Emma sat on the floor of the Room of Requirements. The room was all grey, and the only thing that had color besides Emma herself, was a bottle of red liquid, sitting in front of her. Her loyal brindle, female greyhound stalked around the room, waiting for something to happen, but now wanting to disobey her owner.

Emma had been sitting there for 3 hours. She was sitting criss-crossed, and her head was wresting on her palms. She had the look of shallow discontent written all over her face. Her hair was pulled back and it was as dark brown as it could possibly be. Her classes had ended around noon, so she hurried up and changed into a pair of jeans and an orange halter top. Making sure no one saw her, she had slipped into the room of requirement with a note in her hand.

The note was obvisiouly in a male's handwriting. It simply said..

Meet me in the ROR. Dont touch the potion!

Foolishly, she had followed and trusted the person, but after getting bored, she went to touch the potion and the room started to shake. Startled, she took her hand away, and everything returned to normal..

"Emma Emma bad little Emma touches things she shouldn't touch. That potion isn't for Emma to play with and now she is in a strangers clutch" Cassie sang in a sing song voice as she exited from the dark corner of the room where she has been hiding. "Emma it said do not touch the potion and well I got biored about an hour ago, came up here, saw you, saw the potion and wangted tpo see what would happen. Man that was pretty cool" Cassie said laughing.

Emma looked up at Cassie with a smirk and asked.."Is the only thing in your brain a radio or do you pride yourself by being able to rhyme easily?" she said laughing at Cassie's song. "I will touch it again, I am not afraid of it. It's just a bottle with a potion in it!" she said, lunging out towards the bottle.

CAssie smirked. "I knwo you want to Emma, I know thats true. What wath out for what itmight do:" she sang again giggling. She sat on the floor and braced herself for Emma to touch the bottle again.

Emma grinned, and rolled her eyes at Cassie's singing. Leaning forward, she touched the potion bottle, but pulled back quickly, looking at her burnt fingers. "Owww..." she said, and then asked.."Did the floor shake?"

Cassie giggled. "Noooo but you played with fire and got burned. I hope you had a lesson learned. But yet I see the fire deep within your eyes. Touch it again and lets get ready for the next suprise" Cassie said grinning and staring at the potion bottle with immediate reverance.

Remy walked into the room and grinned "sorry girls i didn't know the room was occupied" he said as he looked around. "ummm whats going on?" he said puzzled as the only thing he saw was emma sitting near a potion bottle and cassie standing near her. This had to be the strangest room of requirements he had been in and that was saying a lot.

Sabrina had saw Emma slip into the ROR on her way back from a stroll on the grounds. She smiled sneakily and felt the floor shake. She stepped oevrt o where emma and the potion were.
"Whatssagoingon?" she said in a tired voice.

Emma looked at Cassie, "I am not touching that thing again, it obvisouly does something but not for me." she said and stood up, letting someone else go and touch the bottle. While she did this, Sab and Remy walked in. "Hey guys." she said with a grin, "Cassie and I were just talking and observing this potion, maybe you guys can try and open it?" she said sweetly.

Remy had always been a fool especially when it was a girl with as sweet a voice as emma so he walked over to the potion bottle and looked at it. He shrug his shoulders and knelt down to pick it up when the darned thing began rolling away from him like it didn't want to be touched by him. Remy saw it roll to where sabrina was and then stop suddenly in front of her.

Sabrina suddenly stared down at the bottle with wide eyes. "Uh... ok.." she picked it up and she heard thumping and pounding, like evry large footsteps, then tthe floor began to crack beneath her feet. She quickly grew ver scared as the floor shook voilently as it did for emma and then the bottle felt very sticky.
"Ew...." she said and she couldn'tget the bottle out of her hands. "GET IT OFF!" she demanded.
she couldn't get uit off. "Emma? Remy? CAssie? HELP!"

Cassie smirked and raised an eyebrow. She let out a low chuckle almost evil. "Emma Emma rolled away. Where she stops, when she stays. Away Away Remy hun. This silly game is no more fun. Evil evil bottle sticks. The silly bottle full of tricks" she said cryptically.

Remy heard cassie singing and he slolwly walked over to emma's side and whispered softly "hey emma did cassie get into the firewhiskey again" as he looked at cassie. It looked like cassie knew what the bottle was or did and he wondered what would happen if cassie touched it. "hey cassie would you hand hte bottle to me it dont want me to touch it but maybe if you hand it to me? he asked her.

