Yay, it's valentine's day. I like valentines day, it's such a happy day. Did anyone get any thing for valentine's day?

Ug. I hate to be cynical, but it's such a BS holiday. Am I the only one who doesn't give a crap about this stupid day?

I find it better to Call it Singles Awareness Day! But Vday Sucks for single peeps. Like me...but if I took by BFFs Kims advice I wouldnt be...perhaos Is houdl lsiten to her.

There's much more to life than being in a relationship. this makes the fourth Valentine's Day in a row I have spent alone. I haven't even tried to date since my fiancee broke things off in 2005 (two weeks before V day, mind). Yeah it was lonely at first, but honestly, it's possible to be happy and alone.

So I'm not being in the least bit facetious when I say: Happy Valentines Day , all you single people out there. Or just Happy Thursday, if you like that better.

I feel ya Sil...this is actually my first Valentine's without my fiancee (now ex-fiancee of course). But even when I was in a relationship, it just never appealed to me. I think it's just an excuse for girls to get presents, which of course I love, lol, but I don't need some specific day to get them. A true romantic guy would give them for no reason, not because he has to!
Did I get off on a tangent? Me thinks so. :P

What's depressing about it Cassie? I'm happy with my life. I get do do things that I would ordinarily not (like following my dream of writing full time, and going back to college) if I had a family to support. I also get to do work in the community and take on responsibilities that send me all over the state I live in, and I don't have to feel like I'm taking time away from my family or feel like I should be paid for doing those things because others are dependant on me.

But I'll take you up on that ice cream--not because I need cheering up or anything, just because it's a sin to pass up ice cream. :P

I am always alone I never get I damn v day card and nether does Twyla why does thw world hate us soo?And Cass u can't talk me AND Twyla are alone at least Cassie has Chase and Henry shut up all because you and Aurora go out but she isn't very active so you can't have a very good v day hahahahaha

I have spent every single Valentine's day alone (16 of them). By alone I mean no boyfriend.

I think it's a holiday that been turned into a money-making scheme. Much like Easter and even Christmas. Most people have forgotten the true meaning of these holidays.

Most holidays these days are simply money making schemes. The only holiday I like is the Aussie and NZ ANZAC day which is for all our vetrans, and was this past friday so WOO!
