Erin walked over to the area set up on the edge of the Forbidden Forest, and surveyed it one last time. The area was hilly, and completely covered in several feet of snow. Dotting the hills were several walls made of ice, and on a few hills were circular snow forts consisting of a simple low wall, and a small igloo in the middle.

The area of the snowball fight zone was about the size of four football fields, and around the perimeter were large glowing stones. The purpose of the stones was to stop any students from using any form of magic, unless they left the area.

"Hopefully someone shows up...."

Erin said, adjusting her gloves to keep out the cold better, and she walked to one of the walls at the edge of the field to wait for others.

Olivia decided to go and check on the snowball fighting field. Alot of her friends said that it was fun.
She put on some warm Slytherin robes and headed on down.
When she got closer, she saw Erin at the parimater of it
"Hey!" she called "This the field, whats with the glowing stones? Dont tell me we cant use magic in there!"

Cassie saw Erin from the top of the hill and waved. "ERINNN" Cassie yelled speeding down the hill and charging towards Erin. With a loud squel she jumped on Erin and hugged her. Then she saw Livvy and went up and hugged her as well, not getting as mcuh of a running smart.

"No Olivia... we can't use magic while on the field. It keeps things safer for lowerclassmen who are playing. I don't think anyone below fourth year can stand a chance against someone like Dream or Leo. Besides... I've completely destroyed a bathroom with a superball. I know the right spells to do the same thing to a snowball. Do you really want to have a snowball fight with magic against me?"

Erin said, smiling evilly. She gestured towards the nearest runestone. She pushed Cassie off, trying not to laugh.

"These things will suck up any magic used within their parameter. There are limits... but unless everyone was casting the most powerful spells they knew, I doubt it would work. I did make sure there were portkeys leading to the Hospital wing, in case someone gets hurt from another iceball or something."

Cassie laughed as she laistened. "maybe we should rid the feild of iceballs just in case" she giggled smiling innocently.

"Ok, I see your point there" Olivia said. Just then, she saw Cassie tackle Erin, then turn nd hug her.
"Hi Cassie!" she said, gonne fight to?" she asked "No magic allowed though"

"That would take too long Cassie... We will just have to hope everyone isn't going to try anything like that."

Erin said, and stood there waiting for others.

"How about you two head in real quick, and check out the place. Feel free to start without me. I'm just going to finish something up real quick..."

Erin said, and continued to magic the words on a sign, telling people entering the area that their wands, and other forms of magic would not work.

Cassie laughed and jumped into the ring. She tried a simple spell and found out it didnt hurt. "Nice job Erin" she said picking up a snowballl and chucking it at Livvy:

Sabrina walked down the hill on her purple italian robes hermother had given to her for christmas. She ran down the hill suddwenly, after seeing Cassie and yelled, "CASSSIIIIEEEE!!!" really loud and then playfully tackled her.
"I wanna' play erin!" she called over to erin. "Sign me up!" she said.
Then she got up off of Cassie and said, "OLIVIA!!!" then hugged her tightly.
"you guys gonna' play too?"

Khai ran down to the feild to where the girls stood. He gave each one a hug individually then greeted the one that ones that he did now know. "I'd sure like to try"

"Sure thing Sabrina, head on out... I'm just going to put up this sign, and I'll be out there too!"

Erin said, and carried the sign over to a place right in front of the path near the runestone. She raised the sign above her head, and slammed it into the ground, the stake the sign was mounted on digging into the snow, and dirt.

"Okay! Let's go!"

Logan noticed a bunch of glowing stones when he had been on the skating rink, and decided to check out what was going on. He saw a few snowballs being tossed, and grinned. He crossed over the stones and knelt down in the snow. He formed a few snowballs and slowly made his way over to the group.

"'Ello!" Logan grinned, tossing the snowballs at Cassie and Erin. "Is this what I think it is?" He asked excitedly, while inching back slightly.

Sabrina grinned when she saw Khai.
"Hey!" she kissed his cheek and smiled even more.
"You wanna' play? well, you gotta play dirty!" she laughed and threw three snowballs at Khai rather quickly.
Then she launched two at Logan. "Hey Logan!" she shouted.

Khai laughed and chucked one at Sabrina and one at the girl who was known as Erin. He saw another guy over there and went over."Hi I'm Khai" he said introducing himself/

Logan dodged the first snowball, but got hit on the side of his head with the second. He laughed, brushing the snow off as he formed a small snowball himself. "Aww, thanks Sabrina, love. Have one on me!" He hurled the snowball foward. "Nice to meet you, Khai. I'm Logan." He extended his hand. It wasn't often he met other guys.

Sabrina ducked and threw another snowball at the back of Cassie's head.
"Hah! got you!" she said and giggled.

"Later guys an gals! I'm heading for a fort! They have snowball making machines in them!"

Erin said, and tossed a quick snowball she had made at Sabrina as she started running for the nearest hilltop fort. She dived over the ice wall, and laughed to herself.

Sabrina wasn't paying attention as erion's snowball hit her in the face the second she tuirned around. She ran after erin and into one of the forts. "Will there be teams? she asked from where she was.

Cassie laughed and saw Logan. "LOGAN" she yelled attacking him with a giant hug. "Hey prettyy boyy" she said using her special nickname for him.

Logan laughed, but stepped back a bit with the force of her hug. "Hiya Cass! I'm Pretty boy now?" He asked with a grin. It fed into his already dangerously over-inflated ego.

Cassie giggled. "Well it was that or Mr. Ego" she said laughing knowing about Logans big confidence. "I know someone else who has a big ego" she said glancing at Khai. "Logan wanna go to the fort and kick some butt"

"I can't lie, I do like 'Pretty boy' better." He laughed. Logan glanced at the fort and nodded to Cassie. "Like I'd say no, love. Let's get to it!" He grinned and started to trek over to one of the forts. Erin wasn't kidding, there was some snowball making equipment inside! Technology that he, Logan Alexei Devonwood, would gladly take advatage of.

