[Appearance:] Melody is about 5'4" with super-long chestnut hair that is dyed blonde on the bottom layer. She has blue eyes that many people say are her best physical quality. She's quite tan from spending so much time outdoors. Melody's build is medium, but she is surprisingly strong from playing Quidditch with her brothers from a very young age.
[Character Personality:] Melody is a true Hufflepuff: loyal, hard-working, and accepting. However, she does have a fiery side that comes out in defense of her friends. Don't mess with someone Melody loves! She can be somewhat slow to catch on sometimes. She also tends to be very flirty and loves attention, especially from cute older boys. Melody loves to date fellow Quidditch players. She is also an animal-lover. She is a vegetarian and animal-rights activist. Her dream job is to open a "Magical Creatures Zoo" where she saves animals that were hurt, abandoned, etc. Melody doesn't like trouble, but having so many older brothers, she seems to have a knack for it. She can be mischevious, but is not usually the leader of the gang. She mostly just loves to have fun in any way, even if it means occasionally breaking the rules.
[History:] Melody was born and raised in America. Her mother, who is a witch, moved from her native England to Texas for her job, where she met Melody's father, a Muggle, settled down, and had children. Her mother sent an owl to the LC Headmaster to ask if her kids could go to her alma mater. Melody has 3 older brothers and one younger sister. She had a very lively childhood where she played Quidditch with her brothers and rescued every animal that came across her home. Her house is filled with animals of all sorts. Melody went to a Muggle school before coming to LC. She is very close to her family. Her first sign of magic came very early, when she was only three. Her brothers hid her favorite stuffed animal from her and she was very distraught about it. Suddenly, the animal glowed bright yellow, her favorite color, and she was able to follow the glow to it. Her mother was thrilled!

[Special Talents/Info:] Melody is an animagus. Her form is of a tri-color Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Melody has a certain knack for knowing how to care for animals. She is also an excellent Quidditch player. Her favorite position is Chaser. Her other interest is music. She can play guitar and sing "like an angel", as her mother says.
[Favorite Class/Worst Class:] Charms and Care of Magical Creatures are her favorite and best classes. She is typically the top student in both. Her worst is Potions, although she still tries very hard in it to succeed.
[Owl, Cat, Toad, Rat, Tarantula or Pygmy Puff?] Melody has all of the above at home. (Except for the Tarantula. When she was 5, she tried to "rescue" a spider that ended up being poisonous and it bit her. Since then, she has been terrified of all arachnids.) Her mother kept all her animals at home so she is hoping to get more in Diagon Alley.

I love it all except the part about being able to communicate with animals. That's what we call an ANWA power, and it's actually already taken by someone. You can certainly be an animal activists, take care of them and love them, and have a knack for knowing what they need, you just can't communicate with them. For now until you have enough posts for an ANWA/Animagus/Elementalist power, you can just put in special talents things like was always good at playing chaser in Quidditch and things of that nature. Other than that, it looks great, so as soon as you've done that, go and send me an owl and I'll come back and approve you ASAP. :)
