Leona had been debating to go to the dance all nght and had come to the conclusion that if Dalejin wasn't going to go, she wasn't going to...The only people going to the dance anyway were other couples who wanted to make out and show off in front of their friends. To some of the girls here, it was a right of passage. Leona had been noticing that Scarlett had felt quite lonely since Micheal went MIA. Leo had been their before, heck, still there, so she decided to help by inviting her to make an evening of fun. She sent her an owl and hoped she had got it.

An owl swoope unmolested into Scarlett's room and dropped a not on her bed. She looked over at it an missed Bella. "Thanks," said Scarlett handing the owl a treat that she kept for these little messengers that her friends sent. Usually the treat was sort of a hassard duty pay that Scarlett passed out to the owls to keep them comimg back even though Bella had tried to eat a few of them, but lately it had just been a habit.

Scarlett unfolded the letter and saw it was from Leo. She smiled as she read the contense and replied:

"Leo,

Much like you at Halloween I don't really know if Michael will show or not. But I don't need a boy to have fun. I will see you at the dance and we can definately find some way to have fun, whether the men folk show or not. I will save a fast dance for you, and maybe we can go ice skating.

Truly,
Scarlett."

Scarlett rolled the letter up and sent the owl off to Leona. They would have fun dates or not!

Leo got the letter and read the note carefully, when she was finished she pulled out her quill and responded:

Scarlett,
Sounds like a plan, as long as we don't stay at the dance too long, if I have to see one more couple make out tonight I'm going to puke XP. I'll meet you at the ballroom door and we'll see where the evening takes us.

Leona rolled up the parchment and tied it to Artemis who thought it absurd to deliver a message to someone who was right down the hall, but went anyway.

Several hours later Leo walked up to the ballroom door dressed in a silver beaded top and jeans and waited for Scarlett to show.

Scarlett came through the double doors of the ballroom from the inside smiling a bit sheepishly at Leo. “Sorry Leo, I was waitin’ here for ya, but then I thought I saw… well never mind. It wasn’t him. Anyway, I don’t think you wanna go in there. It’s just a bunch of couple, doin’ there couply thing. We should head outside to the concession stand and see what they have to offer.”
