Scarlett entered the hospital wing on shakey legs. She could feel the fire from the entry wounds on her knees spreading though her whole body. She imagined that the long walk had pumped the potion through her whole body. Scarlett hobbled to the nearest bed and laid down, hoping that Alfie would be there soon to make everything all right.

Alfie left one wing of the hospital and when she entered the next part she found Scarlett on one of the beds.

"Scarlett what on earth happened to you?"

Looking over at Scarletts knees Alfie desided to use a spell to see what would be the best way to help.

Alfie hoped that Scarlett could give her enough info. to make it easier to fix Scarlett up.

Scarlett searched back in her mind to try to describe to Alfie what was wrong with her. “I think my wrist is broken, I have a burn on my hand and I dropped a potion on the floor and then fell into the broken glass. I think some the potion got into me, because I feel really strange. And before you ask me what was in the potion I don’t know. Sil made it, something about Dragon’s Tears and feathers. There were all kinds of things in that potion Alfie.” Scarlett’s voice trembled a little but she tried to keep her fear under control. The last thing she needed to do was elevate her heart rate.

OoC: Ankaa and Sil also both noticed that Scarlett’s complexion looks a little green. I wouldn’t mention it out to her least she have a complete break down.

Alfie looked at Scarlett and said, "so how did you get hurt so badly Scarlett?"

Wanting to here the whole story Alfie was willing to sit and wait then listen no matter how long it took.

"Scarlett I will wait until you tell me the whole thing so you might as well start talking."

Scarlett groaned and started telling her story quickly hoping that Alfie would at least give her something for the pain in her wrist and knees while she was talking or she might just pass out. “Well we found out that Salizar Slytherin had laid a curse on the school’s foundations so that the walls would crumble down if there was anyone who has muggle blood in the castle at midnight on Halloween. We found the Curse to End All Curses and used it to un-curse this huge pillar we found under the library. This pillar was carved with the likenesses of all the founders. Everything went fine until I got to Slytherin’s side of the Pillar. His carving came to life and grabbed my arm,” here Scarlett paused to point at her wrist that was definitely hanging at a funny angle, “and I dropped the potion that was part of the Curse to End All Curses. The vial broke and the potion splashed onto the carving’s leg. I got loose but I fell into the broken glass and spilled potion and cut my knees. I think the potion has gotten into my blood stream. Alfie you have to help me. I really don’t feel well and I don’t know what that potion is doing to me.” Scarlett was breathless and on the verge of tears by the time she was done telling the story.

As Alfie listened to Scarlett tell her story Alfie got a potion that would ease the pain. As she heard about Salazar Slytherin Alfie handed the potion to Scarlett so she could drink it. For some reason Scarlett didn't seam to notice the potion but kept on talking as if she was afraid that she might not be able to finish.

When Scarlett was done Alfie was still holding the potion.

"Here Scarlett this should help with the pain."

Then Alfie began to work on Scarlett's arm and then her leg.

Taking some of the blood that was coming from Scarlett's leg Alfie said, "I will have to check this to see what I can do. If you did get any of the potion into you through the wound it might have been pushed back out by the bleeding, if not I'll have to com up with an antidote. Do you know what all was put into the potion for the curse to end all curses?"

Sil got to the hospital wing to see Alfie holding a potion out to Scarlett and asking her what was in the Curse to End All Curses potion. Although it felt ages ago, he would never forget brewing that potion. It was one of the most difficult potions he'd ever seen or attempted, and in the end they'd been lucky a good helping of sweat from his forehead hadn't been in the potion as an accidental ingredient. He remembered the list well.

"It was quite a complicated potion," he told Alfie. "Fennel root, armidillo bile, Jobberknoll feathers, streeler venom, shrivel figs, an Ashwinder egg, ashpodel root, peppermint, horned slugs, belladonna, scarabs, thyme, Dragon's tears, and the blood of a pureblood. We used Remy's blood for that last one."

Then another thought occured to him. "Oh, and when I saw Scarlett's cuts, I gave her some wound-healing paste--not the typical kind, but the stuff I brew myself. I add a drop of unicorn blood, which usually counteracts just about any poison. Although, it may have had some sort of reaction with the dragon tears."

Scarlett looked at the potion for pain that Alfie had given her as she listened to Sil enumerate all the substances swirling around inside her. She thought she might be sick. Scarlett put the pain potion aside and decided to tough it out. What if adding just one more thing to her system made her explode. She looked at Alfie and asked. “Am I gonna die?”

Alfie was glad to see that Sil remembered all the things he put into the potion and as she listened she nodded her head. Then Sil said that he used a wound-healing paste.

"Oh no!" Alfie said a little to loudly.

"What was in it, I don't need to know how much if each thing but I do need to know what was in it."

Alfie waas glad to see Scarlett put down the potion Alfie had given her.

"Let me take that and put it on the counter by the cabinet. I don't think it is a good idea for you to drink it until I check out what might happen."

Scarlett asked if she was going to die. "I don't think so, as long as I find out all the herbs and things that has been put in and on your body."

"It's really a very simple solution," Sil said. "Equal parts red reishi and myrtlap essence, and like I said, a drop of unicorn blood. I've used it myself countless times and never had anything like the reaction Scarlett's having. Then again, I've never seen anything like the potion we used to break the curse, either."

Scarlett didn't know what she wanted more, a leather strap to bite down on, or ear plugs so she wouldn't have to hear Alfie and Sil talk about her like she was a potion vial that might explode. She tried closing her eyes to block out some of what was going on a and a tear leaked out of the corner of her eye.

Alfie thougt about the things that was in the two potions and compared them to see if any of the things would have a bad reaction when put together.

"Let's see, Fennel root, armidillo bile, Jobberknoll feathers, streeler venom, shrivel figs, an Ashwinder egg, ashpodel root, peppermint, horned slugs, belladonna, scarabs, thyme, Dragon's tears, and the blood of a pureblood." The other potion had red reishi and myrtlap essence, and a drop of unicorn blood.

Alfie knew that streeler venom, belladonna, and scarabs are poisonous if put into the body and Jobberknoll feathers didn't do the body any good either.

"Well I will have to give an antidote for the streeler venom, belladonna, and scarabs, as for red reishi and myrtlap essencethere they did not go good together.

I have my work cut out for me." Alfie said with a very sad sigh.

Alfie quickly went to the office where she could make an antidote. "I well have to check on how to get the two antidotes to work together instaed of against each other."

Scarlett tried to calm her galloping heart. She had a little success, but when she opened her eyes she found that the walls had started to melt. Everything she settled her eyes on turned wavy. She snapped them shut only to see colors and fanciful vision explode into being behind her eyelids. At first she liked the pretty colors swirling around so she kept her eyes tight shut against the melting walls. Scarelett saw a blazing sunset painting white clouds pinky-peach. The clouds collected into a fairy-tale castle gleam pearlescent against the setting sun. As the sun sank lower the clouds were tinted bloody red and fiery orange, then the castle seem to melt in a rain of blood that streamed out of the clouds. Scarlett was reminded of the Prophecy that they just so narrowly avoided. She sat bolt up right and opened her eyes wide. She would rather watch the walls than that beautiful dream castle dribbled into a puddle of destruction. As her eyes scanned the room frantically she caught sight of a hazy green light hovering over her shoulder. Malevolence radiated from it, but she dismissed it as part of her hallucinations. Scarlett chose a spot on the wall to stare at and watched it melt and reform and melt again while Alfie tried to an antidote together.
