This is where the Slytherin Cheerleaders and the Gryffindor Cheerleaders will perform their cheers and post to each other. Competiveness is expected, and so is some good natured ribbing, but keep it clean, and DONT be mean!



Dream flew onto the Quidditch Pitch. It was finally game time and she wanted to check in with the other cheerleaders on her squad before she went to the Quidditch locker room to get into her Quidditch gear. "Alright guys! Let's do this!" she said sounding more hyper than ever before.

Scarlett bounded down onto the Quiditch pitch holding her red and gold pompoms and looking around for the rest of the squad. Her hair was pulled pack in high pigtails and curled so that raven tendrils just skimmed her shoulders. There was a high flush of excitement in her cheeks and she was ready to cheer for all she was worth. It was still early and the crowds had not started to show. Then she faced the opposite side of the pitch. There was no sign of the Slytherin cheerleaders.

Cara walked out onto the pitch wearing the team's silver shorts and green bellytop(not all of them are bellytops though) with two green and silver pompome tucked into her belt as she did with her wand so often. Her hair was tied back into a high pony tail, and on the back of the top was "CAPTIAN" on the front was "SLYTHERIN" She eyed the Gryffindors before sitting down ont the ground and doing a few stretches, waiting for the other members of the team.

Scarlett saw Cara come out onto the field. The Slytherin Cheerleading captain was quite the snappy dresser. Scarlett saluted her with her pompom's. Scarlett then did a series of cart wheels and flips to warm herself up for the game.

Jojo cartwheeled out onto the field, ending with a round off. She grinned at the sight of Cara stretching, and Scarlett and Dream on the other side, dressed in Gryffindor colors.
She was dressed in an outfit exactly like Cara's, silver shorts with a green bellytop. Jo had felt a little exposed before, but with the adrenaline pumping through her veins, she didn't notice it anymore.
Throwing her pompoms into the air, Jo did a quick backflip and caught the pompoms neatly in her hands as they fell back down.
Melting into a split, Jo relaxed as she bent over her front leg, touching her nose easily to her knees, and began to start her warmups.

Michael walked into the stands to sit on the gryffindor side. He had been invited by Scarlett to watch her cheer. He wanted to see her so he kept his promise and sat on the back and saw her. He gave her a small wave just to get her to see he had come.

Scarlett saw Micheal's wave and she waved back beaming. This was the first time a guy had come to a game to watch her. It had always been her going to football games or soccer matches. Micheal in the stands watching her, making cheerleading captain, could this day get any better? She supposed they could win the match...Well that wasn't up to her but what was getting the crowd going. She began the old stand by of "go fight win!" hoping the crowd would join her.

OoC:Michael I am pretty sure this thread is only for the cheerleaders. I am very happy to see you made it though. There is a thread for the fans though and I will be watching it so see if you stay for the whole game. *wink

Jyssica ran out onto the quiddich pitch with a big grin on her face. She waved her Red and gold pompoms at the ground and then did a cartwheel to join her team. Her heair was tied up in a high ponytail with red and gold ribbins. She put her pompoms down and began to strech her legs and arms before the rest of the team got there.

Scarlett was breathless with antisipation. Gryffindor was so close to scoring. She started a cheer hoping Jyss would join in.

Dream watched the Snake girls walk onto the pitch and she sent them a catcall for their cute outfits and she grabbed Scarlett's pom poms and called out in a singsong voice "At least you'll look cute when you lose!" Then she jumped up high in the ground and did the splits and spun around so her back was to the Slytherin squad, all the while shaking the pom poms at the back of her hips.

Leona walked out onto the pitch her hair was done in curls that were in pigtails, and she was in gold and red makeup. She did a few round offs and sprinted over to Dream. "Hiya," she said winking. "Just say the word and I'll get our mascot over here to scare the crud out of the snakies," she added.

