Liam strode through the halls of the castle, levitating his unconscious girlfriend beside him. He hoped she was going to be OK, but he was almost to the Hospital Wing, and then she would be fine.

A moment later he walked through the door of the ward, Melie before him. He levitated her carefully over to one of the soft beds and let her down gently. He pulled the soft white sheets and blanket up over her, figuring that she must've been freezing from the whole ordeal. He sat down in the chair next to the bed, his hand tightly clasping one of hers. He kissed her fingers, and waited for the nurse to tend to her. He didn't plan on leaving the hospital wing at all until she got out.

Scarlett came into the hospital wing holding a bundle of clothes. She was a little out of breath from running up to The Toweer to get a change of clothes for Melie. She was touched to see that Liam sat at her bedside waiting for her to be attended. "How is she?" Scarlett asked softly not wanting to disturb Melie if she was sleeping, but by the look of her Scarlett thought that she must still be out cold.

Melie could hear voices, but they sounded far away, she was certain that she heard Scarletts southern drawl talking to someone. Melie was lying on something soft and she was freezing. She tried thinking about where she was but she had no clue. The last thing she could remember was skating towards Scarlett and Logan. Maybe she was on the snow. But how did I get there? I was on the ice Melie wondered to herself. She could feel her body shivering slightly and Melie started to wake a little bit. She could feel someone holding her hand and she gave it a little squeeze, not knowing who it was, assuming that it was Scarlett because thats who she heard talking. Melie tried to move her legs so that she could sit up and a searing pain shot down one of them, and she groaned, from the pain, wanting to scream. She slowly started to feel less foggy and opened her eyes a little seeing a blurry Liam sitting there looking at her worriedly.

Khai pumped his legs harder as he ran towards the Hospital wing with a weary Sbarina in his arms. He knocked open the door and jogged over to the nearest empty bed. he nodded to the other and laid Sabrina down."Is there a nurse here or something" he ased tucking Sabrina into the bed.

Sabrina moaned as she felt herself being dropped. She began flailing her arms wildly from the nightmare and from Khai dropping her. She was having a nightmare that she was falling. She couldn't open her eyes and she screamed "KHAI! WHERE ARE YOU!" she reached and groped.

Khailogged over to where Sabrina was flailing. "Hey Sab" I am right here" he said gripping her shoulders "Stay calm" he said grinning at her and tucking her back into bed. He walked a few steps away and looked for a nurse or anyone with healing skill.

Liam was so worried about his girlfriend that he was focused almost completely on Mel, basically ignoring everything going on around him. He could tell when he was levitating her up through the castle that her leg was broken in a pretty nasty way. He wished he had some sort of healing ability, but it had never been his strong point. He barely knew any healing spells besides Episkey, which would not do Mel any good. He looked around for someone, anyone who could help her. Maybe Scarlett knew something...

"Scarlett, is there anything you can do for her?" The worry was plain his eyes, and he could feel his cheeks warming, partly out of embarrassment and partly out of some deep-seated feeling as though he was going to cry, because he couldn't do anything to help his girlfriend. It was a strange attack of emotions, not entirely founded in anything, just some sort of emotional breakdown. He leaned down to Melie, whispering in her ear:

"I'll take care of you sweetheart, I promise. And I promise that I won't leave until you're cured and walking out with me."

Just the effort of opening her eyes a crack was exhausting for Melie, and she closed them again, wanting to drift back off to sleep. She heard Liam speak to Scarlett, asking her for help. Melie wanted to sleep again so badly, but she wanted to talk to Liam, tell him that she would be alright. The urge to sleep was overwhelming her when she heard Liam's voice again, this time louder but soft and sweet, and emotional whispering in her ear. She could feel his warm breath as he spoke to her and Melie started to fight the sleep. Slowly Melie opened her eyes again, this time more than before and she could see Liam next to her, his head close to hers, and she turned it slowly to look at him.
"Hi," she said quietly, her voice cracking slightly from being dry.

Scarlett met Liam's pleading gaze with a worried frown. She was no healer. Truth be told she could bearly stand to be around sick or hurt people. She could see Melie shivering and Scarlett was about to ask Liam to move away for a bit so that Scarlett could get Melie into some dry clothes. Then Melie shifted and Scarlett heard her say something softly. "Liam reassure her quickly and then go find the nurse while I get her changed," Scarlett spoke to him gently, but firmly. She knew how inseparable Melie and Liam were under the best of circumstances, and that they would not really want to be parted right now, but Scarlett couldn't very well ask Liam to change Melie's clothes while she herself went to find the nurse.

