Title: 7th Harry Potter News

Henry Bridge - January 26, 2008 02:47 PM (GMT)
Did any body hear that the 7th (final) Harry Potter movie is going to be put into 2 parts? I'm guessing it's so they can fit every thing that's in the book into the movie.

Well people have differing opinions on that. Some will also say it's to make more money. I could care less, though. 2 movies = More Harry Potter. I think it will make the movies richer and better told as well.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love them if they did that! I wanted them to do that for all the other movies! And now they might! YYYYYEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok so im a little bit happy, but happiness never hurt, right? That is amazing! *goes in corner and does happy dance*

Uhm.. ok, I just Google HBP, and David Yates is the director. I know he's been the producer for 3 of them or something, but director :o
Am I the only one who's wondering why he's the director?

Ankaa - January 28, 2008 05:26 PM (GMT)
He directed Order of the Phoenix too so hopefully he'll do a good job.

I'm looking forward to seeing Snape (our glorious leader) up there on the screen for the whole of HBP, so Deathly Hallows x2 would be even better!

Sardine - January 28, 2008 05:41 PM (GMT)
He did?! Ok, I'm so behind. Anyway.

Mmm, Snape.. with that silky voice *drool*

ladeeknight - January 30, 2008 11:54 PM (GMT)
 You too will turn anything into a Snape drool fest. Didn't you start a club so the rest of us didn't have to watch? :P

I know there are always all kinds of rumors about this, but I heard they haven't decided on a director yet and they are still trying to get Speilberg.

Sardine - January 31, 2008 04:42 PM (GMT)
Maybe.

Argh, my internet is soooo slow

Hahahaha... I was thinking of David Heyman, not David Yates... my bad.
Hmm... I don't know why Yates directed HP and the OotP; he's more of a TV series director person.

Oh well.

Maybe they'll haved David Yates as the director, for Deathly Hallows as well. I think that would be aswome, I think he's a really good director. He did a very good job with the other Harry Potter movies that he directed, and I bet he'd do just as good (maybe even better) on Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.

Sardine - February 7, 2008 04:13 PM (GMT)
I personally disliked OotP, along with PoA.

Chris Columbus must direct DH. I would say that he must also direct HBP, but I believe that they've already starting filming that. I think I might die if Alfonso directs DH, and I hope that Steven doesn't direct it either.. and yes, I know he's an awesome director, but I don't think Harry Potter is his style.

Sue me.

How did you dislake Order Of The Pheonix and Prisoner Of Azkaban? I like Order Of The Pheonix the most, out of all of the movies so far. The 6th and 7th will be even better I bet.

Sardine - February 15, 2008 10:05 AM (GMT)
Uh, maybe because there's next to nothing in the movie that's actually from the OotP book. My friend could make a better, more accurate Harry Potter movie using his normal video camera and a few editing programs.

Henry Bridge - February 23, 2008 06:48 PM (GMT)
Yeah sure he could (sarcasm). I think Order Of The Pheonix was the best Harry Potter movie so far. Who cares if there's some stuff in the book, that isn't in the movie. It's still really aswome, and that's all that matters. I hate when people look at movies and just think about(and look at) the bad things in movies. But whatever you guys say, different people have different opionions.

Shonk Da 'Onk - February 24, 2008 04:14 AM (GMT)
I know I could . . . heck I could do a better version with flash and a bunch of stick figures :P

Unfortunately there is nothing rly good in OotP to talk about so technically I'd say where not just talkin about the bad stuff . . . we're just talking about all there is. Even the music sucked in this one . . . usually it's good at least

^I believe that.

And my friend has already made a short movie for school that was so popular that it was shown to the entire school (over 1000 people). He's also made loads of clips for school stuff. Heck, if he were to make a preview for OotP, it would be better than the movie.
And PoA. Worst movie ever. The only good thing was that they got Harry's hair right. But Alfonso went and relocated the whole of Hogwarts.

All the movies have turned into a money-making scheme. Why put the facts from the books in the movie when you can put some other bull in?
It's stupid.