Cara laughed loudly and falsely before whispering something to Jojo. Now it was the Slytherin team with the quaffle at the Gryffingdor end, getting ready to score. Cara stood up and skipped over to where she was to stand, before cheering loudly, running down to the one side of the pitch, and doing a series of back hand springs followed by a tumble(the full twisting double back one). She landed smoothly, straightened up, and faced the crowd before chanting:
"Soaring through the air, with such grace?
It could only be a Slytherin face!
Our beaters are strong, our seeker fast!
Keepers keep those kittens tame,
Chasers keeping up, with the game!
What keeps Slytherins our cool name?"

Cara paused in the cheering, while the crowd waited for the rest of the cheer, the drama of the pause growing, before she continued even louder than before:

"We fight, We bite, We're dynamite!
We're cold, and bold, now you've been told!
We play, to win! we'll do you in!
Us snakes attack, so watch your back!
Give it up, you've got no chance!
Watch us do our victory dance!"

Cara finished and started jumping up and down, the pompoms in her hands, wich were above her head, amid renewed cheers from the Slytherin supporters.

Scarlett could see that Leona was under some pressure, with Remy and Crys both trying to score on her repeatedly. Scarlett turned to face the crowd determined to get them to show their support for Loe.

Leo Leo She's our Gal !
If she can't stop it no one shall !

She repeated the cheer at the top of her voice, trying to drown out the sound of Cara's cheer, because, Scarlett thought, it was a very good one. Though how the girl could cheer and smack a bludger at the exact same time was a mystery to Scarlett.

Nodding to Cara, she followed her down the pitch, skipping and then going into a backflip, and landing in a split. She shouted out the same cheer with Cara, and at the end she jumped up and down with her pompoms, motioning the Slytherin crowd to get louder.

She was surprised by their response of stomping their feet on the benches in tune, and singing "Let's Go Slytherin, Let's Go, Let's Go!!". Looking at Cara with a grin, she did another front flip, and signaled the crowd to get louder, and louder.

As Scarlett was leading the crowd in her cheer for Leo, she couldn't help seeing Micheal and by his intent gaze she could tell that least one Gryffy in the crowd was her personal fan. She smiled brilliantly at him and waved again while continuing to drum up support for Leo.

Jyssica grinned and cheered along with Scarlett. She waved her pompoms in the air to get the crowd pumped. She did a few chartwheels and finished it off with a double back hand spring, when she landed she shook her pompoms around and walked back over to join Scarlett. Then she began to fallow Scarlett in cheering on Leo. She screamed the chant with great enthusiasm and excitment.

Now with Jojo to back her up, Cara changed the chant to "Slytherin, Slytherin, we're the best! Always will beat the rest." Cara repeated that a few times at the top of her lungs, throwing in a back tuck, round offl, back hand spring, or front hand spring in between each chant, hoping for Jojo to get the hint and to imitate her moves. Where was Drake? He was supposed to be there... in fact, they were supposed to have three more cheerleaders including Drake. Sure, the Gryffiindors had more cheerleaders than them at the moment, but the Slytherin team had the spirit, awesome cheers, and a person with a voice loud enough to shake walls, wich had happened a few times. Plus, they had the Slytherin side who were now screaming the cheer along with Cara and Jojo.

Olivia opened her eyes aand yawned. She got up, streatched and got dressed. Then she noticed that nobody was in her dorm, or in the common room, or anywhere.
Her upper lip twitched when she relized that there was a quiddich game today. "Gah!" she ran out of the common room.
If you were in the hallways at the time, you would see a girl running down the hallway with her arms held infront of her yelling "Craaaaaap!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Finnaly, she reached the quidich field, but noticed that everyone was playing already. WEll, at least she could still be a cheerleader, and that was good.
"Oh my god, so sorry" she said to the others, who probubly didnt hear her at all.
"Ummm" she thought about a cheer she could say. Ryming wasnt her best.

Scarlett smiled brightly at Jyss. That's the spirit Jyss. Let's keep up this cheering momentum. "Ok Jyss let's do cheer #1!" Scarlett called it good and loud incase Dream and Mari wanted to get in on encouraging Leo.

