuff for the different pranks they pulled.
