What career do you want?

I want to do a load of things, but the main things are:
Marine biology, and hopefully Marine mammal behaviour

I don't really know, all I know is it has to be what I enjoy. I do hope though to make a little difference in this world if I can help it. I think there is so much bad here that there has to be a few of those who are willing to put down a foot or two to make things better here.

Me, i just want to live my life happy or have a money enough for all my needs. But currently I want to finish my studies, coz I'm in college taking the course BSBA Marketing Management and of course I want to become professional. =)

By "What do you want to do/be", I mean career-wise :D

I've always been interested in the Natural Sciences: biology, zoology, botany and geology. When I got to university I started taking courses in them and ended up majoring in geology. I became a geologist, and I really enjoy it. I'm working in the energy industry at the moment.

I'm gonna be an engineer with mechanics and technology and electronics

Well, I guess if I had to say what right off the bat I'd go with a Vet or a teacher. That way what I do would be making a difference which is my goal in life.

I wanna be a novelist when I grow up. :P

As I was growing up there were always different things that I wanted to do, all of them in the sciences (marine biologust, pathogist, kinesiology, paramedic) but in the end I went a completely different route! I'm graduating in April as a chef and I'm going to be moving to England in the fall to work. I hope to open my own little café and catering company one day, in the not so distant future.

I'm currently trying to see what fields there are in Marine Biology. Could anybody give some advice?

I'm headed towards Artist or Novelist. I'm working on a story right now and crossing my fingers it turns out okay! lol.

Sardine: The feilds are practically limitless, though it would depend on the actual coarse you do to become a marine bio. but then againt hat's just me going off how things work down here.

ANYWAY! I want to save the world!

. . . yeah didn't think you would believe me but in all reality I cannot decide what I want to do and I see myself being one of those people who just goes to University for a very very very long time because there is simply too many things that interest me.

At this current moment in time I'm split between coarses in Psychology, Sociology, Visual Arts, Science . . . and I'm also want to look into cultural studies but who knows.

Some feilds I did wnat to get into during different stages of my life:

Parapyschologist
Hobo

While doing all this/lack of this I also want to write, though I think most know that already.

For the last couple years I have had my heart set on doctor, I even started to pick out certain fields that I wanted to work in and everything. My mom said I couldnt, and I wanted so badly to prove her wrong, but within the last year I took all of my classes advanced, and I have had a 2 year advanced program in Math since 6th grade, but this past year it really hit me that Math and Science (now it was earth science and I fall asleep there, when it involves cells and humans and bodies I'm more in) are not my strong points.

I always thought as Lawyer as one of my other choices, and this year I have really come to liking Lawyer. So right now..

"When I grow up I want to be a International Lawyer, Study Constitutional Law, or be a Chiropractor ( :blink: ). lol

im currently leaning towards either a occupational therapist, or something with children. But it changes all the time only a few months ago i really wanted to be an architect and before that a nurse. so yeah.

When I was little I always wnated to be a photographer. I was that little kid who came to kindergarden his first day with a camera that had elmo all over it and took pictures of the trees and such^^ The rule was that I couldn't take pictures of any of the kids though...

Then, after I stopped taking a camera everywhere, I wanted to be an artist. Painting mostly... But I can't paint :P

Now I'd ultimately like to get some novels finished, but I'm not sure if I would do that as my career or not. I'm going to do a video game design coarse though and see where that takes me. *nods*

Gone are my ambitions of being a marine biologist... I begin with my official pilot training next week.. I'm also doing quite a bit of photography.

Nice! :) That must be a cool job, but there's way too much stress, maths and science involved.. I suck at maths and science, stress I can sort of handle, though.

I'm in college atm studying film and media :D

next year i'm then going on to university to study media production :D then after 3 years there im going to the national film and television school- i already got me a place!

I wanna be a film maker if you havn't guessed :P

That's a lot of studying... I can't see myself studying for an extra 2+ years after I finish High School.. unless it's flight training, of course!

Well when I was younger I wanted to be an animator, still kinda do, I'm just too poor to go to school for it....I also would have loved to get into movies, but it's not gonna happen either.

Right now I'm going to school to be an elementary teacher, just like everyone thought i was gonna do, I don't know why. Apparently I have school marm written on my forehead.

But if it's something you enjoy studying it shouldn't be hard at all Sardine . . . you would want to study . . . or maybe I'm just a nerd and that's what I'm like.

I like words :) I have a 114 year old dictionary which is really interesting to go over and compare how the meanings of words have changed over the years :)

Oh yeah that reminds me . . . at one stage I wanted to get into eptymology (sp)

good question i want to go right through highschool then go to uni and study law and forensics, i would love to be a antherapoloygist and a laywer

I can't even pronounce antherapoloygist ... An-the-rap.. An-the-rapoloy... blah. I'm into forensics, and murder stories and stuff (scarily so), but the thought of examing a dead human just freaks me out.