Drake was late and he knew it so he started to run towards the quidditch pitch. He was wearing green chearleading pants with silver stripes on the side, a green jacket with DRAKE on the back with a snake under it. His hair was brown with green spikes. Once he got to the field he noticed the game had already started and the chearleaders were already having a go round.

Scarlett just finished a chear when Drake did a double cartwheel and a one-hand round-off landing him right next to Cara. He whispered to his side 'Sorry I'm Late.' Then started chearing "Slytherin Slytherin were the best. ALways will beat the rest." clapping his hands to the chear.

"Um, hold on I got it...." She thought for a moment more, then finnaly cheered:
"Slytherin, Slytherin
Will rise above the rest.
Slytherin, Slytherin
You all know we're the best.

Gryffindor, Gryffindor
You dont want to admit it.
Gryffindor, Gryffindor
But you all know we will win it!"

And that, my friends, is what happenes when you have ADD and are put in a stressful situation. :)

Scarlett saw dream save the goal, and Mark start moving the quaffle down pitch. Melie was in a good position to score. She turned back to the crowd and started chanting.

Gryffindor Score! Griffindor Score!

until the crowd picked up the cheer and started thumping their feet. She hoped Mark could pass of to Melie but the bluggers were thick out there.

Jyssica began cheering along with dream,

She yelled at the top of her lungs as she danced along to the beat and waved her pompoms everywhere. At the end she did a split and, even though it caused her pain, she didn't let the grin on her face disappear. She swung her right leg behind her and quickly stood up. "So Scarlett what cheers next on the list?" She asked as she cracked her neck and back.

Scarlett cheered along with Dream and Jyss. "Great job, picking up that cheer from Dream," Scarlett told Jyss. "That is exactly the kind of initiative I like to see in one of my cheerleaders. You can pick the next cheer off the list that I approved for the game. It's all right if its already been used."

Jyssica ginned as Scarlett complimented her. "Alright then," She thought about the list of cheers for a moment and picked her favorite then said, "Let's do number 8" She then got in position and waited of Scarlett to start them off.

Scarlett grinned at Jyss and started the cheer.

When the cheer was done Scarlett leaned over to Jyss and whispered in her ear, "I have to go up into the stands for a minute. You got this though. I will be right back I promise. Just stick to the cheers I aproved for the game and you can use the one Dream just made up too." Scarlett gave the girl a quick thumbs up and ran for the entrance to the stands.

Jyssica cheered along with Scarlett until the chant was over. Jyssica whispered intently as Scarlett whispered in her hear. "Alright have fun! Don't worry I got this" She replied as Scarlett ran to the stand enterence. "Altight how about cheer number 3." She told the rest of the squad. She got in position and yelled "Ready, Lets go!"

"Woo hoo
Come on now
Don't deny it
The other team don't have a chance
We'll get up and take a stand
We won't give up until we win!
The other teams have their talents
We're not as smart as the Raven
We're not as loyal as the Badgers
Or as sly as the Snakes

She yelled as she did spins and twirls and waved her pompoms all around. When she got done with her ending pose, she got the crowd to start chanting with her.

"Go go Gryffindor, Go go Gryffindor!" She repeated over and over again, as did the crowd

Scarlett came back out on the sidelines walking on air. Jyss had done a good job of keeping spirts up while she was gone. The Slytherin cheerleaders were taking a long break, probably have to reapply thier makeup so the fangs didn't show, and Gryffindor was dominating the pitch. Scarlett launched into another cheer just to make sure that the Gryffindor cheerleader could be said to be dominating the side lines.

Scarlett waited until Jyss caught onto the cheer and then Scarlett asked the questions hoping Jyss would reply loudly.

Dream flew down to the rest of her squad, hooting and hollering because they had just scored another goal. She started chanting along with Scarlett as her cheer captain started up another cheer. Then she flew back up to the game, smashing a bludger at one of the Slytherin chasers that was trying to catch the quaffle.

