ok, so i was on a train and i couldn't think of a spell to lock a door. can anybody help me?

Coloportus, the spell from the fifth book, if you want to stick to cannon Harry potter spells.

Leaky Caauldron.NET and HP Lexicon and Wikipedia are really good sources for all of the HP spells from the books, movies and video games. You can use any of those spells, just make sure not to make up spells. :)

If you have a plant or some seeds you can make the plant grow across the door so no one can come in. The spell is Herbivicus.

If you need water which you do to help the plant grow, use Aqua Eructo as well.

As you can see I am trying not to spam anywhere I post but it is hard sometimes to think of enough to say. LOL

You can use the spell expelliarmus, to disarm your oppinote and use it as a shield. I wonder if you can use any of the three unforgivable curses: Avada Kadvra, Crucio, and Imperio I think the last one is. I kind of forget, yes I know it's sad that I forget that spells name, the one that makes someone do whatever you want then to do I think it's Imperio but I kind of forget. I also don't think you can use any of those three curses.

Just another piece of information. If you don't feel like looking all over the web for the spells you can just go to the library here at the LC.

If you have an HP spell that is not in the book in the Library you can add it. That will also give you some place to post when you are bored. So go check out our library, there are quit a few books there.