Cassie followed Logan into the opposite fort and began loading snow into the machine. "ready to kick some major butt" she said giving him a high five.

Sabrina admired all the snow cannons and machines. She began to put some snow into the cannon thingy. "Come here Khai!" she called him over. She would NOT want to be up against him. It wouldn't be fair...*heheh*

((OOC: Sorry to disappoint you Sabrina, but there are no snow cannons, but there are machines that make snowballs in all the forts, and there are tons of ice walls to hide behind if you want to stay out of a fort))

Erin grabbed a few snowballs from the pile that the snowball machine had already made, and stood up long enough to throw them at anyone she saw. She then ducked behind the wall again, and started to take her scarf off. Her knit Slytherin scarf was to be her secret weapon in this snowball fight. Using it as a sling, she could throw snowballs almost twice as far.

"I think we're getting started everyone! If the snowballs I just threw at you all didn't clue you into that fact that is..."

Erin said, and popped up from behind the wall again, swinging her scarf around with a snowball placed in the makeshift sling.

Cassie grinned at Logan and laughed. Peering over the fort she aimed at Sabrina's fort and started chucking a barricade of snowballs at it. "Come on Lo...help me"

Sabrina said, "I'll get6 you for that!" checking snowballs back at cassie's fort. she gggled and yelled, "KHAI! C'MON!" she laughed as she threw a snowball at khai's back.

OOC: sryy erin...i didn't know that. thanks!

BIC: sabrina loaded some snow into the snow machines and aimed them at cassie's fort. "HAH!" she yelled triumphantly.

Henry was walking around outside and saw people at the winter festival. He saw, Logan, Cassie, and Sabrina. Henry walked up to them and said, "Hi guys. How are you doing?" Henry picked up a snowball and threw it at Logan's face,and chuckeld a little. Henry then picked up two more snowballs and threw them at Sabrina. Henry then layed down in the snow and felt like making a snow angel, and that's what he did.

"Irish people make good bread....WHOAH!" Olivia came back to reality and jumped behind a snow fort as a snaw ball wizzed past her head. "I should really kick the habbit of not paying attention..." she said.
She quickly made some snowballs and thew one at Sabrina, Logan, khai, and at Cassies and Erins snow forts. Then, she threw one at Henry, as this was not the time to be making snow angels.

Henry was hit by the snowball that Olivia threw at him, he then swalled some of the snowball as well. "Hum, that snow tasted good. I'm just glad it wasn't yellow snow, because you know what that means." Henry was saying to Olivia. Henry picked up 3 snowballs and threw them at Cassie's snow fort really hard and quick, hoping to do a lot of damage to it. The snowball fort started to fall a little and then Henry said to Cassie, "Huh, I'm damaging your snowfort."

Logan, being in a fort, watched Henry's snowball whiz over the top. He shrugged knowing it was probably supposed to hit him, in the face more than likely. The snowball making equipment was making him especially giddy. He was quite eager to start using it. "Ready then Cassie?" Logan was bouncing in his seat.

Cassie laughed. "Well then pretty boy. Shall we show then how the sexy smart people do it." she said laughing. Then she whispered in Logans ear. "Lets do t for the ones who hurt us" she said nodding and starting a barrage of snowballs.

Olivia sat with her back against her snow forts wall right next to the entrance, snowbal in hand, a pile next to her.
"Ok, the first person I hear walking past is dead..." she thought outloud to herself. That was probubly a bad habit that was going to give her away, but so what? anyone who came near was basicly a walking target.

Khai began to chuck snowballs after he got the freshlay made snowballs. He aimewd right for Logan's fort then mved on to aiming at Erin, laughing hysterically as he did.

((OOC: Henry, you can't break ICE forts with a snowball. That would just make a for bigger. And if you start throwing rocks, I will request a mod remove you from my thread.))

Erin ducked as the snowballs flew toward her. As soon as they passed, she popped back up, and hurled a single large snowball towards Logan and Cassie using her scarf-sling. She was about to duck when she got pegged in the arm by one of Khai's snowballs.

"I'll take on ONE partner, if someone can get to my snow fort on their own."

Olivia, tired of waiting, ran from empty fort to empty fort trying to find a little group she could join up in.
Rules number one of snowball fighting: Dont go alone, you need sombody to watch your back. Unless they suck of course.
She stopped in another empty fort, making some snowballs just incase. She spotted Cassie and Logans fort, and suddely decided that she would work alone for now. She picked up two snowballs, and chucked them at the fort, hoping that they would hit. Which they probubly wouldnt. She used the snowball-maker to make a bunch more.

Cassie felt a snowball hti her fort. "We are being bombarded" she said to Logan giggling. She took two snowballs and chucked them over the fort edge hoping they would hit. She peered quickly and saw it was Olivia. She stuck her tongue out playfully.

Henry walked back into his fort. He then heard Olvia say that no one could pass so he threw a snowball at her face. "Huh take that Olvia." Henry then ducked down into his fort, and started to get some snowballs ready.

While Henry was ducked down under his fort, Olivia grabbed a bunch of snowballs, probubly around 10 0r 11 because thats how much she could carry at one time, walked over to Henrys Fort, and dropped them all on his head, then she walked away, finding a new fort that was away from the others. That way she could scheme more without being disterbed.

As their fort started to be bombarded with snowballs, Logan began to load up his snowball launcher. "Alright, ready, aim, fire!" He began to launch snowballs around to the other forts. He set a couple on Erin's fort.