Cassie let a very low tiny laugh."Hm Remy Remy think your smart. My hands are strectched far apart. For I wont touch what I know and when the bottle stops the bottle rolls" she said. She knew the cyrptic messages were getting annoying but she was going to enjoy her fun. Besides...it was only the beginning.

Sabrina was getting scared and annoyed.
"uh remy? Hello? the bottle is STUCK TO MY HANDS!" Sabrina tried to shake it off.
"And it stinks!" she said. It stunk of rotten eggs.

Emma watched as Sab picked it up, and it stayed in her hands. She then saw Remy come over to her side and whisper to her.."No, I mean I dont know." she said, trying to figure out what to do. "You work with Cass, I will work on Sab." she said to Remy, as she got up and made her way over to Sabrina.

"Ok..ok..calm down. Nothing productive ever happens if you freak out." she said, using a very soothing, soft voice. "Now, I am going to try to take it off. Ok?" she said, reaching her hands out towards the bottle. Right away when she touched it, all of the color drained from her face. It was his voice. Screaming over and over again in her head.."I told you not to touch it, Emma! Don't you ever listen!".

Yanking her hands away from the bottle, she placed them over her ears, childishly thinking that doing that would make it stop. Slowly she calmed down, and looked up at Remy.."I think I know what the potion is.". The voice was still in her head, but it was slowly dying down.

Sabrina saw Emma begin to cover her ears and lose color in her skin.
"EMMA!!! WAAAAHHHH!! GET IT OFF!"
Sabrina actually began to cry. She really didn';t feel good today and to have a bottle that smelled terrible be stuck to her hand was not someting she planned on having happen today.

Things oinly got worse when the bottle began to burn. And i mean, BURN!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH! JESU CRISTO!!! HOT HOT HOT HOT!!" she yelled and screamed.
"EMMMMMAAAA!"

Cassie sat cross legged on the floor. Then she began to laugh, a slow almost maniacal laugh. She began to say softly, in the slow rhyme. "Touch the bottle you shouldnt have done, so now its time for cassie's fun. So now this silly game will begin. and only one shall win. For the others the end is dire"

Emma looked over to Cassie.."Cass, shut up, please!" she said, quickly becoming frustrated. Why would he do this to her? And did Cassie somehow know him or know what the potion was? Looking at Sabrina, she quickly rushed back over, uncorked the top of the bottle and yanked a piece of her hair out of her head. Quickly she dropped the piece of brown hair into the potion and watched as it turned black. At the same time, it slid out from under Cassie's hands and dropped to the floor, somehow not breaking.

OOC: Ha..Cassie try to rhyme that! :P

OOC: Cassie's hands?

Sabrina watched Emma do these bizarre things with the otion and then said, "What are you doing?!"

OOC: how oucld the bottle be rolling on the floor and slipping out of Cassie's hands when it was stuck to my HAND. singular.

ooc: emma's spell made it so the bottle slipped out of your hand and its now on the floor

bic: Remy looked at cassie and wondered if she was alright. He walked over to her side and stared into her eyes trying to see if they were out of focus but they seemed to be just fine. He stared at cassie before a grin spread across his face "what do you know about that bottle cass" he asked her.

Sabrina sighed in relief.
"Thnk goodness..." she stepped vey faw away from the bottlwe and stood against one of the walls.
"Keep that stupid bottle away from me!" she whimpered.

OOC: Oops..I accidently wrote Cassie, instead of Sabrina. LOL

BIC: Emma looked over at Sabrina who muttered some things about the potion.."Just stay away from it, I think it is used to make people go insane." she said, now realizing some things about what happened to her father. She was about to say something, but decided to keep it to herself. Looking over at Remy, who was wondering the same thing as Emma, what did Cassie know?

Sabrina looked around the room and they all seemed to be looking at CAssie.
"Cassie?" she suddenly asked.
"What do you have to do with this bottle?!" she demanded.
"If you have something to do with this so help me-" she threatened.

Cassie began to laugh evem harder, still the maniacal tone in it. Oh she knew the potion very well and was a big fan of it. Smirking her lips curled into the evil smile "The potion I do know well. But what it is I shall not tell. For now no one is escape"

Sabrina tilted her head at this commment and walked over to the door. She pulled it open with ease and said, "Point one for Sabrina. Cassie;zippo." she said and was standing in the doorway now.
"If we can't escape, then howecome the door is open?" she asked Cassie with a smirk.

Cassie smirked. "Away from the room you can go. But the potion will find you even hiding high or low. Do deal with it now or run away. Cuase you dont know if its ytour last day" she said mysteriously with that evil grin once again.

