*I jog into the Hall and look around.. spotting the far corner of the Hufflepuff table, I jog there and sit down. Grinning, I look at my plate. A second later, mashed potatoes with gravy, as well as roast potatoes appear, along with some hashbrowns and strawberry-flavoured sauce. I grin and pour some of the sauce on the hashbrowns. I look at my empty goblet, and grin when it fills with a never-ending supply of Dr. Pepper. I grab my knife and fork and begin eating away, taking large gulps of Dr. Pepper every now and then*

Lexi walked into the Great Hall and looked at the Hufflepuff table. It was crowded with Hufflepuffs, except for one dark corner where a boy was sitting. Lexi skipped over to the boy and sat down next to him,"Hi! I'm Lexi, is it okay if I sit here?" She was in a cheery mood, and hoped that it would light p the darkness of this particular spot in the table.

OCC: Lexi, I'm uh, a girl, by the way.

Sardine

*I look up and take a swig of Dr Pepper. Lowering the goblet, I nod slowly*
"Ok. I'm Heather, but I prefer to be called Sardine," I say, before turning back to my potatoes.

Lexi Fox - December 16, 2007 10:42 PM (GMT)
ooc: *Turns perfectly red* Oops sorry! My bad!

Lexi smiled again and dug into the food on her plate. It was delicious! She then sipped some of the pumpkin juice in her cup. "Wow, the house elves really outdid themselves," she said.

Sardine - December 18, 2007 08:14 PM (GMT)
OOC: Thats ok.

Sardine

I nod slightly in agreement, and mumble "They have." I look glumly at my plate, now pushing strawberry sauce-soaked mashed potatoes around it. The hashbrowns were long-gone.

Gerdy walked into the great hall. She was starving! She had skipped lunch to finnish a book that she had been reading, it had a good ending so in the end it was worth it but she went hungry for the rest of the day until now. She noticed quite a few empty seats around Sardine and another girl. she bounded over there. "Hey guys! Whats up?" She asked as a bowl of wild rice soup appeared on here plate, along with a loaf of steaming hot bread. She could smell the yeast, and that was just the way she liked it. She dug in waiting for them to reply.

I push my plate away and it vanishes. "Not much, Gerdy," I say and have a sip of Dr. Peper. "Excuse me," I stand up, walk about a meter away, stand on the chair/bench, and climb onto the table, where I promptly lie down. "What have you been up to?"

Ez-Bake oven - December 22, 2007 09:17 PM (GMT)
"Not much actually. I've been lieing pretty low lately. How about you?" she said eating more soup. She felt thirsty. Gerdy grabbed for a glass of egg nog that was not there a second ago, and took a sip. " I don't think i've met you before," she said to the other girl. "Im Gerdy." then she turned back to sardine and waited for her answer.

Lexi Fox - December 23, 2007 12:25 AM (GMT)
Lexi piped up,"I'm Lexi, nice to meet you." She extended her hand and cracked up. She was so old-fashioned. "So, have you two heard of any upcoming dances? I think a Sadie Hawkins dance wld be cool," she said.

"The usual. Hunting for pictures and clips of Johnny Depp and Alan Rickman," I drink some Dr Pepper, and manage to mess on the table. I shrug.
"No, I don't know of any upcoming dances, Lexi," I say, turning my head so I can see Lexi. "I'm not big on the dance scene. And I can't say I know what a Sadie Hawkins dance is," I admit.

Lexi Fox - December 23, 2007 07:12 PM (GMT)
Lexi laughed,"It's a dance where the girls ask the boys. It's quite cool. My muggle friends are having one now." Lexi chuckled at the thought of her asking a boy to a dance. It seemed so pathetic.

"Ooooh, ok," I say and nod slightly. "I've asked a guy to be my date to a grade 7 dance we had.. he said no," I say and sigh. "Oh well. He's more like my brother than a date," I shrug. "I'm bored."

"I dont think there are enough guys in this school for every girl to et to go. Well not even a 1/4 acually. Its kind of sad really."

"Well, I doubt anyone would ask me," I say, looking at Ez, "So that gives you lot who want dates an extra guy," I say and smile. I sit up, spot some grape juice, pour myself a glass, drink it all in one go, then lie down again.