Sabrina felt a hand on her shoiulder and she saw Khai's face. She opened her eyes and said, "hi..." she felt light headed as if she was drunk...she put her hand to her arm and stomach...
"heh heh...blood..." she said before losing he eyes once more. She smiled, hoping that this was just also a bad dream. She gripped Khai's hand tightly.

Logan was out of breath by the time that he reached the hospital wing. He had to stay back for a little while longer to explain the squid attack to some of the professors. Once he was released, he bolted from the ice-skating rink all the way to the other end of the castle to the Hospital wing. He slid a bit past the door before catching on to the frame, and walking in over near Mel's bed.

"How...is she?" Logan panted looking between Liam and Scarlett. However, he then noticed her eyes open enough to look at Liam. Smiling softly, Logan took a deep breath. "Hey, Mel."

Mark had been sat in his classroom lazily gazing out of the window when Logan had burst into tell him about melie before rushing off to the hospital wing. (OoC: i know you didnt put that exactly but you said professors so i elaborated lol) Mark then got up from behind his desk and followed up the strairs a couple of minutes behind Logan.
He walked into the hospital wing and saw Melie lying there surrounded by Scarlett, Liam and Logan. "Whats wrong?" he said looking around, noticing Melies eyes were at least open. "Is the nurse on the way?" he asked peering over and seing the nurses office was empty. Mark was a pretty good healer himself; both of his parents were healers and he had taken the potions professors position at Hogwarts as he wished to be a healer in the future.

Liam looked up from watching Melie to see Logan and then Mark enter the room. Logan looked exhausted and intensely worried about Mel, and Liam felt an upsurge of respect for the Ravenclaw guy partly between him helping his girlfriend and rushing up here to see that she was taken care of. Mark came in moments afterwards, and asked about the healers. It was then that Liam took notice that there were none around. But, he knew Mark had some background in healing. What other choice was there to make sure the she was OK?

"Mark, can you heal her?" The look on his face was imploring, almost begging. Under normal circumstances he would never have let that much emotion show in front of so many people, but this had nothing to do with him. "You're the only one who can really do anything for her."

Mark could see the desperation in Liams face as he spoke, of course Mark would help but he couldnt help but feel the pressure now being heaped on his shoulders. "Someone will have to fill me in with the details, how and when did it happen?" he asked as he walked over to the side of Melie's bed and touched her forehead with the back of his palm. It didnt feel particularily abnormal but melie really didnt look well, that couldnt be a good sign whichever way he looked at it.

Liam watched Mark begin to examine Mel, and heard him ask how it happened. Steeling his nerves, he went into it.

"We were out skating on the rink and I had to take off for a bit, family emergency. I came back and the rink was a mess, thanks to the giant squid. I don't know how the squid got involved, but I know Sil was involved somehow, but that's not the important part. Mel got hit in the leg with a chunk of flying ice in the leg, and whacked her head off the ice, hard enough to knock her cold. I came back just as Scarlett had moved her off the ice and I brought her up here safely, no thanks to a certain Ravenclaw." He nodded to Logan, making sure that he knew it wasn't him. He knew he shouldn't be overly mad at Henry, but the fact that he could have injured Melie further and considering the state he was in, he didn't much care where his emotions were at. He took a deep breath and carried on. "It's only been a little while since this happened, maybe... a half hour at best?"

He looked down at Melie, seeing that her eyes had fluttered open, and felt his heart decompress slightly. He could feel happy tears welling up in his eyes, but she still needed to be healed before he would feel like himself again.

Mark listened to what Liam had to say about the incident on the lake. It sounded as if Melie's leg was the main problem and had caused her to knock herself unconcious as she fell to the ground. "Ok i think i can help her out." he let Liam know as he walked over towards the nurse's station looking for some healing herbs and potions that would help the situation. "wow" he muttered looking at the vast collection of healing potions available in the wing. He quickly grabbed afew bottles before returning to Melies bedside.
"Ok this one is for stopping the bleeding and helping to heal the wound." he said as he dripped some Essence of Dittany onto her leg. It was one of the strongest healing potions there was, and would stop bleeding in the most serious of wounds. He smiled as the wound smoked a greeny colour before starting to heal. "Dont worry the green smoke and pungent smell just means that its working." he said reassuringly.
He then handed Liam a bottle of Invigoration Draught, "if you can try and make her drink some of this it will help alot in two ways. It should help with head pains aswell as give her the energy to be back up and around on her feet." he finished hoping these two potions would be ebough to help his friend.

Taking a seat in the corner of the room, Logan watched as Mark tried to help Mel. He only momentarily dwelled on which "Ravenclaw" Liam was reffering too. After all, it had been only himself and...then it hit him. Logan made a face that read, "Well who else?" He silently contemplated how to bring this up to the boy later, once everything else had subsided.

