Ok I have decided to start a new thread because the other one had over 40 pages and I was constantly loosing track of who asked for what and what I had already done and blah, blah, blah. In other words there were way to many pages for me to sift through and now that I have almost finished for this school year and all but one of my exams have been completed I have more time to keep up to date with things and actually get them done. ^_^

So yeah from now on I will keep track of who and what I need to do in this post as well as posting thumbs of completed LC stuff in this post here so it's easy to find links to ect. ect. :)

Didn't want to clutter up the first post. :) Anyway . . . I don't really know if I will continue to post my personal projects anymore. No real point apart from showing off (:P) so I don't think I'll bother stuffing it on here.


I think I have mentioned a few times now that I have been reading the Obernewtyn Chronicals by the Aussie author, Isobelle Carmody. I absolutely love them . . . more then Harry Potter which is reallsaying something since I have been obsessed (obviously why else would I still lurk here . . . not that anyone discusses here <_<) with them since I was 8. :D Unfortunately the main antagonist of the series happens to have the name of Ariel (cue picture . . . see I'm not just rambling) . . . and he is a boy (obviously . . . I hope). So of coarse . . . with me being me I kept think of Ariel the friggen little mermaid. It's very hard to take a character seriously, especially such a sadistic one as this character, when you imagine them flipping around with bright red hair and a tail. To make matters worse my mother told me she actually imagines Ariel as being like Draco Malfoy because they both have white blond hair. :mellow: Draco Malfoy the Little Mermaid is highly amusing!!! However considering he is meant to be Ariel it was also rather annoying . . . ergo I attempted to draw Ariel in hopes that I would regain a sensible mental image of the character and it has sorta worked since I have decided that my mental image of him has curlier hair :P


Designs for my own characters Eliose and Rick . . . though I seem to be incapable of drawing Rick because he never turns out right. They feature in the same story as the Wyvern ^_^

Skecth for Emma . . . these probably wont be the final colours, I was just playing around with it. ^_^ Changes?? Oh what the heck your a metamorphagus what does it matter what you look like :P

Since you just pointed it out to me, I would LOVE an LC portrait of Dream. :) If you wanted to add something to it, you could put in a dark gray wolf with glowing red eyes and/or a siamese cat that is black and blue and has bright yellow eyes. :)

OMG, I love it. Absolutely love it. Its really cool how she has short hair, and the earring and the shirt and the wand and the eyes and the EVERYTHING! I love it!

Just one tiny suggestion, can u put some black in her hair, because it usually does have a black tint?!!?

If you aren't too busy (and it looks like you MIGHT be) it would be nice if you could do me a portrait of my character, as I have been having issues finding lookalikes and such. Here is the character description:

Either short (shoulder length-ish) or medium length brown hair. In some sort of style that emphasizes the fact that its HAIR, and should look someone what nice, but it better bloody well stay out of my way.

A face that looks mischevious (possibly like a female Wyvern) and possibly with the custom omnioculars she uses (just imagine weird magical or alchemist looking goggles that just look silly) her eyes are brownish green

One thing I would REALLY like though, is if you could put a rather large chocolate frog somewhere in the picture, like on her head, or on the side, or something, as Erin's chocolate frogs have apparently become her trademark (because they explode)

Do the commission if you want, I don't mind, because eventually I will be able to make something that sucks... er... I mean, something myself.

Nah not yet . . . I've been playing around with different colouring styles and such with it so I havn't actually finished it yet. :D Sorry, I liked the sketch so it's been fun just playing with it.

Shonk I would love it if you would do a portrait of Scarlett. She has black hair and green eyes. If you would like to put Bella (her black cat) in the pic somewhere that'd be great. Scarlett is brave and protective of her friends, just like any Gryffy, but she is also vain, and bossy sometimes. Her favorite thing to do is shop, and she runs Madame Padfoots' cafe. I don't expect you to put all that in pic, I just wanted you to know a little bit more about her than hair and eye color. I am a big fan of your work and I hope you will take this commission.

Its okay if you dont get the time, I'm patient, but I was wondering if you could draw me? Heres my discription:

Dark brown hair with streaks of light brown in it. My hair is short, around shoulder length.
I have loads of freckles and my eyes are brown. I have a very knowlagble look on my face and I'm uaually tired from reading so late.
I'm carrying books and I have a Ravenclaw scarf on and I'm carrying my school bag.

Anyway . . .

FROM NOW ON IT WILL TAKE ME LONGER TO FINISH OFF PEOPLE'S CHARACTER PORTRAITS AND OTHER SUCH REQUESTS!

I started doing these mainly because, well it's fun, and because I thought it would be good practise for me to do them. Nowadays however they are not so much good practise but wastes of time . . . Ooo don't I sound mean . . . as they are certaintly not challenging to me at all. To do them as they have been done would probably take me 10-15 to sketch colour and do a dodgy background. Usually these days I tend to be doing things with a lot more detail such as this which I started earlier this week. :)

So from now on I will tend to do things a lot more detailed so they will take longer . . . they probably wont be nearly as neat and such and don't expect awesome backgrounds 'cause I still do dodgy ones :P but yeah.

Also once I start school in Feb I'll be in my final year so I will actually study this year which unforunately takes time also. :mellow:

All I can say is wow Shonk. That portrait is amazing. I understand if you are too busy to do Scarlett. Studying should be the most important thing, I just wanted to say that your art is awesome.

Hey Shonkie... From my guess, and that of others, I take it the blonde girl is me? Dead on except for one thing. The hair is a bit too light, as Erin has light brown hair. That and a boa? A pink boa? I thought you didn't like pink yourself? I prefer purple if I were to have a 'girly' color. I can recolor these myself, but you can if you want.
