[Name:] Logan Alexei Devonwood
[Age:] 15-16 (with the year progressions and the way he acts)
[Bloodline:] Pureblood
[House:] -Waiting-
[Appearance:] Logan's pretty good-looking, (but the worse part is that he knows it). He stands at about 5'7", and he has been growing at a steady pace. Logan has sandy blonde hair with dark brown eyes. He's pretty lean, but hopes to fill himself out with muscles as he gets older.
[Character Personality:] Logan is a fun-loving, but rather cocky kind of guy. He knows that he's good-looking and will use his signature grin on the ladies. He has the reputation of being a "lady-killer" despite the fact that when he genuinely does like a girl, he'll only see her.
Logan is pretty sharp-witted. He never has to fight for the last word, he just gets it. His sharp wit contributes to his knack for pranking.
Aside from this, Logan is a genuinely nice guy. He would do anything just to make a friend smile.
When it comes to magic, he's a pretty practical guy. He'll use spells to fix things, or just for simple tasks. But he never uses it out of anger. It takes a lot to work Logan up to the point of actually taking out his wand if he's angry
[History:] Logan was born in London to Rosemary and Gregory Devonwood. However, they moved to Liverpoole within a month of his birth. Both of his parents had gone to Hogwarts years earlier. Rosemary was a Slytherin, and Gregory was a Ravenclaw. Both of his parents worked for the Ministry of Magic. The two both regretted not being able to have more than one child, but it just couldn't happen. Despite this, Logan started off with a fairly normal childhood, right up until the age of 9.
Around this age, Logan's father became very ill. He saw several doctors, both muggle and magical, but they had no cure. Gregory's dying wish was for Logan to attend Hogwarts. Rosemary promised, but she still didn't know about her son's magic yet. When he died, Logan went into a reclusive state. He had been very close to his father.
Rosemary watched Logan carefully for the next few months to see if he displayed any sort of magic. It was strange for him not too, considering that when he was a child of 5, he would encase himself in a light blue glow when it was dark, and he would just perform simple magic. After Greg passed, it stopped. Rosemary feared that would be detrimental to his abilities. However, after those few months, a letter flew in addressed to both herself and Logan. It was from Hogwarts, Logan had been secured a position! He was magic! The letter was sent early, so that they would know in this dark time that wishes could happen.
Although still sensitive about Gregory's death, Logan emerged as a changed individual. He was much more outgoing as the time for him to go to Hogwarts grew closer.
The first few years at Hogwarts were rather nice ones. He made the position of beater on the Ravenclaw house team, his father's house. Although Logan fully believed that he belonged in Slytherin, he was not going to dispute the decision to be in Greg's house.

You are sneaking out of your Common Room at night and a Prefect grabs your arm. They want to know why you are out of your bed after curfew and threaten to report you/take house points. Post this scenario from your characters point of view and beware of GodModing the Prefect's actions. This is to get an idea of how your character reacts and to get you considering their thought processes. You do not have to escape, simply react to the scene realistically. You may create a valid reason/excuse if your character is not the type to break rules (illness, note from headmaster, etc..).
Of course they caught me... Logan thought to himself, as he now started into the eyes of a rather annoyed Gryffindor prefect. Well, he certainly couldn't tell the truth, that he was acting on a dare from his friends.
"You do know that this is reason enough to take points away, right?"
Oh you've got to be kidding me, Logan resisted the urge to roll his eyes. However, the prefect was pretty angry. And the prefect was of course male, so that ruled out charm in Logan's book. Therefore, he fell back on an old alternative, "Well, it's a little embarassing but, I got lost on the way back from the men's room." He said shrugging his shoulders and sighing. "I know, I know, it is quite pathetic. However, I believe that I have now found my way, so if you don't mind, I must adjourn to my house now." Logan turned on his heel, hoping not to be called back.