Once his breath was recovered, he walked back over near the bedside. Wow, Mark was quick with the draughts and potions. He eyed the bottle that was handed to Liam.

Scarlett stayed quiet with her eyes averted while Mark treated Melie. Scarlett hated the hospital wing and the quiker her friend was out of it the better Scarlett would feel. "Uh Mark does Melie need to stay in the hospital wing or can she come back to the tower? She needs to get out of these wet clothes either way."

Sil slunk into the Hospital Wing. He knew he'd be noticed and people would probably be upset with him. He was also determined to bear their wrath and ire. Though he'd not meant any harm in letting the giant squid through the ice--he'd only wanted to free the poor creature--he knew people had every right to be mad at him for the damage and injuries resultant of his actions.

While almost everyone appeared to have come out okay, he could not help but notice the shape Melie and Sabrina were in.

"Erm, Scarlett..." he said timidly. "Are they going to be alright?"

Dream had heard that Melie was in the hospital and it was bad so she'd raced through the school to find her. When she had finally gotten there, she had seen so many people that she'd remained quiet, not wanting to interupt. She heard Liam telling Mark about what had happened to Melie and when she heard that Sil had been involved, her face registered her shock. Then she heard the voice of the culprit coming from the door that she'd just come through. She turned to look at Sil, thoughts of vengence crossing her mind. Sil was her friend which was enough to make her pause for a moment, but Melie was her roommate, one of her Gryffyz and one of her bestfriends. She swore that if he'd deliberately hurt Melie, that he would get what was coming to him. After glaring at hm for another long moment, Dream walked over to stand beside Mark and Liam. "Is she going to be ok? Let me know if I can help you, Batman." she said softly as she looked down at Melie's face worriedly.

Remy was looking for the school nurse and walked into the hospital. He heard voices and knew something had happened. He saw sil nearby and walked up to him. "Hiya sil whats going on" he asked him as he heard the gryffindors voices. He wondered which gryffindor it was that was hurt this time as he waited to hear sil's explanation of the events.

While Scarlett was waiting to hear from Mark weather Melie was fit to go back to the tower she heard a cautious voice address her. She set Melie’s dry clothes on the bed so that Dream could help the wounded girl into them should she have to stay the night in the hospital wing.

Scarlett rounded on Sil who had been joined by Remy one slanting black brow raised in incredulity. “Yes no thanks to you. You have a lot of nerve showing up at this particular moment Sil,” she said quietly so as not to draw attention to his presence. “I hope that your involvement in this mess was innocent, but it is possible that not everyone gathered around that bed,” Scarlett cut her emerald eyes towards the group of lions gathered around Melie’s sick bed, “is going to care. If I were you, I would go across the room and see to the other wounded, or find somewhere that you don’t think Dream and Liam will not find you, and stay there for a while.”

Remy looked at scarlett and his eyes flared up as he took her aside. "Look i have no idea what happen here but if sil had anything to do with this can you honestly say he did it on purpose? I mean accidents happen unfortunately and look at him he seems pretty bent out of shape, and you have to realize if he had done whatever it is he did on purpose then he wouldn't have come here now would he" Remy finished then looked over at melie and frowned as he say gryffindor laying on the bed "what happen scarlett?" he said softly as he felt helpless knowing he could do nothing for her.

“Do you think I’d be warnin’ him if I thought he’d done it on purpose,” Scarlett said turning to Remy. “I’d thrash him myself.” Scalett dropped her voice even lower to make sure no one over heard it her. “You know how protective Dream can be…”

Then Scarlett answered Remy’s question. “The squid got through the ice of the skatin’ rink and started thrashin’ all around tossin’ ice here and there and a big chunk of it hit Melie in the leg and she fell and hit her head on the ice. She’ll be fine, but if she had fallen in the water or the squid had gotten a hold of her…”

“I didn’t see Sil ‘break the ice’ (OoC: Yes, Sil, I saw you bragging about this prank in your Evil Over Lord’s Club. So whatever they do to you, you brought it on yourself. BiC: ) but that is what I heard down at the skatin’ rink. And if I heard it, you can be Liam did too. He is real broken up about this.”

Remy whispered back to scarlett. "I think im getting a more clearer picture now, I hope nothing happens between liam and sil but to be honest i can't say i wouldn't do something myself if dream had been hurt but being a prefect if i see something i'll have to act accordingly with that being said i can't give detention if i don't see something now can I? he said as he walked over to the beds side and put his hand on liams shoulder but said nothing. He then walked to dream and whispered im going back to the lake and making sure everythings ok over there, i'm no use to anyone here.