Remy looked at cassie and grinned "well i have nothing to do all day so i guess i can play with you and that bottle but i was wondering why it wont let me?? why do only the girls get to hold it? what is going on here cassie i am losing my patience with this whole thing fast" he said as he turned his attention to the bottle on the floor.

Emma began to realize that the potion was no longer what it used to be. "It chose someone in this room. And Remy must have already had major contact with this potion somewhere in his bloodline" she said softly, lifting her head up to look him in the eye. "Am I right Cassie?" she said, glancing over at the girl. "It chooses someone, but once it does, it can't ever affect that person again." pausing, she remembered how she left her step-mother who was clutching her mother's potion book that she used as a healer. The book had been passed down through generations. Her step-mother had been chosen by the potion. It must of been in her mother's potion cabinet. And her father's death?

He was killed by Emma's step-mother, that Emma was sure of. He must have tried to get in the way of the potion, and to stop it her step-mother had killed him.

"That's why the potion won't stay with me long." she said, outloud. "It can't control me, but yet I am not totally immune to it. My step-mother was controlled by it, and my father had tried to stop it, but he was never controlled by it."

Turning to Sabrina, she said quickly, hoping that it wouldnt freak Sabrina out as much if it was said quickly.."So technically, if I am right, then it won't follow me because I am stronger, and it won't follow Remy. It will only follow you, or Cassie, if she hasnt had contact with it before in her bloodline.

At that point Sabrina's eyebrows went so high up, they got los in her bangs.
"What?" she was very confused and she stared at Ema for a bit before saying, "ok, trip to the loony bin, two one way tickets. One for cassie and one for you." she rubbed her eyes and shook her head.
"What on earth are you talking about?"

Cassie let out once again another giggle. "Emma Ravenclaw is so smart. Now the real game truly smarts. Figure who the potion hurt, now be on highest alert. For I'll sit back and let you do the work. There is something hidden behind this smirk" she said grinning. She swept the bangs out of her eyes.

Sabrina's temper got the better of her and she walked across the room, and pointed a finger in Cassie's face.

"You will NOT tell me that I cant leave! STOP PLAYING GAMES WITH US!" her words and seething anger set the mood.

"If you think that I am gonna stay here and possibly be maimed, then you got another thing comin'!"

"something hidden behind the smirk" remy said quietly then smiled "i got it hurry sabrina punch cassie in the mouth the secret lies hidden behind her smirk" he said confidently. He had no idea what could be behind it but he knew cassie wouldn't have said it if she didn't mean it.
He looked at the bottle and knew soon its secrets would be revealed.

Emma looked over at Remy, eyebrows raised. "Hit her? Ok yes she said behind the smirk, but do you think hitting her is the best idea?" she said, worried about her friend's health. "What about if she gets hurt? Then she's done and probably wont talk." she said, wondering what they should do. "What about if we just make her drink the potion?" she suggested.

"oh yea i guess she could have meant she wanted to drink the potion as well" he said "her throat is behind her smirk as well so i guess that makes perfect sense" he agreed as he nodded his head "im sure glad your here emma i would have probably smacked her and then never found the secret of that potion" he smirked.

Emma grinned.."Just trying to save a friend from some pain.", looking at Cassie, she said.."Drink up my friend.". Emma then quickly kicked the potion over towards Cassie. It slid to her feet and stopped. Emma then watched to see if Cassie would drink it, her eyes would now and then flick over to the others to see their reactions.

Remy waited to see if Cassie would drink it but he soon grew tired of waiting. He sat on the floor and then after a while lay down on his back and began to look at the ceiling of the room. He had been in tis room alot of times and had never just lay down on the floor and just taken the time to look at teh ceiling.

Bic: Cassie watched as the bottle rolled towards her and looked at with a small smirk. She began to chuckle darkly spinning the bottle round and roudn in her hands. "You think you've got this game figured out. But now I'll show you what its really about" she said downing the bottle in one swig then looking at them with that evil smile.

When remy mentioned punching cassie sabrina laughed.
"That sounds like a pretty good idea right about now.." she said and angrily rolled up her sleeve.

then she stoped and heard emma say for heer to drink it. so she watched in silence as Cassie downed the potion. She waited a few moments and said, "What the hell are we suppsoed to do now?" then she stopped and stared at CAssie.

Remy leaned over and looked at the bottle and saw that it was now empty. HE got up from the floor and grinned "you really drank it all" he said to cassie then turned to emma and sabrina "did she really drink it all" he said his voice full of suprise. He looked at cassie wondering what was going to happen next and grinned as he knew whatever it was it wasn't going to be boring.