Score again! Scarlett let out a rebel yell and did a series of back flips. No wonder the Slythy girls didn't seem to want to cheer, there wasn't much for them to be happy about. Scarlett broke into Dreams new cheer.

When she was done she looked up into the stands to see if she could catch a glimpes of Micheal. She waved but she wasn't sure if he saw her. He seemed to be deep in conversation with Alfie. Scarlett was glad he had someone to talk to now, but a little apprehensive about what might be discussed. As all the Gryffindor fans roared there pleasure, Scarlett shoved all her bad feelings away pasted a big smile on her face and kept on cheering.

Jyssica responded to Scarletts first cheer by responding with "Gryffindor, Gryffinddor." and having the crowd chant along with her. Jyss then watched dream and waited silently to see what Scarlett was going to do next. Jyssica listened to Scarletts cheer once then began to cheer along with her, while doing flips and turns and such in the air. The slytherin girls are really quiet. Oh well. she thought to herself as she took a quick brake to get a sip of water. She then practacly skipped up to Scarlett and asked. "Are we going to do pyramids today?"

Scarlett smiled at Jyss and got some water along with her. She really appreciated the other girl's enthusiasm. "Well Jyss frankly we need more cheerleaders to do a pyramid. Maybe since the game is in timeout we can get the other girls to break from thier huddle and do one with us." Scarlett waved and tried to catch Dream's attention.

Dream had finished up the Gryffyz huddle and she saw Scarlett catch her eye. "Let's go Leo. We're on." she said. Then she zoomed down to the other cheerleaders and landed beside Scarlett. "What's up? Is it showtime if we can get Leo to join us?" she asked her. She knew that there were only a couple more minutes left in the timeout so this was their only shot before halftime.

"It's show time!" Scarlett answered Dream. "If Leo comes over here this is what we are going to do. Dream and Jyss will each grab one of Leo's hands and will give her a boost from down here so we can hoist her into standing position on y'all's shoulders. From there we will do the following cheer:

Jyssica noded attentivly as Scarlett talked to her. Then she watched Dream fly over to where she was standing. Jyssica listened carefully as Scarlett explained what was going to happen. Then she imagined what exactly was going to happen and what she was going to have to do in her head. She smiled and nodded as Scarlett finished explaining then watched for Leo to come and join them.

Leona zoomed down from her broom as she overheard the cheer they were going to have to do. When she dismounted she looked over at the slowly forming Gryffindor tower. "f you don't mind, I'd like to put in use that secret routine we've been working on," she added with a wink, eager to do the dance routine that was sure to turn some heads.

"Of corse Leo, you go ahead and lead us since it is your coriography," Scarlett said to Leo. She then turned to the rest of the the squad and said, "Ok girls slight change of plan. We are going to go through Leo's dance and then toss her onto the broom." Scarlett lined up according to plan and prepared to follow Leo through the steps to the dance.

Jyssica smiled as soon as she saw Leo glide down to where they were. She got in position and waited for the dance to start. She then got herself ready to fallow the rest of the girls in the dance. She was glad that she was a fast learner.

Leona blinked at Scarlett and gave a cough, "Er...Right," she said incredulous, not believing they were going to actually do it. She pulled out her wand to do a quick change of clothing and was now wearing her Gryffindor Cheer uniform. She then pointing at the announcing table way up in the stands and Man! I Feel Like a Woman, Began to play. She turned her back as the rift started and pointed at the other cheerleaders who were hopefully in a similar position, "Let's Go Girls," Leona said with the music. She began rolling her shoulders in rhythm with the music and did a step that was similar with the cha-cha but it was only front and back movement.

Scarlett followed Leo's lead. She was glad Leona had suggested something like this because Scarlett had thought the Slytherin cheerleader's opening number had been quite clever and she was glad her squad had something to match it. The next part of the dance involved a kick line that was three high kicks followed a with everyone's leg coming down at a slightly different time looking alike a wave. It was a complicated move and Scarlett hoped everyone's timing was on.