Sil could not believe that Remy had asked him of all people what had happened. How could he possibly explain without looking like a complete hippogriff's hind end (to put it mildly)? And wasn't that really just the simple truth of it, anyway? As if he didn't already feel bad enough about the whole situation, now it had taken all the joy out of seeing Remy back at Hogwarts once more. But before he could even begin to fill Remy in, Scarlett beat him to the punch.

"She's telling it like it is," Sil mumbled unable to take his eyes off the floor.

"I saw the squid trapped in the ice," he said to Scarlett. "And it looked so sad... I never thought..." Why are you making excuses? He shut his mouth so quick his teeth clicked together, barely missing his tongue. The voice in his head filled him with shame, but also confidence. It was a weird combination of his grandfather Titus's and his brother Faustus's and, oddly enough, that of Bellicus the house elf.

He looked up, finally able to meet Scarlett's gaze. But that wasn't enough. "I'm sorry," he announced, loud enough for everyone in the room to hear. "I didn't mean any harm in breaking the ice, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a stupid thing to do. I really didn't mean for anyone to get hurt, and I... I feel really awful about the whole thing. But that's not what I feel worst about. There's no excuse for just running away, saving my own skin while other's got hurt. I'll help in whatever way I can, and whatever Liam or Dream or any of the rest of you do to me, I deserve."

Scarlett admired Sil’s bravery in speaking up. She smiled at him meeting his steady gaze. He may have run from the squid, but he hadn’t run from Dream, and that was a true sing of courage. Scarlett said nothing else as she moved back over to Melie’s bedside. Whatever Dream and the boys chose to do, Scarlett would not participate in. She wouldn't hinder them either.

Logan had chosen to remain silent when Dream, Sil, and Remy walked in. He was a bit shocked when he heard that it was Sil that released the Giant Squid. When it happened, he was mainly trying to make sure that he stayed out of the way of all the tentacles. Though he was rather angry about the matter, Logan elected to stay out of any fights or scraps that would arise.

He did stand up though and stretched out his legs as he looked back and forth between the people that were talking.

Erin rushed into the hospital wing, and looked around worriedly. She saw Sil, Scarlett and Remy standing in a group, and a larger group gathered around one of the hospital beds.

"Sorry I'm late!"

Erin mumbled something about checking for others and something about a dropped bag.

"Sil! Scarlett! Remy! Who got hurt, and how bad? I know Alfie has been missing for awhile but I'm sure I can do something in absence of a trained healer. You all know how accident prone I am... I had to learn some healing magic just to be on the safe side. Who is worst off here?"

She asked in a hurried voice, her words practically running together in a flood of oration.

sabrina made a load moan and hald onto Khai's arm tighter. She had heavy blood flow coming from her arm and side. Her shirt was now stained comepletely with blood. But she was in a depep sleep/unconciousness.
She thought she was having another dream when she saw remy stasing in the hospital wing. She let her eyelids open enough to see that she was right. She yelled, "REMY!?" but didn't move.
"KHAI?!" she asked loudly. She closed her eyes again and was having another dream. She was running away from Voldemort and an army of snakes.

Liam took the draught from where Mark had put it, and dropped to his knees beside Mel's bed. He unstoppered the flask, and leaned down to whisper in her ear.

"Sweetheart, can you drink this? It'll get you up and out of here that much sooner. I'll even help if you need me to. Although knowing you, you won't let me." He smiled as he joked with her, feeling some of the warmth return to his body. It was then he saw Sil come in to the Hospital Wing, looking supremely guilty over the whole affair.

Liam felt his muscles tense, and a red tint coming over his vision. In some dark, twisted, desperate part of his mind, he wanted to spring at Sil, hurt him like he had hurt Melie, worse for hurting the girl he loved... Liam felt the greater part of him balk. He knew it was an accident, and he was slightly disgusted with himself that he had wanted to hurt Sil so badly. Sil was one of his best friends, and he would never hurt Mel on purpose. He may have been a bit careless, but Liam had been the picture of carelessness itself on various ocassions. He sat quietly next to his semi-conscious girlfriend while he listened to the others talk. He stood up, staring at Sil.

"Sil, I've got no reason to do anything to you. It was an accident, and I understand that. I don't know about Dream, but you're safe from me." He reached out and clasped Sil's shoulder, a single tear forming in the corner of his left eye. He wiped it away on his sleeve as he turned back to Mel, waiting for some sort of reaction out of her.