Ez-Bake oven - January 25, 2008 09:11 PM (GMT)
"Oh haha! im sure someone might have asked you. But we will never no will we. I would just go with my friends. Who needs guys anyway?! All they do is break up with you in the end." She then took a sip of the Pepsi that had appeared in front of her, and then chugged the rest.

I shrug. "Guys are a waste of time," I say. "They use you, then they blame you, then they say that you always try to blame them.. I learnt that first-hand," I close my eyes and yawn. "I'm 16 today."

Ez-Bake oven - January 27, 2008 11:16 PM (GMT)
"Happy BIrthday! Wow! Your sweet 16! Pretty cool! I must say i think you are right on guys being a waste of time. Hey are you going to do anything special for your b-day? maybe we should all get up off our butts and do something fun cuz it is a special day!" Gerdy replied as she pulled a chocolate baby bunt cake drizzled in 3 different kinds of chocolate.

I smile. "Yep, sweet 16. I don't see why people make such a big deal about it," I frown. "It's just like any other birthday... Well, to me at least," I add. I eye the cake, even though I'm still lying down, and therefore the cake is upsidedown.

Ez-Bake oven - January 28, 2008 03:27 PM (GMT)
"Well where im from you learn how to drive , well i guess you get your licence when you're 16. But then again thats only useful in the muggle world huh? Thats really the only reason i can think of tho. YOu no this babybunt cake is really good! You guys should try som." she commented as she shoved another bite into her mouth. Then she gluped down a glass of milk. She jumped up. "Ill be right back...errr bathroom!" she bolted out of there and looked for the nearest bathroom. 'Ive had way too much to drink' she thought.

I roll my eyes and watch Ez run out of the hall. Rolling over, I grab a fork and move over to the cake. I cut a slice for myself and eat it slowly, thinking, but not actually thinking. "The cake is good," I mutter to myself, crossing my legs.

Ez-Bake oven - January 28, 2008 11:00 PM (GMT)
Gerdy ran back into the hall feeling much better and decieded not to drink so much. She sat back down. "I see you tried it! What did you think? Wasn't it amazing?" Then she took another bite herself.

My mouth full of cake, I nod out of fear of spraying Gerdy with half-chewed pieces of cake if I were to speak. I look around for some tea and swallow some, washing the cake down. "It is pretty good," I smile.

Ez-Bake oven - August 25, 2008 06:06 PM (GMT)
She finnished her cake in one last bite. "MMmmmmm... So anything new going on? nything exciting happened lately? I guess we have some new Huffles... i hope they come around soon..." she trailed off thinking to herself about the newbies.

I finish the last bit of tea and sigh happily. "Not much. I'm just steadily making things worse on the relationship front, but it appears that I'm quite good at screwing things up," I shrug.

"What do you mean?" Gerdy was puzzled. She wasnt sure what she ment. She grabbed a particularly large piece of apple pie. She bit into it and new it was a little piece of heaven. It was just how she liked it, warm and just a bit runny, but not so much that it went all over the plate. It was perfect.

OOC: I was craving apple pie... and now i really want a piece!!!!

I shrug again, grabbing a piece of the apple pie that Gerdy was scoffing. "Just having some bad luck with old relationships.. hard to let go, that sort of thing," I take another piece of pie.

OOC: I know what you mean.

Ez-Bake oven - September 5, 2008 09:36 PM (GMT)
"Oh well sorry about that... Hope it all ends up ok..." she cleaned her plate and grabbed another piece of apple pie. She couldnt resist it. It was so incredibly delisious. This time she ate slowly to savor the piece of pie.

OOC: lol yeah... its so good! and i hardly ever get it!

katiejune - September 22, 2008 03:23 AM (GMT)
June walked up behind her two favorite huffies doing one of her favorite things, eating dessert.
"Yum!" June slid in across the table from Gerdy and Sardine and dug into a half eaten chocolate bunt cake.
June had just caught the last part of the girls conversation and hoped she was not butting in, relationships where not something June knew too much about.
"Boys baffle me, they are never interested when you are, but the minute you forget them- they seem to re-appear with new found interest. What a load."
She waved her fork in the air as if to prove her point showering the table with little chocolate crumbs. "Oops," she said sheepishly.
