Ari was pretty nervous getting sorted, but when she finally got to sit down at the Ravey table she found herself even more nervous. Smiling a little, shy smile around the table, she thought Lord if I survive this night I will be lucky. Then, all of the sudden there was food and even her favorite pumkin juice. She grabed up a roll, and instead of doing her usual she just nibbled it. She hoped she would make a friend, because if every meal was going to be like this she would definately starve! Ari was the type she could it a lot, but for some reason never gain a pound. She considered herself very lucky for this quality.

Emilie ran into the Great Hall to find she'd missed the sorting. Again. She blushed as heads turned to stare at her as she hurried to her table. She sat down quickly, not really noticing where until she looked up and saw she was next to Ari. "Hey, Ari! Long time no see!" she said, grinning as food appeared on the table and she began pilling it on her plate.

As Ari started too nibble on her roll a girl who Ari had met on the train by the name of Emilie dropped down beside her. She spoke to Ari and Ari was glad she now wasn't all alone. "You are in Ravey too," asked Ari. Then, she helped herself to some mac n cheese since Emilie was eating to, and plus it looked great!

"Yup, I'm a Ravey." she said, grinning, "I know, you'd never think of me as one of the smart ones." she laughed. She reached across the table and grabbed a chicken leg and pilled some salad on her plate. "So how's it going?" she asked conversationally. "Is Hogwarts awesome or what?" she asked.

Henry was rushing around the corridors looking for the great hall (since this is his first year) and he finally found it and walked in. He then looked around and saw his sister Emilie and his friend Ari at a Ravenclaw table (since they're bother Ravenclaw's like me). Henry then walked up to them at the table and sat down and said to them, "Hey girls how are you on this fine day?" Henry wanted some french fries but they were at the end of the table so he took out his wand and sat, "Accio! Plate of French Fries". The French Fries then came to him and he began to eat. He then saw some coke and said, "Accio coke glass!" And it came to him and he poured some into his glass cup and began to drink it.

As Emilie started a conversation with Ari and had her laughing, her brother Henry who she also had met on the train came over and joined them. He asked how they were doing and all Ari said was," Well, I am a little nervous." Looking back to Emilie she asked her what would be taking place after the feast.

Henry was wondering why she was nervous, if anything Henry should be the one that's nervous because he's a newer student than she is. Henry then said to her, "Why are you nervous? There's nothing to be nervous about, you've been here longer than I even have been. So, if anything I should be nervous not you so just calm down a little bit. Okay?" Henry was hoping she's calm down now.

BiC: Ari listened to the reasoning of what Henry was telling her. She then told him trying to explain," I am nervous, but only because I only know a few people here." She hoped he understood and wondered why he also wasn't nervous. Looking back at Emilie she told her," Now I see how ya'll are kin, you both are never nervous!"

OoC: On this thread I am new. This is my first dinner at school, so who I know are the peps I met on the train. That's why we both are considered first years at the same time on here.

"You're late." Emilie hissed at Henry as he came in. She knew she probably shouldn't reprimand him for being late as she had been as well, but why not? She turned back to Ari, "You have no reason to be nervous." Emilie assured her, "After the feast, the headmaster will give his parting speech and we'll go up to the common room and chill out before a day of classes tomorrow." she said, taking a drink of pumpkin juice.

As Ari listened to what Emilie told Henry she couldn't help but to smile. She then explained the plans for the rest of the night. Ari afterwards felt a little overwhelmed. So, she took in a breath of fresh air before asking Henry if he had met anyone new.Then she took another sip of her juice.

Henry was somewhat nervous so he asked his sister Emilie, "Is the headmaster nice? I hope! Or is he mean?" Henry was hoping his sister wouldn't laugh and would give a nice answer to him. Henry then went to get some chicken and some orange soda to eat and drink. "Woh! This food is very good" Henry said.

Ari smiled at him and looked at Henry saying," I hear he's nice, but I have never met him." He then went to go get some food along with saying that he loved the food, and Ari couldn't help but to laugh at him. She too loved the food and loved to eat!

"Oh yeah, the headmaster's great." she said, grabbing another roll and buttering it. "So you like the food." she asked both of them, watching as they ate. Everyone always loved the food at Hogwarts. There was no match for the incredible meals that they had every single day. Deserts were the best part.

Ari was glad the stories of the headmaster being nice was true. She smiled at Henry then adding a nod of the head when Emilie asked about the food being good. Ari was now starting to have fun. "So where are we going next," asked Ari in excitement.

Henry said to Emilie, "I love the food so much as well, especially the french fries and chicken fingers." Henry took out his wand and said, "Accio Plate of Chicken Fingers!!" The plate filled with chicken fingers then came flying to Henry and he began to eat them. "Um these are so good, they are nice and chewy as well." Henry then coninuted to eat and said to anyone at the table, "Oh I'm sorry girls, would any of you like any they're really good? But, not as good as the ones Aurora makes. Those are defently the best."

Emilie rolled her eyes when Henry pulled out his wand to accio the chicken fingers, "Henry, you don't need to whip out your wand for every little thing. Either ask for someone to pass it to you, or imagine that it's on your plate." she said before turning back to Ari, "Next, we'll go up to the common room and probably just hang out there the rest of the night until classes tomorrow." she explained, "We usually play all kinds of fun games and people always bring sweets with them." she said, grinning wickedly. Emilie waved away the chicken fingers Henry offered them, "No thanks. I think I'm good with what I've got." she said, gesturing to her full plate.

Henry looked at Emilie and said, "Whatever. I won't use spells for every single thing, sorry about that." Henry then reached out and grabbed a lot of grapes and put them on his plate. He then grabbed some french fries as well, and began to eat the french fries and grapes. Henry then said to Emilie, "Okay. I'll join for the grapes, food,etc. I'll bring really good snacks too." Henry then picked up some more of the fries on his plate, and began to eat them.

After the sorting, Emma began making her rounds around the Ravey table. She said "Hello" to all of the old students, and asked them how their summer was. She also made sure to meet all of the new firsties, and to get to know them.

By the time she had gotten to the end of the table, her brain was in over-drive, trying to remember everyone's names with their faces. Seeing Emilie, she gave her friend an excited smile, eventhough she was really tired. "Hey Em, what's up?" she asked as she sat down next to her friend. She then looked up to see a girl named Ari that she had met on the train, and a boy that she knew was Henry, Emilie's cousin. "Hey guys, how's everything going?" she asked them, wondering what their story was of the boat ride to the castle, eventhough she had already heard it re-told by about 20 new first years.

Henry saw Emma near there table. "Hey Emma, glad to see you. How are you? I had some fun time on the boat and the train." Henry looked at his sister. "Didn't we Emilie?!" Henry enjoyed boat and train rides very much.