Melie could hear people coming into the room and over to her bed, Melie never knew that there were so many people that cared that much about her to be so worried as to rush to the hospital, but the only one that Melie could see at the moment was Liam. She looked up at him, seeing that he was only looking at her, worried. She saw him take a flask from Mark and lean down next to her and whisper in her ear, his breath soft. Melie heard Liam tell her to drink the potion and she tried to take the flask from him, but she was to weak.
"Can you help me?" Melie asked quietly, trying to sit up a little bit so it would be easier.

Liam dropped back down next to her, taking the flask. He tilted it gently up to her lips, watching the sweet-smelling fluid flow over them. He poured slowly, making sure that Mel was OK. His eyes were blatantly hopeful, his other hand gently clasping her hand, hoping that she would be back to normal soon. He wasn't used to this overload of emotion, but once Melie was up and about again, he would be back to himself. Although at the moment, it was Mel he worried more about, and that she would be back to one hundred percent sooner rather than later.

Melie gripped Liam's hand and slowly drank the sweet potion. She finished it a minute later and layed back down on the bed, tired, just wanting to sleep. She closed her eyes in took a deep breath. Just drinking the potion made her exhausted and Melie felt like she wanted to go to sleep again. Her leg was starting to feel a little bit better, but not by much. As Melie lay there, almost drifting into a sleep again, her head started pounding a little bit less and Melie slowly opened her eyes again, still seeing Liam there, still holding his hand.
"I think its working," Melie said quietly to Liam. She looked into his eyes, the worry for her clear in them. Melie felt the love for Liam surging in her and she just wanted to have him hug her and stay with her until she could leave. She didn't want him to go again.

Dream clutched Melie's clothes that Scarlett had handed her. She kept one anxious eye on Melie and with the other eye, she paid close attention to the conversations between Remy, Sil and Scarlett. She could see what looked like concern on Sil's face, and she knew that he probably really was sorry that this had happened. Yet one question was burning into Dream's mind. Was he sorry because he had accidentally let the squid out, or was he sorry that one of his friends had been hurt after he'd deliberately let the squid out? Just then Erin ran into the room, and both of Dream's eyes flew to Sil and narrowed suspiciously. If Erin had been around when it happened, then there was definitely something more than an accident going on around here. Now wasn't the time though, so Dream held her tongue and looked away from Sil and back to Melie. Sil would make sure that another "accident" didn't happen to one of her loved ones, or she'd make sure for him.

Mark smiled as the potions he had given Melie seemed to be having an effect. Scarlett asked him if Melie could leave the hospital yet or needed to stay longer. "It's really up to her. Her leg should heal by itself in time but she needs to keep taking the potion every hour." he said directing the information to both Scarlett and Melie. "I would suggest she stays here untill she feels comfortable walking on her own." He glanced across at the dry clothes Scarlett had brought. "Thats probably a good idea aswell, get her into some dry clothes." he said gesturing towards them. "There are curtains you can pull around the bed for privacy." he told Melie as he stepped back and walked off too see who else in the wing needed his help.

Erin noticed the odd look that Dream gave her, and saw Melie sit up with the help of Liam. She walked over hurriedly, having gotten no response from the trio she was with.

"Is Melie okay? What happened to her?"

Erin asked, noting that they had given her some sort of a potion.

“She’ll be fine Erin,” Scarlett told the girl who had apparently followed her over to Melie’s bedside. She’d heard Erin question the first time, but it hadn’t been convenient for her to answer.

Scarlett was loath to separate the lovebirds, but with Dream’s help it would only take moment to change Melie. “Will you help me put her in dry clothes?” Scarlett asked Dream.

Scarlett laid her hand on Liam’s shoulder and gestured at the clothes in Dream’s hand. She waited for him and any other males in close proximity to the bed clear away and then she drew the curtain.

Liam stood up from where he had been kneeling, loath to let go of Mel's hand. But, reason finally raised a small revolt in his head that told him he needed to leave, if only for a moment. He walked back several paces beyond the line where the curtains would be, never able to take his eyes off of Melie. He felt the slight tremors of nervousness he had been going through lessen a bit knowing that Mel was getting better. He even shot a loving smirk her way.

"Love you baby," he said, his eyes brightening. "Don't take too long huh?"

Melie let go of Liam's hand when Scarlett said that she was going to help Melie change. She blew him a quick kiss when he said he loved her, and then someone flicked their wand and the curtain around her bed closed. Melie slowly pushed the blankets off of her, starting to shiver again from the wet clothes, and not being covered by the warm blankets. Melie looked down at her leg that had been broken and saw that there was a large hole in the jeans.
"Awww," she groaned starting to feel more better. "These were my favorite jeans!"
